Would you look at the person beside you and tell them, I feel like I'm coming down with something. Family, there's a lot that will be said about this woman in today's scripture. she's had a bad back for 18 years.

3:35 The pain has been unbearable, and her posture has been so impacted that she has to walk with a hunched angle. we got to give her some credit though because i find it remarkable that in spite of how she's feeling she still comes to church There are people in this congregation who are deservant of high commendation because, quite frankly, you weren't feeling it, but you fought through it to get here. The marriage is messed up, but you still believe in miracles.

4:34 The children are chaotic, but Christ has you centered. The bills are way behind. The headache is like a hole in your head. The stress is a serious situation. unemployment has you unhinged you couldn't find the hospital that specializes in church hurt Depression is wearing you thin. If there was an ambulance for the annoyed, you jump in. and unlike David, you weren't glad when they said unto you, let's go to the house of the Lord, but you went anyway.

5:25 Cup me some slack. At least I'm here. There's anybody in the room have ever had a moment where you didn't feel like going to church, but you came to church anyway. Would you give God glory right now that you came anyway. The Bible says that this woman was in church on the very day that Jesus is the guest preacher. and I wanted you to hone in on verse 11, and verse 11 is particularly peculiar because it says something that has arrested me from the time of reading to this moment.

6:18 It says something that I want you to zoom in on the high power objective. It says she has the spirit of infirmity. She is the spirit of infirmity. I have a passing familiarity with the term psychosomatic, which is a physical condition that is amplified by mental or emotional factors like weary or paranoia. It is a mind-body connection. Proverbs 23 and 7 says, As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Excessive stress can kickstart arthritis.

7:19 Stress is responsible for irritable bowel syndrome, for migraines and high blood pressure. That's why Romans 12 and 2 says you are transformed by the renewing of your mind. The Egyptian philosophers who had their ideology stolen from the Grecan philosophers said, I think therefore I am. A human being is only a human thinking. it is mind over matter so let the weak now say i'm strong let the poor say i am rich let the sick say i am healed it is your mind over the matter i can do all things through christ greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. I put my mind over the matter. With that being said, the lady we are discussing today, it was not in her head that was making her sick.

8:38 it says a spirit had overtaken her it wasn't mind games it was a spiritual matter that is afoot furthermore it says that that spirit did not make her foam around her mouth that spirit did not make eyes roll in the back of her head i want you to hear what that spirit did. That spirit prohibited her or blocked her from pulling herself up. That spirit would not allow her to get herself together. There are some spirits that have come down on you that before you leave today have got to be broken off of you.

9:38 Because it is that spirit that is stopping you from getting yourself together. The first spirit that I believe that fell on her, that is resting on many of you under the sound of my voice. That first spirit, I need you to hear it. You only even got to write it down because you're going to be able to identify it and recognize it and see it. Here it is. It is a spirit we don't deal with in church. It is the spirit of laziness. spirit of laziness got on that woman she couldn't pull herself up couldn't get herself together was the spirit of laziness and and you you only recognize what it is the spirit of laziness you have no energy you don't want to put forth any effort you are adverse to initiative in a book that I want to recommend to you called Do More Better.

10:50 The book is entitled Do More Better. The author argues that laziness is a spiritual issue. You don't just decide to be lazy. The enemy does not want you to be a steward of your intellect. your ability does not want you to give it governance there is a satanic spirit that wants you to abdicate your responsibilities you refuse new ventures you have the inability to complete anything you start you have falsely been labeled as incompetent even though you have capacity. Proverbs 12 and 24 said the hands of the diligent will rule while the slothful will be forced into labor. He said to Joshua, watch what he says to Joshua, every place that the sole of your foot treads upon, I am going to give it to you. It was to make sure that while Joshua is anointed and favored he is not overcome with the spirit of laziness I am only gonna give you what you put your foot on the children of Israel had a test now God has all power he has all power he can do anything but he said to the children of Israel I'm gonna make the walls of Jericho fall but they not going to fall until you start walking around them and when you walk around it seven times the seventh time you do it it is going to fall because God needed to see are you going to operate under apostolic privilege and holy ghost entitlement and thinking you ain't gonna have to do nothing God says that when you start moving I'm gonna stay stop making a move on your behalf but I don't have

13:01 any blessings for lazy believers. You've got to have some gumption about you. You've got to have some instinct about you. You've got to have some drive over your life. And so I came on this Pentecost Sunday. It ain't even for you. I don't know where you are, but nine mothers are getting ready to scream. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I break the spirit of laziness off of your son. I break the spirit of laziness of that Negro sleeping in your bed but can't find a job. I break the spirit of laziness off of the siblings that are in your pocket but don't have your work ethic. I break the spirit of laziness of people who feel like you are obligated to do for them when they will not do for themselves.

I break the spirit of laziness off of those of you who are bright, those of you who are talented, those of you who are anointed, those of you who are skilled, but somebody got to beg you to get out of bed. The devil is a liar. I break the spirit of laziness off of you. you may be seated the spirit of laziness rested on her hallelujah somebody shout not in my house did y'all hear what I just said nobody who takes up resident in your house will be possessed by the spirit of laziness how i'm gonna work all day long and you just sitting on the couch watching tv eating my food and draining my air conditioner i break the spirit of laziness we are raising a generation of children raising a generation of children and part of it is your fault you gave them no responsibilities gave them no chores y'all ain't saying nothing how you got kids in your house that don't know how to wash clothes don't know how to iron don't know how to vacuum y'all ain't saying nothing to me and you can't figure out why at 27 they still living there it's because you didn't create a home you created an airbnb you gotta shake some people up and make a declaration as for me and my house

16:11 not only are we gonna serve the lord we gonna pay some bills we gonna wash some dishes y'all ain't saying nothing. We gonna be accountable. We gonna make some money. As for me and my house, I break the spirit of laziness. the spirit had gotten on her so heavy that the bible says she can't lift herself up can't straighten out her own back the second spirit that fell on her there's fallen on many of you who are in this room the second spirit you have to be leery of is the spirit of lack Thank you. that's a spirit the spirit of lack here this is a mindset it is a mindset of scarcity and insecurity the enemy will plant in your mind that you will never have enough your memory hides from you that you serve the god of the harvest as evidence of you having the absence of hope you begin to hoard you begin to become selfish you become greedy you become self-absorbed because you think you ain't gonna have enough but God is getting ready to do something for somebody who's on this room.

17:50 One of the tests of the Israelites is God would bring up manna every day and if they tried to keep it, it would spoil. It would not last until the next day. It was just enough for their appetite. You got to begin to remember your childhood prayer. Give us this day our daily bread. I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread. Ladies and gentlemen, he will supply all of my need. Look at the birds in the air. Consider the lilies of the field. If I'm taking care of the birds in the air, in the lilies of the field, give no thought to what you're going to eat or what you're going to drink. His eye is on the sparrow and I know he's watching over me.

The spirit of insufficiency has just been destroyed. God said if you give me glory you are no longer living paycheck to paycheck who says I can only bless you every other Friday but God said I bless you in your going in and I bless you in your coming out I bless you where you lay down I bless where you rise again you may be seated there is no greater stress than living under economic insecurity. Not sure how the bills are going to be paid, how you're going to take care of the children, how you're going to meet the car note, how you're going to stay in school another semester. But I need you to understand worry is praise to the adversary. You just missed what I just said. Worry is praise to the adversary.

20:09 whenever I am worrying I am giving glory to the devil saying that he's got the power my father taught me a lesson many years ago I was complaining to him when I first started working about all the bills that I had to pay and my dad said to me you don't understand bill paying is praise and worship I said what do you mean he said when you're paying your rent while you're writing a check, say, Lord, I thank you that I'm not homeless. Y'all ain't saying nothing. When I'm paying my utilities, Lord, I give you glory that you gave me just enough. When I'm writing my card note, I got to begin giving God glory. I serve a God of exceedingly, of abundantly beyond what I can think, what I can dream, or what I can imagine. God said when I break generational curses it ain't just on you but every member of your family that's in financial insecurity when you open up your mouth I'm breaking it all for them I don't know how y'all feel about it but I need somebody to start giving glory that God is going to do something for his name's sake You may be seated.

21:32 She's hunched over. Can't stand. Can't stand up straight. Ain't nothing wrong with her back. It is the weight of her bills that's weighing her down. Y'all just missed what I just said. There is no indication scripturally whether she is a mother or a grandmother. all I know is that she's hunched over but she's still making her way to church see some people think when they watch you give God glory they think all of the bills are paid they think you ain't got no financial issues they don't understand you only got one problem your one problem is I made a promise long ago I will bless the Lord at all times and his praise will continuously be out of my mouth. Can I tell you I'm a killer demon today?

22:27 I want you to praise God. Here's your shout for the bills you ain't paid yet. I want you to give God glory for the debt that's over your head. I want you to magnify him like you know can nobody. Do me like Jesus can nobody. Do me like the Lord. I'm not debt free. I still got a mortgage. I still got a car. Second spirit that is weighing her down is the spirit of lack. The third spirit that had to come off of her that's got to come off of you. It is the spirit. Somebody got to write this down. two of y'all promise me you won't take off running too quick here it is is you gotta break the spirit of delay I recall in Daniel chapter 10 Daniel chapter 10 Daniel had prayed unto God and after he prayed unto God sometime later an angel appeared and said we heard your prayer the first time but there was a wrestling in heaven because the enemy didn't want to see your prayer answered.

25:14 I don't know where y'all are. I need you to know right now that God is in full-blown warfare fighting to get your prayer answered. He ain't forgot about you. He got to just defeat some demons on your job and some demons in the country and some demons in the White House. He said, I heard your prayer. I heard your prayer a couple of weeks ago. A couple of weeks ago, I was in the airport. I had to go preach on an assignment. I don't even remember where I was going. I was going to preach somewhere. And the weather was bad. Watch this. Just because it's delayed, here's your shout, just because it's delayed don't mean you ain't gonna take off. Y'all done missed the whole sermon. Did you hear what I just said to you? Because whatever it is that's stopping you from getting your life together, whatever's stopping you from pulling yourself up, has been an all-out demonic attack. You are loose from the spirit of laziness. So every idea you put aside. Every fight that got you frustrated. 46:16 Make them go-getters. Give them a thirst to acquire and to do more better. I pray, dear Lord, that you'll put something in my children. That they'll have the drive to go further than me. God, please break the spirit of laziness. So it does not come close to them or the people they are close to. I need that hand lifted. I need to say it. I need to say it. I need to say it. God, don't let the children I name marry somebody lazy. Y'all ain't screaming right? Don't let them have children with people that are lazy. God, for the children whose names we've called, we break the spirit of lack. that they will not be beggars, but they will be receivers.

47:25 I pray, God, you'll put our children in position where they will not have to compromise themselves to pay the rent. Won't have to compromise themselves in order to sustain themselves. I pray, dear Lord, you'll impregnate them with witty ideas and inventions. I pray that you'll put a creative tenacity inside of them. Help them to have vivid imaginations and wild dreams. Let nobody break what is inside of them. God, I declare over every child who we have prayed for today that you will break the spirit of delay. I pray, dear Lord, you'll only give it to them in the season they're mature enough to handle it. Don't give it to them.

48:17 And if they're going to waste it, squander it, or drop it, I pray, dear Lord, you'll prepare them for what they are about to receive. Those of you, you come into agreement on Pentecost Sunday that the spirit of lack, the spirit of delay, and the spirit of laziness will be replaced with the Holy Spirit. Those of you who believe it erupt in thanksgiving right now.
