Ed Young Jr., 2026-08-30

… at these excuses very, very quickly and run through them. This is God calling and check out what he's saying. Who am I? God, Exodus chapter three, verse 11. Exodus chapter four, verse 10. I've never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you've spoken to your servant. I'm slow of speech and tongue. Oh Lord. And God just let him talk. He let him, you know, sometimes you have to let those over talkers go. Exodus chapter four, verse 13. Oh Lord, please send someone else to do it. I love God's answer. Verse 12. Encountering the Eternal
Guest speaker, 2026-03-18

… Now, therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppressed them. Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt. But Moses said to God, Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt? So he said, I will certainly be with you, and this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you. When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain. Then Moses said to God, Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is his name? What shall I say to them? And God said to Moses, I am who I am. And he said, thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I am has sent me to you. …

… So, Moses, you go. Now I am sending you to Pharaoh, the most powerful person on earth, to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt. And Moses said to God, after all of that, who am I? Who am I? What? Pharaoh? Me? Hmm? Who am I? Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt? And, you know, God's kind of like, I don't know. I think I just said, I've seen, I have heard, I'm concerned, I've come down, I'm choosing you. I am going to do this. But Moses missed all that and said, who am I that I should go to Pharaoh? And I want you to look at the pep talk God gave him. And God said, I will be with you. Isn't that awesome? He didn't say, you know, come on, Moses. I'm going to send you to this self-improvement program. I'm going to pay for it. It's 12 sessions. You'll go there. You can get them online if you don't want to go. …

The Stuttering Man of Destiny
Dr. Oswald Hoffmann, 2025-08-16

… Come, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring forth my people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt. The man of destiny was not impressed. The streak of stubbornness which caused him to reject life as an Egyptian now made him extremely dubious of the divine destiny thrust upon him. Moses said to God, Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt? Almost as if surprised by the reluctance of the man picked for destiny, God replied, I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you that I have sent you. When you have brought forth the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God upon this mountain. Moses was not easily convinced. If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, the God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me, what is his name? What shall I say to them? The great God of heaven and earth identified himself. …

… So now go, I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt. But Moses said to God, who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt? And God said, I will be with you and this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you. When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on the mountain. Verse 13, Moses said to God, suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, the God of your fathers has sent me to you. And they ask, what is his name? I think it's a reasonable question to ask. Move It To The Middle
Steven Furtick, 2025-02-24

I believe there are many of us, maybe not all of us, who would find ourselves in a moment like that. And so today I want to continue that from Exodus chapter 3, verses 1 through 11. and all the bible school students already know who we're talking about today somebody say moses moses we grew up singing a song in church called pharaoh pharaoh oh baby let my people go and then if you really got into it you would go uh yeah yeah yeah yeah it was to the tune of louie louie i don't want to get a copyright strike on youtube so i won't sing it but we would do that Pharaoh, Pharaoh, oh baby, let my people go. And then everybody would go, uh. And a quick story, one time I was 17 years old, just getting started in ministry. And I was leading that for the youth. And one of the parents was really uptight and she walked in and she saw how I had all the kids going, uh. And she said, don't do that again. That's not a holy, that's not a holy gesture. …

The Book of Exodus (Part 1)
Francis Chan, 2017-01-20

… but I'm going to use you. You're going to deliver them. And so Moses, you know, says in verse 11, who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt? And God says, but I'll be with you. I'll be with you. And he goes on and reveals who he is, the I am. He goes, I'll be with you. That's his promise to Moses. Again, it's similar today. What what did Jesus say when he says, look, go. You're going to go. You're going to make disciples of all the nations and you're going to baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit. And I will be with you always, even to the end of the age. What's his promise? I've given you this task. You're going to go and you're going to teach people to obey everything that I've commanded. And you're going to get to the ends of the world. You're going to go to all the nations and I am going to be with you an impossible task but I am with you even to the end of the age and that's what he says to Moses you're going to go I mean think about his calling God is telling this one person I am going to send you to the most powerful army in the world and you're going to go there you're going to rescue this group of thousands and thousands and thousands of my people and you're …
