Know and understand this: From the issuance of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah, the Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of distress.“Know therefore and discern that from the going out of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the anointed one, the prince, shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: it shall be built again, with street and moat, even in troublous times.

… It doesn't start right now, Daniel, but here's when you can start counting. So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah, the Prince, there will be seven sevens and 62 sevens. 62 plus seven is what? 69. 69 weeks of years. 69 sevens. If you want to do the math on it, that's 483 years. In other words, God has this stopwatch. It has 490 at the top. He's going to press that stopwatch at some point in the future. What is that future? Whenever the decree goes out to rebuild Jerusalem. Did you know that actually happened in history? And we know the exact year. We know the exact month. We know the exact day from secular history when that happened. It is March the 14th, 445 BC. That's when the Persian ruler Artaxerxes Longimanus gave the decree to allow the Jews to return and to rebuild Jerusalem. Gabriel said that's when the stopwatch begins. From the time that decree goes out until Messiah the prince. There will be 483 years. What does that mean until Messiah the prince? Who was Messiah? …
… the anointed one Daniel chapter 9 verses 24 to 27 says you want to know how you identify Israel's Messiah yes tell us how well the big deal is he's going to be cut off for committing a capital offense and for that he dies what capital offense did Jesus commit You have to think this through. He's sinless. So how does this apply to him? Ah, why did they kill him? Why did they coerce? Listen, the whole trial, all the trials that went on that night, all of those trials were illegal. The Jews could not hold trial at night. It's against the law. And they are pressuring the Romans to go along with their nefarious plot. Doesn't the Bible say that they hired liars to testify against Jesus? What was going on? they this god is so amazing did not the bible tell us from old to new testament that the messiah would die for our sins think of isaiah 53 so how's the messiah going to die for our sins he's going to die for our sins but what about those who who rejected him did god make them reject him did god Did God condemn them so that they had to reject Jesus? …
… From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, I'll come back to that in a second. This is when it starts. The 70 weeks starts here. Until an anointed one, literally in Hebrew that is Messiah, the ruler, that gap will be seven weeks and then 62 weeks. Now, when do these 69 weeks, 62 plus 7, when do they start? They start with the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem. That decree was given by King Artaxerxes in 445 BC. That story is told in Nehemiah 2. We'll actually study it together next year. Starting at 445 BC, there will be seven weeks, roughly 49 years, which is how long, by the way, they say it took to rebuild Jerusalem. And then he says it will be followed by 62 more weeks. Now watch this, this will blow your mind. After those 69 weeks are over, Daniel 9.26 says, after the 62 weeks, the anointed one will be cut off. So seven weeks and 62 weeks equals 69 weeks. …
… this? It's amazing. The church has continued on the evangelistic work, but that's what the tribulation is for. That's what Daniel chapter 9 verses 24 to 27 is for. The tribulation period, look at it this way. It's the opportunity for the Jews to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth like they should have 2,000 years ago, but God nowhere says he replaces them. Nowhere. Nowhere. In fact, the book of Revelation does say, in the book of Revelation, letters to the seven churches, Jesus says that, and he condemns them who say they are Jews and are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan. there are people who are saying, we're the new Jews. The church has taken the place. Well, you're not a Jew. No, but we've taken the place of the Jew. Interesting. Jesus said, watch out for those who say they're Jews and are not. Wow. Yeah, when anybody brings it up, Romans 9, 10, 11. You can't read chapter 9 without reading 10 and 11. …
