For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Listen to the words of Christ, the resolve of Jesus. This is the will of him who sent me. This is Jesus speaking. That I shall lose none of all he has given me, but raise them up on the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life. and I will raise him up on the last. Christ has no doubt neither should we In the spring of 2026, Nick Norris, within a span of 24 hours, climbed the highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland. And he did so in honor of his daughter, Zoe. Zoe died in 2017 three months shy of her second birthday and in her memory and to her honor he took on this quest and he did more than carry her in his heart he carried the weight of her when she died she weighed 22 pounds so he had a weighted vest made that weighed 22 pounds so that with each step it was as if he was carrying her. The Intolerant Christ – Part 1

… ever tied eternal life to what you believed about that leader, but Jesus did. In the passage we read just a few moments ago, John 6 verse 40, Jesus said, for this is the will of my father, that everyone who beholds the son and believes in him has eternal life. And I myself will raise him up on the last day. Jesus said, if you want to have eternal life, you must believe in me. But what about those who don't believe in him? Listen to what Jesus said to the Pharisees, The righteous followers of God in John 8, 24, I said therefore to you that you shall die in your sins for unless you believe that I am he, you shall die in your sins. Will you notice here, folks, Jesus doesn't offer eternal life to everyone who is sincerely seeking the truth. Jesus doesn't say, whoever follows the God of his or her own choosing has eternal life. No, he says very clearly, only those who believe in me have eternal life. …

The True Bread From Heaven - Grant Partrick
Grant Partrick, 2025-12-22

… for I've come down from heaven not to do my will, but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me that I shall lose none of all those who he has given to me, but raise them up on the last day. This is our hope for my father's will is that everyone who looks to the son and believes in him shall have eternal life and will, and I will raise them up on the last day. And at this, the Jews began to grumble. I don't think they began. I think they just continued to grumble about him saying, this guy keeps saying he's the bread that came down from heaven. Isn't this Jesus, son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can you say I've come down from heaven? They're going, this is Jesus? He's saying he's not from heaven, he's from Nazareth. And Jesus says, stop grumbling among yourself. No one can come to me unless the father who sent me draws them and I will raise them up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, they will all be taught by God. Everyone who has heard the father and learned from him comes to me. No one has seen the father except the one who was from God. Only he has seen the father. Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate manna in the wilderness …

The Sin God Never Forgives (Mark 3:20-35)
John MacArthur, 2023-05-14

… Well, I think a good place to start in understanding the will of God, I'll just give you one text on this, John 6, verse 40, "'For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life.'" Okay? This is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life." That's the will of the Father. So those who believe in Him as the Son of God are doing the will of God, and they are members of His spiritual family. Jesus has a forever family of those who believe in Him and have received eternal life. Mary surely had that relationship, but Jesus' siblings did not. John 7, 5 says His brothers did not believe in Him. Months later, if you look at Acts chapter 1 and verse 14, you read this. This is in the upper room just before the day of Pentecost. Verse 14, they were all with one mind, continually devoting themselves to prayer, that's the apostles, along with the women, and Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. …

… no means cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. And this is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me, I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day." The Jews then complained about him because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. They said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that he says, I have come down from heaven? Jesus therefore had answered and said to them, Do not murmur among yourselves. No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. …
