In that day you will no longer ask Me anything. Truly, truly, I tell you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.“In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.And in that day ye shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If ye shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it you in my name.

When You Pray, Heaven Comes
Bill Johnson, 2026-05-17

… he said in that day you will ask me nothing most assuredly I say whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you think about this I'm not saying it's incorrect to pray to Jesus I'm just Jesus made a point here in that day you won't come to me and ask me for anything. In that day, you will ask the Father, and whatever you ask for, he will give you. What's the difference? There's a difference between coming to the Savior, where your identity is, a sinner saved by grace, and coming to a Father, where your identity is a son or daughter. our prayers change with our identity. Maybe, I don't know if we have it on the screen or not, but it's on page eight, and I called it just Experiment 101A, and I'll try to read it. My eyes are all messed up tonight, but I'll put it this way. I'm about to give you an exhortation. You guys know what an exhortation is? It's an uplifting... spank. It's an uplifting smack. It's kind of like, you can do this. And it's this. …

Becoming Lovers
Francis Chan, 2017-09-24

… At the end of that passage, though, he says, you didn't choose me, but I chose you and appointed you. They should go and bear fruit, that your fruit should abide so that whatever you ask the father in my name, he will give you. He's whatever you ask me in the father's name, in my name, the father will give you. Wherever you ask the father in my name, the father will give you. He'll give it to you like there's power in this prayer. And here's what I want to do. I want to get some of the leaders down here. So if some of the pastors and maybe women's leadership, if you would just just kind of line up, maybe a group over there behind that speaker and a group behind this speaker. So like stand up and walk down. There you go. Like some of the women's leadership to, you know, here's what I want to do. So I didn't prep you guys for this, but hopefully you know how to pray. …
