… but Joshua had commanded verse 10 the army do not give a war cry do not raise your voices do not say a word until the day I tell you to shout then shout so he had the ark of the Lord carried around the city circling it once then the army returned to camp and spent the night there Joshua got up early the next morning and the priest took up the ark of the Lord the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets went forward, marching before the ark of the Lord and blowing the trumpets. The armed men went ahead of them and the rear guard followed the ark of the Lord while the trumpets kept sounding. So on the second day, they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. They did this for six days. And here comes the good part. Verse 15. On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day, they circled the city seven times. The seventh time around when the priest sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, shout for the Lord has given you the city. Yeah, that's all right too. Shout for the Lord has given you the city and drop down to verse 20, when the trumpet sounded, the army shouted. And at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall came down. Worship is Our Weapon - Dan Watson
Dan Watson, 2026-03-03 · Scripture reading

… God has said. And so in verses six and seven, Joshua tells the man, hey, go and do this. Go and get the trumpets, go and get the ark of the Lord and obey. And today you could be staring at a wall while ignoring what God has already spoken to you about. And so he walks in obedience, but then grab this. This is one piece I love as I read this scripture. He walks in the word and he walks in God's presence. He walks in the word and he walks in the presence. Verse six and seven tells Joshua, summoned the priest and said, take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord. Grab this, the ark goes first. The ark goes first. Give you context of the ark. I think we talked about it before, but the ark represented the throne of God among his people. And inside of it were the tablets of the law. They were there. That was the word of God. …

… Then you are to shout. So the ark of the Lord was carried around the city, circling it once. They returned to the camp and spent the night there. Joshua got up early the next morning. The priests took the ark of the Lord and the seven priests carrying seven ram's horns marched in front of the ark of the Lord. While the ram's horns were blowing, the armed men went in front of them and the rear guard went behind the ark of the Lord. on the second day, they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. They did this for six days. We doing okay? Making our way through, almost through. Here we go. Early on the seventh day, they started at dawn and marched around the city seven times in the same way. That was the only day they marched around the city seven times, and after the seventh time, the priest blew the ram's horns, and Joshua said to the troops, shout, for the Lord has given you the city. …

… noise with your voice, nor shall a word proceed out of your mouth until the day I say to you, shout. Then you shall shout. So he had the Ark of the Lord circled the city, going around it once, then they came into the camp and lodged in the camp. That's what they did one time each day, six days. So Joshua rose early in the morning and the priest took up the Ark of the Lord. Keep going. Then seven priests bearing seven trumpets of ram's horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually and blew with the trumpets. And the armed men went before them, but the rear guard came after the ark of the Lord while the priests continued. Keep going. Blowing the trumpet. Keep going. And the second day they marched around the city once and returned to camp. So they did six days. days. But I love when God sticks his butt in my situation. It came to pass on the seventh day that they rose early about the dawning of the day and marched around the city seven times in the same manner. On that day, only they marched around the city seven times. …
