Because, this is so important, if the Father sent the Son to show us, we talk about this all the time, I don't know if this has gotten from your head to your heart yet. If the Father sent the Son to show us what the Father is like, then you can rest assured that the father weeps with you in your pain, regardless of your blame. And this is Jesus' point. If the father sent the son to represent the father, then you can know with certainty that God's circumstances are not an indicator of God's absence or God's silence, but you can live with the certainty that God and the assurance that God has entered into your pain with you because this is what the son did and the Father sent the Son to demonstrate his love and his compassion and his care for you and for me. And he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. Love has been perfected among us in this, that we may have boldness. Someone say boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. What a promise. Because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love him because he first loved us. If someone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. …
