Flooded By Grace | The Garden, The Flood & The Promise | Chad Veach
Chad Veach, 2025-05-19 · Scripture reading

Verse eight, last verse, but Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. I want to preach a message today. Write down the title. It's called Flooded with Grace. And I just want to encourage you today that you are sinking in the grace and the blessing and the strength of God today. That God is not going to flood you with anything but his best because of the future deliverance that he sent through his son, Jesus. Clap if you're thankful today, that you're flooded. Come on. This is the second service now. Come on. Flooded with grace. I like that. Flooded with grace. God saw how evil, God saw how wild the world had become. God saw that every thought that the man had was wrong and bad and against his ways. In fact, write down point number one, the world had gone wild. The world, the whole world had gone wild. … I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and the birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I made them. I mean, understand that God is not just this machine up there that feels nothing. We were created in his image. And so here he's grieved that he ever made man. But then it's also shocking that the Lord says, you know what? I'm just going to blot them all out. I'm going to destroy them all. I'm going to destroy them with a flood. I'm going to kill everyone except for Noah. Except for Noah and his family. but everyone else I'm going to blot out with a flood. Now, when I say this is strange, for us, our definition of strange is, that's not what I would have done. …

… than you do in Noah's ark. Genesis chapter 6 and verse 8, But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Look, if you will, in verse 18, but with thee will I establish my covenant, and thou shalt come into the ark, thou and thy sons and thy wife and thy sons' wives with thee. Now, I love, and if you want to put a scripture by this, just put Romans chapter 3, verse 22 by this, where Romans 3, verse 22 says that we are justified freely by His grace. We are justified freely by His grace. The only way that anybody has ever been saved in the history of the world is by grace. Do you agree to that? I hope you will. God only has one plan of salvation from beginning to end, and that is grace. What is grace? What is grace? That means that God just saves us apart from any works of our own by any effort, by any good deeds. You're not saved by keeping the Ten Commandments. …

… Now, look at it again. Genesis chapter 6 and verse 8, But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. You're not saved by keeping the Ten Commandments. You're not saved by giving your money. You're not saved by being a good boy or girl. You're not saved by the sweat of your brow, but by the grace of Almighty God. Grace, G-R-A-C-E, just simply means God's riches at Christ's expense. It's by grace, folks, that you're saved. By grace. …
