When we heard this, our hearts melted and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the LORD your God is God in the heavens above and on the earth below. As soon as we had heard it, our hearts melted, and there wasn’t any more spirit in any man, because of you: for Yahweh your God, he is God in heaven above, and on earth beneath. And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. And as soon as we had heard it, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more spirit in any man, because of you: for Jehovah your God, he is God in heaven above, and on earth beneath.

And even though they were still on the other side of the Jordan, she knew their destruction was all but guaranteed. She realized that she in her own ability had no capacity or no ability to save herself. And that God's judgment was coming on the people of Jericho. And so what she's realizing, she says, our hearts are melting in fear. God's destruction and God's judgment is coming. And what we've been hoping for isn't able to save us. She said, what I'm realizing in this moment is my God's not God. …

But the people in the land heard that God dried up the sea so that they could be delivered from Egypt, and they were afraid already of the people of God. So is it possible today that you and I are paralyzed by fear from stepping into the promise, but the enemy in the promised land already knows that your God is God?
