Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the tent of meeting. And anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp. And listen to this. And whenever Moses, this is Exodus 33, went out to the tent, all the people rose and stood at the entrance of their tent. So everyone in the camp would see Moses go out to the tent. and when he would go to the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance while the Lord spoke with Moses and whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, they all stood and worshiped each at the entrance of their tent. And whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people rose and stood at the entrances to their tents, watching Moses until he entered the tent. As Moses went into the tent, hello, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance while the Lord spoke with Moses. Pillar of cloud by day, fire by night. That's how these people are moving through the wilderness. God is saying, I'm before you. I'm behind you. I'm with you. I've got a future for you. They're rebelling the whole time. They're complaining the whole time. They're not getting it the whole time, but he's still in there with them. Cloud by day, fire by night. But the cloud would move onto the tent when Moses went in it. And it says that when the Lord spoke to Moses and all the people saw the pillar of the cloud standing at the entrance of the tent. …
