Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.

Tranquil Words for Troubled Hearts │ Msg 13/14
Chuck Swindoll, 2026-07-07 · Scripture reading

… to get you ready. Now, he said to his men, now you know where I'm going. Thomas said, no, we don't. That's verse five. We don't know the way. We don't know where you're going and how can we know the way? Thomas didn't know. He was honest Thomas. He wasn't doubting. He was honest. He said, we don't know where you're going. He honestly didn't know. So the Lord said to him that historic statement, I'm the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but through me. Christianity has often been criticized because it is bigoted and narrow and rigid. No, it's just as Jesus said it. If a human being on earth wants to go to the Father in heaven, he's got to go one way through Jesus Christ. Without him, there is no going. Without the life, there is no living. Without the truth, there's no knowing. It must be through Jesus Christ. If you're planning on heaven as your eternal abode, there's one way to get there, and that's through the cross, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Well, this created another question in Philip's mind. …

Mike Schmitz, 2026-05-09 · Scripture reading

… and you are in me and I in you. Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him. The Gospel of the Lord. let you have a seat so um we just had our last week of finals last weekend last week and i was just thinking i was you know in those in those times i sometimes reflect on man why did i choose to go to school where i went to school like they just got done a lot of our graduates just graduated now they're off wherever um and i think wow i i chose to go to the school i went to for a very particular reason. So I've mentioned many, many times that in high school I had a conversion. I had an encounter with Jesus in confession that just really changed my life. And that kind of set my life on this track of just wanting to learn more about who God is. And at one point, I heard today's second reading. And I was like, that's what I need. So what does St. Peter say? …

Can You See Him?
John K. Jenkins Sr., 2025-09-08

… Thank you. here's the principle verse 21 he who has my commandments and keeps them it is he who loves me and he who loves me will be loved by my father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him. Here's the principle that I want you to see, that God will do something spectacular for certain people. Who are those people? Here's the principle. He who loves him. He who loves me. As a matter of fact, he says it twice in scripture. As a matter of fact, if you look down through these verses I'm going to be reading, on seven occasions in this 14th chapter of John, seven times Jesus talks about the importance of loving him. And that's what his point is. He says, I want to find the people who love me. Now, here's the truth. Most of y'all don't love Jesus. You like him. If you can't say amen, say ouch. Yeah, if the truth be told, you don't really love Jesus. …

Hearers and Doers (James 1:19-25)
John MacArthur, 2023-08-20

… do believe in Him hear His Word. That is the distinguishing mark. Again in chapter 14, verse 21. This is our Lord speaking to the disciples, He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. That is a very clear statement. He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose myself to him." Down in verse 23, Jesus answered and said to him, "'If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.'" Verse 24, "'He who does not love Me does not keep My words, and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me.'" This is the distinguishing mark of a true believer. In the 15th chapter and verse 7 of the Gospel of John, If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. …
