wow look at that wow look at that real quick I gotta teach it but look at that God immediately is connecting his dysfunction to his disobedience Thank you. He doesn't even litigate all of the confusion. He's saying there's a one-stop shop for your confusion, and it's disobedience. and your disobedience has opened now a Pandora's box, and more specifically, not just your disobedience, but your disobedience to the word I spoke. then the man said it gets even more dysfunctional then the man said the woman who you gave to be with me now he's blaming the lord he's so dysfunctional he is now accusing god of being dysfunctional it was a bad idea god you giving me that woman was a terrible idea god you ought to be look at how crazy we get how insane we get when we disconnect from the word. Somehow Satan will use it. Are you tracking with me? When Eve talks to the serpent, she doesn't say, oh my gosh, you know this Garden of Eden is just nothing but full of surprises. Here's a talking snake. Don't you think she would have freaked out with the snakes talking? Why didn't she freak out? When the snake spoke and Satan was using its mouth or talking through it or possessing it or whatever, why didn't she freak out? I'm asking you. I'm just asking. You would have thought she freaked out. It should have said that when the snake spoke to her, she ran. …
… You know, snake is actually one of the first animals ever specifically mentioned in the Bible. Genesis 3, verse 1, we're introduced to a serpent. And it says this, and I want you just to read it, not just what you know, but as if this was the first time you're reading it. Now, the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And we know the story goes on. But if you take this, there's a comparison to all the animals that God created. There was one that was more cunning. Now, that word cunning is usually, it has a negative connotation. I want you to understand that the word cunning here in Genesis 3, though it can be used in a negative light, it means crafty, discerning, sensible. Actually means skillful. It is the word that when you read through the Proverbs and it says, talks about the prudent man, it actually uses that same word, the cunning man. It sounds weird because of what we know about the word cunning in English. …

But the serpent said to the woman you will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you'll be like God, knowing good and evil. In other words, don't believe God's word and don't obey it because you know better than God. …

And he said to the woman, did God really say you must not eat from any tree in the garden? And the woman said to the serpent, we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden from Trader Joe's, but God did say you must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden and you must not touch it or you will die. You will not certainly die. The serpent said to the woman, for God knows that when you eat from it, your eyes will be open and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye and desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and she ate it. Y'all see that right there? Now that's important. Let me pause for a moment. She clearly knew what God has said to Adam. And the reason she knew it is because Adam told her. she was not there when God told Adam she wasn't there so God told Adam and Adam told Eve now that's an important point because what that teaches me and what we ought to learn is that it's the man's responsibility for teaching his family God shows you something you teach it to your family that's important it's very important that men you don't have to be a brilliant person You don't have to be smart. …
