… the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses, my servant, commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left that you may prosper wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid nor be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. I would just, if nothing else out of tonight, I would encourage you to take these five verses or so and if not put them to memory, at least mark them in your Bible and review them somewhat frequently. …

God's Power Is Limitless | Victoria Osteen
Victoria Osteen, 2026-09-12

… This is the key if your dreams or your situations look impossible today and we're going to get this key from Joshua 1 7. This is exactly what God told Joshua. It looks impossible. It's going to be difficult. You're going to run into some challenges, but this is the key to your success, Joshua. He said, don't let this law depart from your eyes. Stay focused on it. Keep it right in front of you. Don't look to the left. Don't look to the right. Don't look at the enemies. Don't look at the giants. You keep your eyes fixed on the law of the Lord. Meditating on it. What he was saying was you've got to be single-minded when it comes to the things of God. If you're going to climb that next mountain, you've got to be single-minded. You can't look at the obstacles. You've got to look at the power of the living God. Let's set our eyes on God. Let's quit looking at the things that would try to distract us, cause fear in our life. Let's quit reasoning out all the reasons we can't, and let's start factoring in all the reasons we can. We serve a limitless God, a supernatural God. Let's don't go by our natural sight or our natural reasoning. Let's be bold and courageous like Joshua and Caleb were. That's how the Bible described them. That's how you break a limited mindset. You become bold and courageous and you say, I'm going to take it for you, God. You're going with me and I'm all …

… Be strong and courageous because you will lead these people to inherit the land. I swore to their ancestors to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you. Be careful to, can you say it with me, to what? Obey. Be careful to do what? To obey all the law, all the law my servant Moses gave to you. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this book of the law always on your lips, meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged. Here's the underlining thought again, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Be careful to obey all the law. It's interesting that if you go and just go and Google it and look at the journey the Israelites went on when they were delivered out of Egypt and they went into what is now Saudi Arabia, and they're out in a desert for 40 years, part of the place they went through is actually called the wilderness of sin. Not sin as though I disobeyed God, but that was just the name of it. They're going through the wilderness of sin. Why? Because they weren't willing to obey …

… just trying to see. All right. We're talking about the word of God now, okay? So the word of God, in this case, the law which Moses, my servant, commanded you, do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. Please notice prosperity and success are biblical terms. We just can't let Wall Street's definition affect our position, because real prosperity starts on the inside. So the target of the Lord is he wants everybody in this room to be ridiculously prosperous, but his target is the inner world. It's my emotional and mental health. All right. Verse eight, the book, this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you will meditate on it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. Then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have success. Then you will make your way prosperous. I thought the Lord did it. No, he gave you the tools. …

… only be strong very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night. See if you keep it in your mouth, you'll think about it. if you'll declare it it'll capture your thought life the book of the law shall not depart from your mouth you shall meditate on it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it for then you will make your way prosperous and you will have good success whose responsibility whose responsibility is it to be prosperous that sounded like a trick question I know I wouldn't trust me if I were you either I would I would just sit there and let your neighbor look like a fool but not you that's the way I would do it he says, then you will make your way prosperous. And then you will have good success. What is he saying here? The Lord is saying, the Lord is saying that you and I have responsibility to make sure that our own way becomes prosperous and blessed. How? Identify the enemies. What are the enemies? What are the enemies to your own emotion? What happens when we get distracted by by accusation, by problems, by fears, our emotional real estate gets spent on trying to solve …
