… Matters of dispute and matters of doctrine. Galatians chapter 1, verse 8 and 9. When the gospel is not being preached in the church, who's accountable? Yes, in one sense the leader is, but Galatians chapter 1 says if the gospel is not being preached in the church, the church is accountable for not rising up and addressing that. You're accountable. If I'm not teaching that which is the Word of Christ, then you are accountable for addressing that according to Scripture. In matters of dispute, doctrine, and in matters of discipline. It's what we've studied for three weeks on church discipline. Matthew 18, final step. Tell it to the elders? No. Tell it to a small group of leaders? No. Tell it to the what? The church. 1 Corinthians 5. It is the church that is responsible for removing that brother, an unrepentant brother, from membership. It's the church that is accountable for all of those things. If it's new, it's not true. If it's true, it's not new. We don't need a new way. We don't need a new age. We are already in what was ushered in, the kingdom of God, this new understanding, new power that Jesus gave us to live out what the old thing is from the beginning. And the same is true with Ouija boards and tarot cards and palm reading and seances and any of these witchcraft to think about the signs of the zodiac or psilocybin or any of these drugs to expand our minds. I mean, I was reading Will Smith's biography, and he talked about taking hallucinogenic drugs and seeing a bright light that told him everything's OK. This is literally what we are warned about. These are demons who are trying to drag people into hell. …
