2:29 verse 2 through 6 where we will deliberate over the word of God in the hopes of extrapolating some truth that would be relevant to where you are at this moment and at this time in your life. And not only are we concerned about the relevance of the word of God, but we're also seeking the revelation that comes out of his word. That the contour of the word would be shaped around our circumstances in such a way that the enemy could not penetrate the word of God that I'm enraptured in encapsulated in his word a thousand may fall at my right side ten thousand may fall at my left side but it shall not come nigh me I know who I am tonight do you know who you are tonight Oh my God, I feel something in this place already.
3:31 I've been waiting on y'all. You've been waiting on me. But we're bound to have a time tonight. I'm wondering tonight, beneath our expectation and our jubilation and our excitement, when the service is over and we go into normalcy, the Bible focuses on special moments but says little about normal moments it shows us the peaks and says almost nothing about the valleys it shows us the hardships and even the miracles but I'm talking about the days of nothingness the bland days the nebulous indescript days that pass leaving you only wrestling with how you feel when something happens you have to wrestle with what happens no matter how do you make it when nothing is happening and you are left to face yourself Truth of the matter is, we are complicated species.
4:55 Even science says we're not simple organisms. We're not just mundane mammals. We are complex species. And our life is complex. So most of the time we develop Christian colloquialisms to hide the complexity of who we are. so we start saying I'm blessed in the Lord thank God in you yeah yeah I'm too blessed to be stressed but let's strip past all of that camouflage tonight and get down to where you are because God wants to do some surgery he wants to go into some deep places and you don't have to tell your business tonight. In fact, I recommend that you go.
5:49 but just touch somebody and say, I'm complicated. I'm complicated. You can't be my friend in a week because I'm complicated. You can't know me in three days because I'm complicated. You can't judge me by my suit because I'm complicated. You can't judge me by my blue jacket because I'm complicated. It takes time to know me. You got to see me in winter and spring and summer and fall and see me when I'm happy and when I'm not happy and when I'm up and when I'm down. And then maybe then you begin to draw some concept of who I am.
6:30 Hebrews 12, 2 says, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Notice carefully now, the author and finisher of our faith is a bookend understanding of who God is. The author starts it, the finisher ends it, but it says nothing about the middle. He is alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. but it says nothing about in between. And where we need the faith the most is to explain the variances and the circumstances and the mundane situations, the mood swings, the moments of disparity, not the hot moments when you feel saved.
7:37 I want to talk to you about the days when you don't feel him how many folk have days you don't feel him and you find yourself like Job I looked for him and I couldn't find him I looked on the left side and he was not there I looked on the right and he worked on the left side but I perceived him not I don't know where are you God Where are you when the storm hits me? Where are you, God? The author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him, look at the contrast now. The joy that was set before him endured the cross. Two conflicting concepts cohabitating in the same sentence. the joy that was set before him is followed up by enduring the cross despising the shame all in the same sentence you got something i'm happy about and something i'm despising and it's all happening in one person and it says when you look at jesus you can't just look at the part that he despises and not understand the joy that was set before him gave him the grace to endure the despising issues of the cross. Not the nails, not the nails. The shame.
9:09 Not the sword, the shame, the emotional complexities of being who he was put him in a situation that he who walked the waters now stands naked before his disciples. in the face of his mother they stripped him of his apparel and the only thing covered him was the blood that dripped down from his head it's complicated it's complicated that he could have joy and pain at the same time I was going through something a while ago some couple of years ago and somebody asked me how I felt. I said, well, I'm happy and I'm sad and I'm a little bit mad and I'm sort of glad and I'm kind of confused and I'm standing on the word and I'm troubled because I can't see God. But every now and then I feel God. I said, how much time you got for me to explain it?
10:14 Because it's going to take me a while to explain how I feel because my feelings are so complicated that they don't go in the straight line that church folk want to talk about. Church folks talk in straight lines, but my life has a topography. my life has uprisings and down settings and by the time I said all that day it walked off because people people really don't want to know how you're doing they're just trying to say hi have you ever noticed that the people who ask you how you're doing don't wait for an answer despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God spring your mind out and consider him consider him contemplate him focus on him that endured that endured without relief without an answer without a miracle he endured such contradiction the contradiction of sinners against himself and the reason i want you to consider that about him is that you might be able to get some barometer on where you are so that you don't become weary and faint in your mind so that you don't allow the enemy to tell you that if you were really saved you wouldn't feel this way so so so so so so so that you don't allow that other voice on that other shoulder to perpetuate itself in such a way that you begin to question am i in the will of god or not because if i was in the will of God, surely this wouldn't happen. Let me tell you, you can be in the will of God and be bleeding.
12:18 you can be in the will of God and be stabbed we don't talk about this stuff you can be in the will of God and be wounded you can be in the will of God and be hemorrhaging the will of God does not protect you from the vicissitudes of life comes wherever it wants to come it does whatever it wants to do and you have to trust him the bible says I want to warn you that you don't become weary because if you're not careful life without demons life without witchcraft life without sorcery if you're not careful just life being life life life and life and life's in your life will wear you out till you're tired but i'm not talking about the tide where you need a good night's sleep i'm talking about the tide where you wake up tired come on talk to me somebody where you lay down tired i'm talking about the kind of tide where you wake up in the middle of the night and you're tired and you ain't the 30 but you wore out like you're 75. I'm talking about the kind of tired that makes your back hurt and your knee gets out of joint and you're 25. I'm talking about the kind of tired that doesn't make any sense.
13:42 He says the antidote for being weary is looking unto Jesus. I often worry about us going to heaven. Because I think heaven is going to be embarrassing for us. I don't want to stand beside apostles who were thrown in the snake pits and crucified upside down and sawn asunder. And when it comes to me, I say, they was talking about me like a dog. It just sounds a little bit embarrassing to me that what we call trotto today is not worthy to be compared with our predecessors, all that they went through and endured.
14:32 Hallelujah. Look at somebody and holler at them saying, do it! Endure it. Endure it. Don't quit. Endure it. Don't walk away. Endure it. Don't put the child out. Endure it. Don't let the bad times disrupt you. Endure it. And my concern is, I know there's a point where you got to let go of anything if it gets bad enough, But my concern is we let go so easy. because we were taught to name it claim it grab it and possess it but when they were teaching that they never taught us to endure it verse 4 ye have not yet resisted under blood striving against sin.
15:38 He said, you have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. In fact, you may be praying for things that you're not willing to pay for. and then talking charging God foolishly as if he didn't answer a request that you didn't strive hard enough to be able to get and you cannot have a bloody savior who told you to take up your cross and follow him and you think the cross is decoration take it off your neck and put it on your back and bleed a little bit. My God, my God, my God, my God, my God, you got it all for decoration, ectus on the back of your car, but no power in the back of your soul. Endure some things striving against sin. We don't teach that kind of stuff anymore, so we don't get revival.
16:42 you can't get revival without repentance you can have church you can raise an offering you can have a good time but if you want real revival it comes after repentance when people are laying on the altar with tears running down their face saying I'd rather have Jesus than houses of land or silver or gold and my soul cries out I'm sick of myself I'm sick of myself I'm sick of my ways I'm sick of my mouth I'm sick of my temper I'm sick of my hand to God O wretched man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death and ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children then he brings you in real close and sets you on his lap and says, my son,
17:44 how wonderful to be a son of God. How nice to know that I am his son. Now, smile because that means I'm not bastardized. I'm legitimized. I am his son. I belong to him. Satan, you can't do just anything to me because I am his son. I am a child of God. The Bible says this one woman came to him and said, I am a daughter of Abraham. Knowing your pedigree and your background is sometimes the only reason you get the blessing. It's not because you resisted so well, but knowing the lineage that you come from, sometimes God will give you a blessing on credit.
18:35 How? Is there anybody in here that got a blessing on credit? You know you weren't supposed to be that blessed. You know you weren't supposed to be that blessed. But God blessed you. And he said, my son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him. Oh, I didn't know he was going to do that. for whom the Lord loveth, whom the Lord loveth, whom the Lord clutches, whom the Lord heals, whom the Lord revives, whom the Lord raises from the dead, whom the Lord heals, he whom the Lord have set free, he whom the Lord loveth, he also chasteneth and scourgeth that every son, that means you, look at somebody and say, that means you. Don't you be standing there with your teeth all in your mouth like he's not talking to you. He said every son, he scourges every son he scourges every son that's why i i i'm not so crazy about we used to have testimony service i'm not so crazy about testimony service because it ended up being live money service because we never really got down to really telling people about the scourging we told them about the successes we told them about the victory we told them about the knowing But sometimes we wasn't really testifying.
20:12 We were just a lying. Because the truth of the matter is we were being scourged. He scourges every son whom he receiveth. My God. That means out of glory and tribulation. I ought to get happy when all hell is breaking loose. I ought to get to shouting in the middle of a whipping. I ought to get glad that you didn't let me do what you let everybody else do I ought to be glad that you snatched me back in I ought to be glad when I'm lonely in the middle of the night I ought to be glad in a hotel room tossing back and forth in the bed I ought to be glad that you're discouraging me Scourging me You Spanked me You whipped me.
21:13 Jesus was smitten of God. Consider Jesus. The next time you get ready to complain about your life. just consider Jesus three things I want to talk to you about tonight I want you to jot these three things down I'm going to say this and I'm going to be out your way I want to talk to you about conflicts contradictions and Christology conflicts contradictions and Christology Spirit of the living God Fall fresh on us because we're living in a conflicted age and every time we try to do something for you we are attacked in ways that create contradictions Sometimes I'm afraid.
22:25 that we understand pneumatology better than we do Christology. That we argue about eschatology, but we have not fully embraced Christology. And I know I'm right, Lord, because he who stood in the midst of seven golden candlesticks ends up standing outside of the whole organized religion knocking at the door. Saying if any man hear my voice. How did you get outside when you started out in the midst of us? The dwell amongst us God. Is now in the front yard hauling in the window. If any man hear my voice. and open up the door. I will come in and sup with him.
23:23 I don't have to have the whole church. Ain't no need of you leaving churches. The church is not the problem. It's up to you. He said, if any one person hear my voice, I'll come in and sup with him. I shall be his God. And he shall be my people. And if your word is true, let it be crystallized as it's being taught tonight. In the name of Jesus, we pray.
23:54 Amen. You may be seated. Yeah. Contradictions. How can I be alpha and omega? How can I be the beginning and the end? How can I be the first and still be the last? How can I be present in yesterday and forevermore simultaneously?
24:27 How can I be roots springing up out of dry ground? Contradictions. How can it be the best of times? and the worst of times. Such are the times that we're living in right now. Christology means that he is the branch of Christian theology.
24:53 He epitomizes what the church is all about. It's not this new age, new on stuff that we preach now that passes for gospel. that go so against the grain of what Christology is that you can say it anywhere and get an amen.
25:16 Christology has to pick a side. It has to take a stand. It has to prove all things, hope all things, believe all things. It has to be Christ-centered, not self-centered. Most of the songs we sing and the things we talk about and the things we say and even the things we preach about are more about us than they are about him. till we become Christ-centered. We have not earned the right to be the church because it's all about the Christology. Everything from Old Testament to New is about Christology. Everything. I mean everything. Everything.
26:04 When Jesus was being born, the Bible also says he was the lamb that was slain from the foundations of the world. When Mary was pushing him out, he was bleeding from the cross. you'll get that later on in other words god doesn't react he acts he's sovereign it was already settled before it was ever a question it was done before it started it was finished before it began before her water broke his side had ruptured and the blood and water had come out of his side slain from the foundations of the world before the voice of the lord walked through the cool of the garden looking for an animal to be slain christ had already been offered up and every animal that was slain was just a shadow of what he'd already done a shadow cannot be seen until an object stands in light So the object that stands in light stands from eternity into time.
27:16 And everything that you experience in between is just a shadow of the finish work of what Christ has already done. Before he said it is finished. Before he said tell Celestia. Before he hung his head in the locks of his shoulder and died. Before the earth got nervous and started trembling. Before the sun gave way and refused to shine. before the graves opened up all over Jerusalem, before the veil and the temple was rent from the top to the bottom, it was already finished. There was no question about whether he was going to win or not. He had already defeated the enemy. we are comparing eternity to time. In eternity, he was slain from the foundations of the world. Time is just an usher to reveal what eternity has already decreed.
28:14 Y'all don't hear what I'm saying. Let me try this again. Nudge your neighbor and say, you're going to get it in time. It's already yours, but you're going to get it in time. It's written in heaven, but you're going to get it in time. I have given you the land, that's eternity, to possess it, that's time.
28:38 Y'all don't hear what I'm saying? Shake your other neighbor's hand and say it's just a matter of time. If it don't happen on Monday, it'll happen on Wednesday. If it don't happen on Wednesday, it'll happen on Friday. If it don't happen on Friday, it'll happen on Saturday. but it's just a matter of time. Time is the usher that brings about the fulfillment of that that was already finished in eternity. Look at God.
29:07 Look at him. Consider Jesus. oh I do baby oh I do I want you to understand the fullness of the power of who Christ is and what he has done this is a branch of Christian theology that studies the person the nature and the identity who he is, the work of Christ, it seeks to answer the fundamental question, who is Jesus Christ? And what does it mean that he is both God and man? Not part God and part man. He is fully God and fully man. I want you to look at the contradiction of the statement. How can you be all the way God and still be all the way man? Look at the contradiction between the two extremities, two things that don't even match the terrestrial and the celestial abiding in the same body at the same time. For we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency may be of God and not of us. Look at somebody say they're Both true.
30:40 It's not mutually exclusive. They're both true. Both polarities are true. Both extremities are true. It is both about to happen and it is already finished at the same time. Y'all don't hear what I'm saying. I'm saying more than you saying. Glory to God. I'm saying more than I'm saying. But if you consider Jesus, it'll make you stop worrying about where you are because you already know that the fight is fixed. And it's only a matter of time until God reveals who you are. And you'll stop needing validation from people because pretty soon God is going to lift you up. And if you'll be lifted up from the earth, he'll draw. Oh, man, you're trying to draw all men and you haven't been lifted up.
31:35 and you're saying how long Lord and he's saying it's just a matter of time until that which I showed you in the spirit manifests in the flesh it's just a matter of time it's just a matter of time it's only a matter of time it's already done he who said I go to prepare a place for you that where I am there ye may be also was born without a room I'm talking about the contradictions between the two extremities on one hand he's talking to me about mansions and on the other hand, he's homeless.
32:36 they wrapped him up in milk rags. They wrapped him up in milk rags while the Magi brought gold and silver to the king who was a king in a barn. Contradictions. Can you live with your contradictions? Can you stand your contradictions? can you be anointed and not be appointed can you be gifted and be ignored at the same time can you be filled and overlooked at the same time can you endure contradictions loved and hated loved and spanked.
33:30 All of this text is so full of contradictions. All of the book is full of contradiction. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son is a love story until you look at Acts and see that his passion was a cross. what does blood have to do with Romeo and Juliet?
33:57 He so loved us. The word so is infinity. There's no end to so. So just goes on all through time. Escapes into eternity. He so loved us. From everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. He has loved me with an everlasting love, but he symbolizes it through a bloody crime scene. Was it a crucifixion or an execution? how can a crucifixion also be an execution at the same time? And both things are true. They executed him like he was a criminal, surrounded by other criminals. It was common for Rome to execute men on the cross.
34:54 But his execution was also his crucifixion. Consider Jesus Who endured such Contradictions Twelve year old boy Walks into the temple Confounds the doctors and lawyers And hadn't been to nobody's school but who can teach you about the word when you are the word?
35:29 When you are the word made flesh, who can tell you about when you're the author of the book, when you're the finisher of the faith, then who can come along and get a chalkboard and explain God to God? Two disciples on the road to Emmaus tried to explain God to God, and they couldn't do it. They tried to tell him what had happened as if they were informing him. And he, in a seven-mile stretch of road, opened up the scriptures and told them through every Old Testament scripture who Jesus was. He didn't even scrape against the New Testament. He just went all through the Old Testament declaring who he was in front of people who were trying to teach. The rabbi. Rabbi.
36:22 Good master. He is the word. Manifest in the flesh. Justified in the spirit. Seen of angels. Preached unto the Gentiles. Believed on in the world. And received up in the glory. I'm talking about your Jesus. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. This is Christology. I'm talking about your Jesus. I'm not talking about Buddha or Confucius or Socrates. I'm talking about your Jesus, your Jesus, your Jesus, your Jesus, your Jesus. I'm talking about your Jesus.
37:01 He was so much tied to both past and present that when they pierced him in his side and cut through the veil of his flesh, the veil in the temple ripped from the top to the bottom. Because what the veil in the temple was is the same thing his flesh was. And when you rip the shadow, you rip the reality at the same time. I'm talking about the veils being ripped open. I'm talking about the veil showing himself. I'm talking about God. When he rips one thing, he rips everything. My shadow cannot do any more than my body is moving because my shadow is bound to objects in light. So you will never see my shadow walk past me. it can only do what the object in light has already done it mimics it shows off it declares it saturates in fact when God made man from the dust of the earth and breathed into him the breath of a living soul we were created in his and after his oh So we were a reflection.
38:24 And the shadow is a reflection. My shadow moved because my hand moved. My shadow walks because my legs walk. My shadow is in the image of the object that stands in life. Look at Jesus! Whoo! Here we go. If you pray for me, I'll teach this thing tonight. So the truth that the Old Testament concealed the New Testament revealed but it was one truth and Christology was there before Mary was born that's why Jesus said before Abraham was I am That's why he told Moses, I am that I am.
39:25 There's no dispute. There's no argument. He which is and was and is to come all at the same time. He's in your yesterday. He's in your today. And he's already rushed into your tomorrow all at the same time. That's why when you've been scarred as a child, you can pray as a grown man. And the power can hit you as a man and go all the way back into your yesterday. day and heal that which was and that which is and that which is to come because he is not bound by your clocks and your watches. Before there was a watch, before there was a clock on the wall, he was God all by himself. And the evening and the morning were the first day. he was there when the first day was made he is the Lord of the Sabbath he is the creator of time he is your God he is your Jesus he is your Messiah do you hear what I'm saying to you he is your anointed one Jesus Christos he is the anointed one the anointed one is not his last name it's his description it's his essence he was the anointed one whether you call him Jesus Christ or Christ Jesus he is the anointed one sometimes the text calls him Jesus Christ because the flesh hides the Christos but when he raised from the dead They called him Christ Jesus because he was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father.
41:13 It's just a matter of position. Jesus Christ of Christ Jesus. You read Ephesians chapter 1. It uses both of them in the same verse because one of them refers to the flesh up front and the other one refers to the spirit that raised up the flesh. The same spirit that quickened Jesus' mortal body and raised it from the dead shall also quicken your mortal body, the Christos.
41:42 While the Holy Spirit fell while he was still in the Jordan River to testify to the authenticity of who he was. and the spirit descended on him like as a dove because God is an actor. It wasn't that it was a dove. It was like as a dove. And he descended like as a dove. And the Father spoke from heaven and said, This is my beloved Son, whom the Lord loveth. He chastened it. Y'all don't hear me. I'm going to tie it all up before I sit down. Whom the Lord loveth. He chastened it. So he said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. How could he be speak from heaven and then say, in whom? God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself but that does not mean that Christ was not in God Can I teach tonight?
42:53 I feel something about to happen. I feel something about to happen. Touch three people and say something's about to happen in here. Something's about to happen. Lift this for me. Something's about to happen. Yeah. as you lift it, lift it slow, lift it slow, lift it slow, lift it slow, apocalypse, the unveiling. The apocalypse means that God unveils that which was hidden, that he shows off. He doesn't create it, he just reveals it. The greatest, the mystery of godliness, and he unveils. Oh my God, that's the Ark of the Covenant. This is the epitome of how it all started. It is Emmanuel, God tabernacled with us. It is the meeting place between God and man.
43:50 That's what the Garden of Eden was all about. When divinity wanted to meet with humanity, they met in the Garden of Adam. Where are they? This is the Ark of the Covenant. Look at the contrast between the gold that Eliezer put in place and the desert that it was in. tumbleweed moving through the dry place and gold standing all at the same time. Can we talk about it? Glory to God. Who would put a gold artifact in the middle of a desert? I have been in the desert, in the wilderness.
44:44 I have felt the wind blow across my face. I have seen the particles of sand almost blind my eyes. I have been on the Jericho Road. I have walked down the Jericho Road. I have been out in the wilderness. Who would put something so precious in something so desolate? Only God would make the contradiction and the contrast of putting something bright in the presence of something so dark and shame-filled. listen at the wind blow and understand that this is not just a beautiful piece of furniture this is an expression of who Christ is I sent them out because they're carrying the altar of incense, which represents the prayers of the saints.
45:46 You can never make it to here until you have prayed till your prayers aromatize the room. God can smell your prayers. Your prayers go up before God as a sweet-smelling savor. You said, I'm talking about, I wonder, does he hear me? You should be asking, I wonder, does he smell me? Because the prayers of the saints go up before God as a sweet-smelling savor. Ooh, I smell it now. That is the smell of frankincense and myrrh. That is the smell of mothers praying on their knees. That is the smell of tears running down young men's face saying, am I enough? Can I do what you assigned me to do? Am I capable of being who you sent me to be? That is the smell of your prayers going up before God that has filled the nostrils of God that make it possible for you to slip beyond the veil and go into the holies of holies on the day of atonement.
46:53 And touch the ark of the covenant. Tell your neighbor, I smell something on you. That's what it's like to be around truly anointed people. It's old school. You don't see that anymore. But to be around somebody that's really consecrated, they put off a scent. They put off a fragrance. They have an aura. They have a presence. They don't have to tell you they're anointed. If you get around them, you can sense the anoint. That's what it means to burst an alabaster box. The box is alabaster, but the ointment is spicknard. And when the spicknard got loose from its container, it filled the whole room. For we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency may be of God and not of us.
47:48 I smell God doing something. I smell God moving something. I smell God healing something. I smell God fixing something. I smell the Christology of God himself making himself known before Mary was born. This is the schoolmaster that taught me who Jesus was. This is the Ark of the Covenant. This is what God had Moses to build in the desert. Some translations say out of acacia wood. Others say shittim wood. He formed it out of wood. a perishable material.
48:36 Incorruptible, but perishable. Let me explain the difference between the two. It was incorruptible, that is to say, that termites and foreign matters could not destroy you. Thou will not allow the Holy One to see corruption. Yet he was all the way man. So the wood that you can't see represents the band, but the gold represents the God. So when Jesus prays, being filled, you can't see it, but there's as much gold on the inside as there is on the outside. And this is a sandwich effect. There's gold on the inside. there's wood in the middle and there's gold on the outside so when Jesus prayed Father glorify me with the glory I had with you before the foundations of the world he was praying for the outer coat because when he was born the Bible says and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld the wonder of his glory the only begotten of the Father full of grace and full of truth, if he's full of glory, if he's Emmanuel, God tabernacled with us, then all he could do was ask the Father to glorify me with the glory that I had with you before the foundations of the world.
50:14 My God. non-perishable on the outside inlaid with the same gold on the inside and the wood the wood part is hidden between the goals it's like Noah's Ark when Noah made the ark the Bible said it was pitched within and without that's why I didn't go down in the water because there was as much on the inside as there was on the outside and whenever God makes something he makes it to last can I go just a little bit deeper I feel something working in this place who's getting a blessing tonight I don't know who it is but I feel somebody getting a blessing tonight this has staves to be carried by men because God wanted to be so close to you that you would feel the weight of glory the doxa the weight of glory was to be born on your shoulder not in a new cart but on your back, the full weight of glory rests on those of us who have been called to carry his anointing.
51:55 And you don't want to feel any pressure? Then you don't want to carry any glory. because glory has weight. It has weight, and it was made to be born of men and to be carried. This may not look like it, but this is a chair.
54:01 This is the mercy seat. this is the place where mercy and truth are met together and righteousness and peace have kissed each other and truth shall bring out of the earth and the Lord shall look down from heaven and the Lord shall give that which is good and our land shall yield her increase this is what Jesus went through the veil of the clouds to place his blood on the mercy seat lest the father look down and see the law that is carried inside this box. 54:53 The Ten Commandments, Aaron's rod that budded, and the pot of manna. And if God looks on his law in all of his righteousness, he is ready to condemn but because the blood has hit the mercy seat he says when i see the blood i will pass over you you miss your time to shout your time to shout is right now because you know you did some mess that if god looked at your naked mess you wouldn't have no title you wouldn't be no prophet you wouldn't be no bishop you wouldn't be no elder but when death was passing by the blood prevailed over your life and you've got a mercy you're standing in mercy that's why i can't understand why you are so judgmental and so critical because if it had not been for the blood i say it again if it had not been for the blood They didn't hear me if it had not been for the blood.
55:59 For we have not a high priest who cannot be touched by the feeling of our infirmity, tipped in all points like as we are, yet without sin. Our high priest entered once and for all to sanctify us, to set us free, this is the mercy seat this is what isaiah talks about in the year king ozai died i saw also the lord high and lifted up and his train filled the temple and above him were cherubims saying one to another holy holy holy is the lord god of hosts it is not just that god comes when you praise him God comes when you talk about him to each other.
56:56 And when you face each other and start speaking and conversate about who he is, he manifests himself in the midst of his people. That's why I can't be around deadbeat people. I can't be around people who are gossiping in the car. I can't be around people who are full of lust and foolishness and he say and she say. I got to be around somebody that when I say hallelujah, you say hallelujah. When I say Jesus, you say Christ. When I say thank you, you say Lordy. I got to have somebody that's reflecting the glory back and forth. And whenever we reflect the glory, it won't take so many of us. Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I. Oh, I got to quit. And they said one to another, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of hosts.
57:54 The whole earth is full of his glory. And he inhabited their conversation. Find somebody if you can, who you can talk about Jesus to. And strike up a conversation with him right now and start telling them who Jesus has been to you and watch God come down into your conversation. Find somebody, find somebody, find somebody, find somebody, find somebody. And the more you talk about it, the more he'll come. And the more you talk about it, the more he'll prevail. And the more you talk about it, the more he'll be magnified. and the more you talk about it, the more the enemy will have to get out of the way, and the more you talk about it, his train will fill the temple, and the more you talk about it, the post of the door will move, and the house will be filled with smoke, and the more you talk about it, the more your bodies will be healed, and the more you talk about it, the more doubt and depression will have to get out of your way. You can't talk about the Savior and still drown. If you start talking about Jesus.
59:11 I was... that's all right that's all right that's all right I expected him to show up I've been waiting on him to show up I've been waiting on him to walk in the room I've been waiting on him to heal somebody I've been waiting on him to feel somebody I've been waiting on him to deliver somebody as soon as you get your mouth right God's glory will fall right he will inhabit what comes out of your mouth He's a speaking God. He's a speaking God. And whenever he speaks, he moves. And whenever he moves, we speak.
1:00:04 Let the redeemed are the Lord. I can almost see two angels sitting on the rolled away stone when he rose from the dead and Mary and them came down with frankincense and myrrh.
1:00:46 And the angels stood on that which was rolled away and said he is not here. He has risen. This holy place is shadowed by the ark of the covenant before us. This was what David brought back that Saul did not. Saul was after positions. David was after presence. And because Saul just wanted position, the kingdom was taken away from him. And God said, I found the man who is after my heart. And when he found him, the train filled the temple and the glory fell. And what made God move in such a supernatural way is that David always preferred presence.
1:01:44 over titles and placements and principles. And we're living in an age where all we want is titles. We think the bigger the title, the more important we are. But when you really get big enough, your name will swallow up your title. Because God didn't say, I'll make your title great. He said, I'll make your name great. Talk to me, somebody. He said, I'll make your name great. Abram, I'll make your name great. I will bless them that bless you and curse them that curse you. And you don't have to hide behind any kind of title because your name will stand all by itself. I heard the Bible say, Paul, I know. And Jesus, I know. But who are you?
1:02:38 Oh my God, I feel something. I feel something in this room. I feel the presence of God in this room. I feel the Shekinah glory in this room. When the Shekinah glory hit the Ark of the Covenant, it lit up the entire tabernacle, even at night when it was dark outside. the sacanah glory would fill the place. Watch this. In the outer court, we have daylight.
1:03:15 In the inner court, we have candle lights. In the holies of holies, we have divine light. God didn't need a lantern. He didn't need a flashlight. He didn't need an oil lamp. The power of his glory illuminated the whole room. So when David brings back the Ark of the covenant he doesn't need daylight nor candlelight because he has the kind of glory which is divine light are you hearing what I'm saying to you touch nine people and say something's gonna happen in here tonight something's going to happen in here tonight. Something's going to happen in here tonight. I can feel it in my hands. I can feel it in my feet. It's getting heavy in here.
1:04:10 The train is filling the temple. The glory of the Lord is in this place. I was weary when I came in, but I feel strength coming up in my spirit. I was tired when I came in, but I feel power coming up in my spirit. I was bound when I came in here, but somebody cut my hands loose. Somebody cut my feet loose and I'm moving around in what should have burned me up. Christology, when Christ existed, the more good he did, the more he was persecuted. Thank you.
1:05:10 The more he was the Prince of Peace, the harder they beat him. The contradiction is a sign that God is with you. I'm almost finished. I was walking through the house and the Lord said to me, he who created the tree stumbled carrying the cross. let me say that again he who created the tree stumbled at the weight of carrying the cross and when I thought about stumbling it took me to that ox that was carrying the ark of the covenant and the bible said It's a hard word to use for an ox.
1:06:19 It says the ox stumbled. The ox stumbled and Uzzah, whose name means strength, reached out to save God with his strength. But the Bible said not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord. And when Uzzah tried to give strength to he who made strength, he died.
1:08:16 I wonder how many times you're trying to help God fix something. I wonder how many times you have put your hands in the stuff that was none of your business. I wonder how many times you have touched a sanctified place that was holy unto the Lord.
1:08:46 And Uzzah died. And he died meaning well. And he died trying to do good. but he died because he did not respect the presence of God. Let me give you one more scripture and I'll try to come out of this thing. You see, before David could bring the Ark of the Covenant, the Bible says that when the Philistines came down to fight against the children of Israel, that the first time they killed, I believe it was 19,000 people, and the children of Israel went back to get the Ark of the Covenant. they had the Ark of the Covenant but they didn't have relationship with the covenant in the Ark so the Bible says, who say I like to preach the Bible, so the Bible says that when they brought back the Ark of the Covenant, they brought back the Ark of the Covenant and it was so strong that the enemy was terrified when they saw this because whenever you see this, something is going to happen.
1:09:56 Whenever you see this, somebody's going to be defeated and destroyed. Only this time... he didn't fight for people who were only using him and exploiting his power for their own name.
1:10:22 And 33,000 men died that day. And they took the Ark of the Covenant to Ahinoam's house to stay with the men of Kerjoth-Gerim. And they stayed there 20 years. Am I in the book? They stayed there 20 years. And every time they tried to put a god up in front of him, he knocked it down. Because he said, I will have no other god before me. Are you hearing what I'm saying? And Saul, with all of his power and all of his armies and all of his authority never once tried to get the glory back. So when David comes back with the Ark of the Covenant, a howl is going in front of him, okay?
1:11:18 And they're bringing the Ark of the Covenant back on a new cart. The problem with the cart is that the cart ignored the staves. that means that God will only ride on the shoulders of people who know him now you're living in a time where you got worldly folks telling you who Jesus is and they're making posts every day and you are defending and trying to reason with people who have never carried the Ark of the Covenant they don't know anything about the weight of glory they only know the weight of reasoning and God defies all human rationale now. What the Bible say, if the gospel be hid, it is hid from them that are lost. But because you so respect social media, you're having fights with people on social media who have never walked into the light. When you are to understand why they can't see it.
1:12:29 for eyes have not seen ears have not heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for them that love him but it has been revealed unto us by his spirit David gets ready to bring back the ark of the covenant Uzzah touches it he dies David gets frustrated because of the contradiction. I'm trying to do good and why are so many things going wrong? I'm trying to do good and why is my marriage falling apart? I'm trying to serve the Lord and why is my flesh acting up? I'm trying to praise the Lord and why is my body sick? And David gave up the Ark of the Covenant to Obed-Edom because he could not endure the contradiction.
1:13:28 I'm going to wrap this up he could not endure the contradiction and it lasted for three months but what God will do to remind you that you are his he will take the blessing that should have been yours and give it to somebody else until your envy overrides your frustration and David finally knocks on the house of Obed-Edom and says, give me back the glory and whatever I have to do to bring back the glory, I'm willing to do it and the Bible said that they put the Ark of the Covenant on the shoulders of the priests and David got out in front of them and started dancing. Y'all don't hear what I'm saying. The Bible said he started dancing. He started dancing because he was using the key of David.
1:14:28 Now, the key of Moses required the brazen altar, the brazen labor, the altar of incense, the table of shoe bread. But the key of David only required a praise. And when praises go up, blessings come back. I'm wondering if there's any Davids in the house that know how to bring God's glory back with a praise. Is there anybody in here that'll use the key of David to unlock a supernatural glory that'll fall in your life? I'm going to give you...
