And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

… he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him. That's our foundational verse. It is telling us that we can confidently and boldly go to God and talk to him and lay our burdens before the Lord and depend on him knowing that God will answer our prayers. Now, I think there are some people who know over the course of your life, you've seen God answer your prayers. You've seen God work a miracle. You've seen God do the impossible. You've seen God make a way out of no way. You've seen God make something happen that you thought would never happen in the course of your life. You know God has the capacity and the ability to do it. And he does. So, today I'm going to talk about the secrets, how to learn the secrets of praying for money. That's what today is. The secrets of learning to pray for money. …

… hear you. It's just that she doesn't have to. She doesn't have to do everything you ask. Look at 1 John 5, verse 15. This is powerful. The Bible says if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have what we ask of him. But verse 14 gives a condition. It says if we ask anything according to his will. He hears us, and this is the part we don't know, because we think this is always his will. What if this is too? Thank you so much. You don't know how much I needed that encouragement. I'm going to get your seat on the front row next week. All right? He says he heard me, and I can't really describe it to you like I want to, but another one of our songs says, I sought the Lord, and he answered, but there is a part that says, I sought the Lord, and he heard. The sermon is so hot, I'm dropping stuff up here. …

Because we were used by the Holy Spirit to accomplish God's eternal purposes. And if we know he hears us, whatever we ask, we know we have petitions. Verse 16, if anyone sees his brother sinning, a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask. And he will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. We know that whoever is born of God does not sin, but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. …

… on your own name and reputation. Here's number four. 1 John 5, verse 14 and 15. 1 John 5, verses 14 and 15. Now, this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him. Here's what this passage means. Here's what it's saying. If we ask anything according to his will, his will. See, sometimes God doesn't answer your prayer because it's not his will. And the reason we try to teach you the word is so that you'll know what God's will is. When you know what God's will is, you can ask it based on his will. But sometimes you're asking God for stuff that's not his will. Go ahead, look at that lady next to you. Say, God, I don't want you asking for somebody else's husband to be with you. That's not his will. …
