I will attach tendons to you and make flesh grow upon you and cover you with skin. I will put breath within you so that you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”’”And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

I Just Need A Second Wind - Dr. Oscar Williams
Dr. Oscar Williams, 2026-07-12 · Scripture reading

… surely I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you cover you with skin and put breath in you and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as he told me. And as I prophesied, there was a noise and suddenly a rattling, and the bones started coming together. Just tell your neighbor, coming together, it's coming together, it's coming together, bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them and the skin covered them. But there was a problem. There was no breath in them. So he said to me, prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, thus says the Lord God, come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded, and breath came into them, and they lived and stood up upon their feet an exceedingly great army. …

A Missional Awakening
David Platt, 2025-12-10

… dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. This is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones. I will make breath enter these bones and enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin. I will put breath in you, and you will come to life, then you will know that I am the Lord. The picture here is a valley of dry bones, of deadness, and symbolic of God saying, I'm going to breathe life into that. And so that's what he does in the next few verses, then come down to verse 12. I will bring you back to the land of Israel, then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord when I open your graves, take your deadness, basically, and bring you up from them, and I will, check this out, put my spirit in you, and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord. So the first thing the Holy Spirit's enabling us to do in Acts chapter 2 is to experience God's presence. All throughout the Old Testament, at different points, we see the Spirit of God coming upon people, but he didn't stay upon them. He would …

… computers and right in this space right now so let us get ready for a word from the Lord. We'll be reading from Ezekiel chapter 37 verses 1 through 14 and it reads the hand of the Lord came upon me and he brought me out by the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of a valley. It was full of bones. He led me all around them. There were very many lying in the valley and they were very dry. He said to me, mortal, can these bones live? I answered, oh Lord God, you know. Then he said to me, prophesy to these bones and say to them, oh dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones, I will cause breath to enter you and you shall live. I will lay sea news on you and will cause flesh to come upon you and cover you with skin and put breath in you and you shall live and you shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I had been commanded and as I prophesied suddenly there was a noise, a rattling and the bones came together bone to its bone and I looked and there were sinews on them and flesh had come upon them and skin had covered them, but there was no breath in them. …
