But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many! But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. But not as the trespass, so also is the free gift. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound unto the many.

What should we say then? Should we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means. We died to sin. How can we live in it any longer? Don't you know that all of us were baptized into Christ Jesus, were baptized into his death. We were therefore buried with him through baptism in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead, we too may live a new life. If we've been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection. For we know that our old self was crucified with him, that the body of sin will be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin, because anyone who's died has been freed from sin. Now, if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him, because we know since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again. Death no longer has mastery over him. …
… and i have no idea and i'm looking but nobody seems like they really want that the gift is not like the trespass for if the many died by the trespass of the one man how cool is this? How much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many? So if by Adam and Eve's sin coming down, that doesn't seem very fair, how fair does this seem? That when Jesus Christ gave his innocent life on a cross to pay for sin, God forgave everyone who put their trust in him. Does that feel fair? No. It is the gift through grace of God. And that's the beauty of the good news. Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man's sin. The judgment followed one sin, are you still with me? And brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses all of our sins and brought justification. So one sin brought death, one life brought forgiveness for all sins. For if by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive, uh-oh, new word, hello, who receive God's abundant provision of grace and the gift of righteousness, how much more will they reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ what in the world is happening people we are justified by his blood and we receive the gift wow of righteousness how do you …
“Not as the offence, so also is the free gift.” 1. How exceeding common, and how bitter, is the outcry against our first parent for the mischief which he not only brought upon himself, but entailed upon his latest posterity! It was by his wilful rebellion against God that “sin entered into the world.” “By one man’s disobedience,” as the Apostle observes, the many, hoi polloi, as many as were then in the loins of their forefather, were made, or constituted, sinners: Not only deprived of the favour of God, but also of this image, of all virtue, righteousness, and true holiness; and sunk, partly into the image of the devil, in pride, malice, and all other diabolical tempers ; partly into the image of the brute, being fallen under the dominion of brutal passions and grovelling appetites. hence also death entered into the world, with all his forerunners and attendants, pain, sickness, and a whole train of uneasy, as well as unholy passions and tempers. 2. For all this we may thank Adam, has echoed down from generation to generation. The self-same charge has been repeated in every age and every nation, where the oracles of God are known; in which alone this grand and important event has been discovered to the children of men. has not your heart, and probably your lips too, joined in the general charge? how few are there of those who believe the scriptural relation of the fall of man that have not entertained the same thought concerning our first parent; severely condemning him that, through wilful disobedience to the sole command of his Creator, …
