3:32 In it, he unpacks how our community spends 1.9 trillion every year. 1.9 trillion every year just getting ready to blow your mind collectively but with what it is that our community spends we could buy apple tesla and netflix and have change left over we spend i want you to write this down you got to have a family discussion tonight it's going mess you up. We spend, black people do, 3.8 million a minute. 3.8 million a minute. That's why people couldn't even comprehend when I shared and unearthed that we were spending, pre-boycott, we were spending $12 million a day at Target.

4:30 one of the areas that is right under our nose, y'all ain't gonna believe what I'm getting ready to tell you, one of the areas that is right under our nose that we spend without any thought is chewing gum. somebody's bubble is getting ready to pop when they find out that black people spend, write this down, $120 million a year on gum.

We account for 25% of all chewing gum sales. 25% if you don't understand the context of what that means we are responsible for 25% of all chewing gum sales when we are only 13% of the population they accrue 21 billion a year hear this 21 billion dollars a year is amassed from chewing gum and yet there is not a chewing gum company in America that has one black on its board.

5:50 It's hard to believe that there's not one major chewing gum brand in America that's black owned. At the corner store is liquor, lottery tickets, chips, right there by the cash register is gum. Juicy fruit, is bearing us no fruit. and extra has not gone over and beyond for our community that immediately should make the gum in your mouth stale and leave a bad taste in your mouth if that doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth the big beautiful bill that passed the senate should the leaders of this nation who all claim to be Christian committed the most un-Christlike thing since slavery. They have kicked 17 million Americans off health care and 653,000 of them live in Georgia. They cut 186 billion off of food assistance from families and eliminated free lunch from children.

7:15 Clutch your pearls. You ain't going to believe it. Reach for your asthma pump. Everybody's electric bill will be going up by $168 a month. and at the same time they're giving a one trillion dollar tax cut for billionaires not to mention over the last week they have left 500,000 Haitians unprotected a congresswoman in Minnesota was murdered as was her husband in their home by somebody who was a professed evangelical Christian Trumpite. And President Trump did not go to the funeral. He went to play golf instead of paying respects.

8:08 There are in America 800 billionaires. That's it. 800 billionaires who benefit from the big, beautiful bill where contrarily there are 340 million who will suffer. What they don't understand or what you don't understand is the majority of those on SNAP, the majority of those collecting food stamps are white people. But they hate minorities so much that they will injure themselves just thinking they are punishing us. 435 hospitals will close in rural areas. They cannot even give an estimate of how many people will die in the first three years because of the absence of Medicare, Medicaid, and the closing of hospitals.

9:16 They have opened up in broad daylight alligator alcatraz that is fit for canines to house immigrants while white evangelical churches have said nothing about any of it. And if you're anything like me, it should leave a bad taste in your mouth. and if it doesn't, don't look at me in that Tony voice as if you ain't experienced nothing to leave a bad taste in your mouth. Make you want to suck your teeth, roll your eyes. When you see little children who are unkept and rude, when they put change on the counter, when you put the money in the cashier's hand, when you call somebody and they don't answer but they text you back, Y'all ain't saying nothing to me when a year ago it was people who called Kamala Harris a witch and then turned around and put a warlock in office If any of that irks your nerves, have you ever for just one moment of your life, for one moment of your life, have you ever considered what leaves a bad taste in God's mouth?

10:45 I found out when reading the book of Revelations that the Spirit of God came to a little city called Laodicea. It was a city of extreme wealth, opulence, decadence, lavishness. But what was interesting is that the region Laodicea became wealthy because of its expensive and rare wool. Expensive and rare wool. Oddly enough, in Laodicea, they can't figure it out. They don't know why. But in Laodicea, they only grow. Y'all ain't going to believe it. You're going to think I'm making it up. In Laodicea, they only grow black sheep.

11:34 So all the sheep in Laodicea are black. So in no uncertain terms, this is the message that God is giving to black sheep. I still lost you. Let me see if I can help you. The angel shows up and talks to all of the black sheep, clears its throat, and says, I've got a message. Look at verse number 14 in Revelations chapter 3. Revelations chapter 3, verse number 14. Watch what the angel says. The angel says, I have a message from a man. That's crazy right there. I got a message from amen. Isn't it amazing that ordinarily the way that we were taught to pray, you close your prayer by saying amen.

12:29 Amen translates to mean it is so. So shall it be. Another translation, it's already done. Somebody shout amen. Come on, say it again. Let the church say amen. A man means it is so, so shall it be, it's already done. And the angel shows up and says, I have a message from it is so. I have a message from it already is. I have a message from so shall it be. Can I tell you, ladies and gentlemen, when you got Jesus on your side, you ain't got to argue with folk, just say amen. Come on, I can't hear nobody. You got to begin to declare things. The Bible says, speak those things that are not as though they already are. Do you know that the power of life and death is in your mouth?

13:30 I need somebody to just shout out loud, amen. You don't even understand. Amen is a declaration and a prophecy. Did y'all hear what I just said? Amen is a declaration and a prophecy. Look at the person beside to tell them all your bills will be paid. Now look back at them and say, amen. You just say, it is so. Come on, I can't hear nobody. Look at your neighbor, tell them your children are going to flourish. They're going to prosper. They're going to do well. Then say, amen. It is so. I can't hear nobody. Health is going to be all right in your body. Your mind is going to be free from trauma. somebody shout amen it is so it's already done whatever you've been praying about whatever you've been looking for God to do whatever you've been expecting somebody shout out loud amen it is So, who has the final say?

14:36 Jehovah has the final say. Somebody shout amen. And here you are on the first Sunday of the month declaring what you usually say at the end of the prayer. Amen. See, some of y'all, it don't resonate because you ain't been asking God for nothing. but those of you who've been talking to God about something specific something intentional you don't even understand God is waiting to hear whether you got confidence in faith that what you've been asking for is about to manifest in your life those of you that got a prayer lifted up towards heaven that has not yet come down to the earth would you shout out loud amen And the angel makes the announcement, I am here on behalf of amen.

15:40 I'm here on behalf of it is so. We know him as wonderful counselor and mighty God. We know him as the prince of peace. We know him as a wheel in the middle of the wheel. But how many of us knew him as the amen? He is the closure of everything that has been left cracked open. Somebody shout out loud, amen.

But those of you who are straddling the fence, God says, I ain't got no patience for you. How you come into my house and you got to get somebody to pump you up to give me glory. how you sitting there with your arms folded and your legs crossed you ain't at the Fox Theater coming to be entertained I was glad when they said unto me let's go into the house of the Lord Now the thing that I appreciate about the text that I wanted to do an autopsy on this morning is it says, watch this, God says I'd rather you be hot or cold. Which says to me, here it is, that he don't mind if I'm cold.

17:59 since it's an option. Says, I don't mind if you're cold. Why? Because God says, even if you're cold, I know how to turn the heat on. Jeremiah 20 and 9. I ain't got much voice. I got to cut across the field. Jeremiah 20 and 9, the prophet said, I'm tired of God. I ain't never going to speak his name again. I ain't never going to be a witness. I ain't never going to give a testimony. I'm sick of everything that I'm going through, and I refuse to shout out loud again. But Jeremiah said, I got a problem. it feels like fire shut up in my bones see you can come in cold but the mistake you made is you sat beside somebody hot you would have been better off going to a cold church where don't nobody shout but if you sitting on the road with somebody that got fire for God you better know that fire is contagious It'll stop with me, but it'll flow down your road.

19:18 Hallelujah. Be seated. Hallelujah. Be seated. Hallelujah. If you are a cold believer and you are in church this morning, you should have taken a longer glance at the road you decided to sit on. You should have found the cold section. God, I can't hear nobody. Because the thing about fire, you can't control the fire. When the fire starts burning, something on the inside starts working on the outside. Oh, what a change that has come over me. I can tell y'all don't think fire is contagious.

20:14 Would you grab that neighbor by the hand and tell your neighbor, you ain't got to shout if you don't want to. You ain't got to scream if you don't want to. You ain't got to run if you don't feel like it. Because praise is what I do. And when I praise him, Everything that's connected to me is going to catch on fire. I wish somebody would catch on fire. I wish somebody would make a joyful noise. Y'all been saved too long. Those of y'all that got saved from the street, you got saved from the club. You got saved from the world. the roof the roof the roof is on fire we don't need no water let the Holy Ghost burn Burn Holy Ghost.

Hallelujah. You may be seated in the presence of the Lord. A peculiar fact about Laodicea is that Laodicea has no fresh water supply.

27:19 Laodicea has no fresh water supply. So let me hear you softly. the nearest source was a spring several miles away. And so even in biblical times, the genius of the prowess of your ancestors, in biblical times, they created a underground aqueduct system. In Jesus' time, they had an underground aqueduct system to bring water from 17 miles away. But as the water flowed through the pipes, it would get heated from the Middle Eastern sun. And the problem is by the time it got to Laodicea, it was lukewarm.

28:08 You just miss what I'm trying to tell you. The pipes had so much sediment in it that it was basically undrinkable. It was so toxic that reflexively people who would drink it would spit it out or vomit. Because the taste was so bad. Some people you are in relationship with are toxic because they bring all of their stuff with them.

28:42 They're charging you with stuff that you ain't got nothing to do with. And the taste is bitter in your mouth. And Jesus said, that's how it is that I feel. You're coming from dirty water. And where I wanted to hang my hat this morning is the fact that Jesus said, because you're neither hot nor cold, I'm going to spit you out of my mouth. I'm going to spit you out for being casual with me. I'm going to spit you out because you're handling me common, thinking I'm regular smegler.

29:27 And he said something. I'm telling you, when I read it, I almost wanted to jump off the plane. He said, watch this, I am spitting you out of my mouth. Ladies and gentlemen, I didn't mean to keep you this long. I only wanted to get you to one point is where he said I will spit you out of my mouth I will no longer have you in my mouth And that scared me. It scared me because I remember when Jesus got the message from Mary and Martha that said, come quick, the one you love is sick. come quick, the one you love is sick. And Jesus shows up at the cemetery and they tell him it's too late and he ignores all of them and said, show me where you laid them.

30:34 And when they pointed out the tomb that he was in, I want you to watch what Jesus does. Jesus never said, friend, come forth. God help me he called him by name Lazarus come forth I think you just missed what I'm trying to show you Mary and Martha in the message said your friend but when he got to the grave he called his name I hope y'all don't tear up this church on this 4th of July weekend I'm telling you the reason why you gotta stay hot is I need my name. I need my name in the mouth of God. God will speak my name in the atmosphere of stuff that tried to kill me and leave me for dead.

31:36 I can't believe y'all are sitting there like God ain't never called you out of nothing. Somebody shout your old name right now. Shout your home! He just called your name because your name is in his mouth. Can you believe? God just called you by name to take you away from death. You should have been in a car accident.
