2:51 All right, everybody, Joshua chapter number what? Six. And I want to begin a brand new series today as we've been in this idea on traffic. but today for our time together i want to begin a brand new series entitled the walls are coming down the walls are coming down as the holy spirit has given it to me it says now jericho was securely shut up because of the children of israel none went out and none came in And the Lord said to Joshua, see, here it is. I have given Jericho into your hand.

3:47 It's king and it's the mighty men of valor. It says, you shall march around the city. All you men of war, you shall go around the city once. This you shall do six days. And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of ram's horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times. Skip over for the sake of time to verse number 20. So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet and the people shouted with a great shout that the wall fell flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

In this context, biblically, the scripture says that Jericho was securely shut up, locked down. but in verse number two the Lord says to Joshua see I have given you Jericho into your hand it's king and the mighty men of valor verse two he says he says the city is already yours.

7:12 He says, I've given to you the city and I've given you victory over the people on the inside who want to keep you on the outside. He says, he says, the blessing, verse 2, is already done.

7:41 The goal, I'm already on it, that goal. The destination is already done. The accomplishment is already done. He says, but in between you and the city that I said is already yours is a wall. It was tightly shut up in between you and the blessing is a wall. I have already given Jericho into your hand. Jericho is already done. But in between you and my plan for you, my will for you, my blessing for you, my destination for you is a wall.

8:45 I want to ask you a question. What is your wall? what is standing between you and what God has next for you what is standing between you and your next blessing that he's already finished what is standing between you and what God wants to do for you in this next season what is standing between you and what God has ordered for you established for you see the interesting thing here is God affirms to Israel he affirms to Joshua that the blessing is already finished yeah but there is a wall here it is here it is it's not what God has to face but it's what we've got to face to get to what God has already handled. It's a fixed fight. God says that Jericho, I've given it to you and I've given it, given you victory over those who are on the inside that don't want you to have it. Here it is. Here it is. It's tightly shut up and there are people on the inside that don't want to see them have what God said is theirs which means very practically that there are some blessings I just got an email from heaven excuse me there's a transcription taking place right in front of you there are some blessings that both spiritually and physically in the spirit realm the enemy has got it tightly shut up and is trying to block you from getting what God has for you but then there are some physical people that don't want you to get what God has for you and they will do all they can to keep you on the outside what is your walk and I

10:57 tell you the devil don't want to see you get to where God wants you to get the devil don't want you to have what God wants you to have and whatever that is or wherever that is there's a wall that the enemy wants to use to keep you on the outside it's a giant keep out sign that wall that separator that divider what is separating you from the will of God the wall has got to come down sometimes the wall is a person sometimes the wall is a thing sometimes the wall is a situation sometimes the wall is a mindset sometimes the wall is a mentality sometimes the wall is an attitude sometimes the wall is an experience that you faced sometimes the wall is a vicious cycle that's saying keep out sometimes the wall it is an arresting fear you can't get out of your own head to get into what God has got for you because fear has gripped you on the inside sometimes it's a mental block in your own head you can't get around your own thoughts you can't even perceive or see or embrace what God could possibly have for you because it's inconceivable. Maybe it's unimaginable. Maybe it's unprecedented. Maybe you're going to make history or break history in your own family and do something or be something that has never been done or seen before. Maybe the wall is a raggedy relationship that's blocking you from your blessing. Maybe the wall is some paralyzing sinful struggle that you can't seem to get past maybe the wall is a prideful spirit maybe the wall is a lack of spiritual devotion your own demise is your own lack of reaching for God and inviting him on your own maybe maybe the wall is impulsive impulsive behavior and the inability to plan maybe the wall is a loss that you experience that has devastated

13:07 you and left you dysfunctional unable to move forward to even go after what god has got for you next maybe it's something somebody said to you maybe it's something that happened to you maybe it's pain maybe it's problems maybe it's debt maybe it's laziness whatever the wall is i said whatever the wall is by faith in the name of jesus christ has got to come down no weapon formed against you shall be able to prosper i don't know who god sent me for i don't know who i'm preaching to but the holy ghost took me to the side and told me somebody's walls have got to come down and the scripture says the scripture says god says i don't know i don't know who this is for but God says that I've already given you Jericho and I've already given you the king and the mighty men of valor in other words here it is the blessing is done but you've got to embrace the process to get to the blessing and it's inconceivable that I'm going to be able to penetrate a wall by walking around it for six days one time a day and then on the seventh day I walk around it seven times. God gives this instruction, but here's what's important.

14:35 Before God gives the instruction, God confirms vision and he says, I want you to get your faith up. I want to put in your head the blessing. I want to put in your head the possibility. I want to put in your head i want to i want to get in your mind that i've already done i've already taken care of the end the end um in in isaiah 43 it says he finished the end at the beginning some of y'all are waiting on god and god is waiting on you god says i want to get in your head what i've already done first and get your faith up i want to want you to get your spirit strong so that you can embrace the process see if it's not in you on the inside you won't get after it on the outside and so I want to establish my word I want to give you a word and I want to put it in you so you'll know it's on you see I'll never put anything in you and you not have everything you need on you to be able to handle everything that's before you God says I want you to get in your mind now you already got the victory so when you see the enemies rise up you already know no weapon formed against you is going to prosper you might have to deal with some stuff the weapon is going to form but in the end the enemy ain't going to win he says i want you to be clear i want you to be clear that this wall that you got to face and the enemies that are on the inside I've given you Jericho and I've given you the mighty men of valor and I've given you the king help me preach a little bit and tell the person sitting next to you it's already done yeah it's already done God has already fixed the fight God has already given you the victory God has already taken care of the blessing you ain't got to worry about what God's gonna do because he's already done what he said he's going to do.

16:37 He's already made it happen. He just wants you to receive the word, embrace the word, so you can walk in the word. Even when things look different, you can know what you know and know that you know, that you know, that God said it. I believe it. That settles it. And God has never written a check he couldn't cash. If God said it, it will come to pass. And you got to be strong on the inside so you can be strong on the outside. You can't face nothing if you don't feel nothing. And he said it's done so you can embrace a difficult process. A process that doesn't make sense. It's hard, it's dismal and it doesn't seem to make sense. He says let me give you the vision.

17:32 then i'm gonna give you instruction he doesn't give the instructions first he says let me give you what i've done then i'm gonna tell you what you need to do yeah he says let me give you first what i've done and then i want you to embrace your assignment god says my homework is done I want you to get ready for your homework and here's yours. I want you to march around the city. March around the wall. six days one time a day they have got to get in their head god has a blessing that he has already given us we got to embrace the plot process and he wants us to do what now March around the walls that are standing between us and the city that he said is ours.

18:47 One time, six days, seven times on the seventh day. Number one, you got to break your will. you got to break your will. I got to break my will because mentally I got my own plans. And you just gave me some new plans that don't line up with my plans. You just gave me some ideas that don't line up with my ideas. See, we all have a will. Matter of fact, have you ever had plans and they didn't go the way you wanted them to go? The person next to you looks real spiritual at this moment.

19:44 But when things don't go the way you plan, they might not look as holy as they look right now. From little kids, we have our own will. We have our own plan. We have our own will. And when you ask a child to do something that is not in their will, they will respond. Ain't.

20:09 No. Sit down. you ever seen a child get beat in the grocery store some of y'all was that child god bless you you made it millions didn't make it you were one of the ones who did little children though we we all have a will they have got to break their will and embrace concepts and ideas that are contrary to their will all throughout the word of god there are concepts the con that are contrary to our natural approach our natural plan our natural concepts and ideas and every single day is our will against god's will our plans against god's plan we we god saying doing it my way and we're saying no the highway yeah i won't do it i won't do it my way we we we have frank sinatra spirits you understand and and and and and in luke chapter 22 verse 42 jesus in his humanity as he approaches the cross the scripture says the scripture says that as jesus approaches the cross he says in his will Lord if you're willing let this cup pass from me in his humanity as he approaches the cup he's asking God to consider something different but while he's in prayer his will as he expresses it verbally is broken and he says what nevertheless never mind when is the last time you told god never mind i was praying i was praying to go another direction but i'm gonna go never mind forget what i just said i'm gonna roll with your i'm gonna roll with your plan they've got to break their will because here it is if my will is not broken on the inside I will not pursue his will on the outside.

22:17 I've got a decrease so he can increase. Galatians 2 20. It says it says I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live. But the life I live is is of Christ, which means I need more Jesus on the inside to help me to obey him on the outside. I cannot do his will without him. I need him to help me work for him. I need him to help me. I need him to help me serve him. Help me obey him. Help me honor him. That's why we got to pray every single day. Because we can't obey God without God. We can't serve God without God. We can't talk like God without God. We can't treat people like God would without God. We can't bless God, praise God without God.

23:13 Can I talk to some real people? We we need anybody else other than me needs God. You need him like I need him. We we need him to be for him and to be like him. We we we we pray not because not not because something is necessarily wrong, but because we have a relationship. And when we have an earnest and sincere heart to work out our own soul salvation and work through those challenges. Let me see if I can say this. This is fresh off the press. When you experience tension with your will versus God's will, it is an indicator that you're trying to get it right. It is an indicator when Paul says there's a war going on on the inside of me. Every time I desire to do good, evil is always present. It is an indicator that the Holy Ghost is on the inside of you.

24:10 You've got the presence of the Holy Spirit when you sense some tension. Oh, my mind's telling me no. yeah you you got tension on the inside your your mind saying no and your spirit is saying yes and and you can i talk to some real people in the building you you you you you you gotta you gotta you gotta wrestle and sometimes y'all it ain't as easy as a let's go hallelujah sometimes your flesh can I talk to some real people it's saying absolutely not this is what I'm going to do and the spirit is saying get over here you know what the word is saying and your flesh is saying I want to go over here you know how flesh can be honorary you ever seen somebody strong and wrong you ever seen somebody we gotta break our will if they're gonna even approach the wall we gotta break our will number two we gotta break our patterns you gotta break your patterns because here it is they gotta go from consistently journeying from city to city straight line to walking around one city every day one time a day they gotta one time a day here it is they gotta change their daily regimen to get what god has for them they gotta change their daily flow of functioning what do you need to add to your day to get what god has for you what do you need to start doing every single day round and round to get what god wants to do in your life next what new patterns do you need to adopt see some people can't get blessed because they're too stubborn too stuck here it is the old adage says you cannot teach old dogs new tricks

26:22 you cannot teach established people to do new things you cannot teach people who are stuck in one pattern to embrace or adopt another pattern. I discovered Some new information. I've been hearing my whole life. You can't teach old dogs. New tricks. And you know I believe that.

26:53 And then I studied to show myself approved. that thing blessed me I studied this over and I discovered sheriff you can teach old dogs new tricks I studied I studied I studied I studied I studied I studied dog training and I discovered that you can teach old dogs new tricks if the old dog wants to learn new tricks If the dog is willing to embrace a new pattern, the dog will learn something new if the dog want to learn something new.

27:47 But some dogs. want to dig in the same hole some dogs are happy doing the same thing some dogs don't want nothing new so they ain't doing nothing new and i discovered i discovered here it is that if it's worth it to the dog.

28:15 The dog will do something new if the prize is of value. There is something called reward-based training. And if the dog has great appreciation or great value for the right treat, can I talk to some real people in the building the dog will learn new patterns new behaviors and new practices and break rank with what they have been doing when they feel like the treat is worth doing something new y'all with me? y'all with me?

29:02 the dog and listen the same treats don't work for every dog. Each dog has its own kind of treat that it responds to. Yeah. But if you get the right treat for the right dog. He'll use the bathroom outside. Can I talk to some real people in the building here?

29:38 Here she'll make some adjustments. All I'm trying to say to you is if the blessing is worth it to you. If what God's got for you is worth it to you. If what God has for you means something to you. then potentially you could be willing to adjust your patterns to get to what God has for you. But if you can't see the reward or the blessing, here it is, here it is, here it is, here it is, here it is. We ain't going to lose a pound. We're going to lose no weight. if the end result of being able to bend over and tie your shoe without breathing hard don't mean nothing to you I ain't go down the line and give a whole list of different illustrations.

30:43 The general point is if the blessing means something to you, then you'll be willing to change your patterns. They've got to change their patterns. Here it is. Last one. Last one. When you change, when you break your will, Thank you. Where does your will need to be broken?

31:10 When you change, when you break your pattern, what does your regimen need to look like every day? They have to start doing something different every day for a season of time, and then on the seventh day, they have to go around seven times. What is seven? Finish. Finish the assignment. Here it is. Here it is. God gives vision first and instruction second, because vision always leads. Provision always follows. sometimes you're talking about provision in vision slot you won't get started because you don't see the provision God's like it's not provision time yet I need you to get the vision right it make it plain get settled on it and then here it is scripture says that when you break your will You break your pattern Then you can break your wall They are marching New pattern Never done this before Every day, new regimen Come on Come on Willie Mae, come on Tuan, come on Come on Come on Some walls can't fall With you just marching by yourself You gotta get you some marching buddies get you some people with some faith get you some people who believe god get you some people who are willing to do something willing to enact they're marching around the wall here's what god told me that this blessed me there they're walking around the wall here's what god it doesn't make sense nothing is visibly happening day one still marching nothing is visibly happening day two still marching here it is nothing is visibly happening day three still marching here's what god told me we walk by faith and not by sight even when it don't look like nothing is happening you got to keep marching

33:22 You got to keep doing it. You got to keep doing it. You got to keep going. Even when it looks like things are the same. Even when it looks like your labor's in vain. Even when it looks like you're not getting any results. Tell somebody keep doing it. Keep doing it. Keep doing it. Keep doing it because we walk by faith. Here it is. Y'all see my steps? Y'all see my steps? Y'all see my steps? Here's the other thing God told me. Here's the other thing God told me. God told me that walls come down one step at a time. one step at a time. Sometimes, sometimes you won't get started because you think you got to take a big leap. There are big leap moments, but there are instances where one step at a time. Here is what God told me, baby steps.

34:10 Here's somebody telling them, take baby steps, take baby steps, take baby steps. You got to be willing to take a giant step to get started. They had to take a big step to step up to the wall. But then they had to be willing to take baby steps. Some of y'all financially is baby steps. Some of y'all spiritually is baby steps. Some of y'all relationally is baby steps. Some of y'all would work it's baby steps in the community. It's baby steps with your kids. It's baby steps with you learning how to pray is baby steps with with with you coming through a struggle. It's baby steps and they keep taking the steps. See, where the devil gets some of us is consistency. You got to keep doing it. And the scripture says they kept taking baby steps. And on the seventh day, they kept taking baby steps. And the scripture says that Joshua, he said, now when the trumpet sounds, I want y'all to shout. And the scripture says that on that seventh day after they walked around seven times, after they completed the assignment, after they were obedient to God, after they followed through, they broke their will, they broke their pattern and they followed the assignment and they finished.

35:24 And the scripture says they started blowing the horns. When they blew the horns, the people started shouting. And I want to say to somebody, when you do what God has told you to do, the next order of business is to praise him in advance. See, here's what you got to know. The walls didn't fall while they were walking. The walls started falling down when they started shouting under God. And I want to say to somebody, you ought to have the mindset that everything you went through to get to the blessing, everything you had to do, every struggle, every trial, every tribulation, every fight, every pain, you ought to praise God for making you able to do everything you needed to do to get to where you needed to be. You ought to praise him for keeping you. You ought to praise him for strengthening you. You ought to praise him for encouraging you.

36:18 Some of y'all got some blessings you never should have got, but God brought you through. He brought you over. He brought you around, and he made you able and empowered you and helped you to do what you could do, what you couldn't do by yourself. If it had not been for the Lord who was on my side, Some of y'all ought to have a praise party For the blessings that you got And for the power to go through What you went through to get to what you but when you get there some blessings are connected watch this to your acknowledgement of God see you can't just put it all on your steps you can't put it all on your phone calls you can't put it all on your intelligence you can't put it all on your hookups your relationships but God sometimes won't honor your faith until you pause to honor him and say it wasn't just me it wasn't just how great I am or how focused I am or how dynamic I am it wasn't by power it wasn't by might but it was by his spirit and I'm gonna give
