1:11:01 Amen and hallelujah. I want to call your attention in these few moments to the book of 2 Corinthians. And while you are getting 2 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 10, would you praise God with me for this amazing choir? They have blessed us just powerfully. Yes, Lord. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. 2 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 10. Vincent, when I was at now defunct but never dead Bishop College, our dean my first semester, freshman year, was Dr. Harry S. Wright. Dr. Harry S. Wright introduced me, because I had never heard of it, to Clarence Jordan's cotton patch version of the Bible. Clarence Jordan was a brilliant New Testament scholar, advocate, and activist who in the deep south as a white man used his privilege for those who were underprivileged and then had the nerve to take the Bible they had used against us and showed us just how wrong they were.

1:12:23 And so I want to read from 2 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 10 from the cotton patch version of Paul's epistles and listen to what it says in verse 10. Well then, he who supplies the farmer with seed will also provide you with bread to eat. What's more, God will multiply what you plant and increase your harvest of justice. You may be seated in God's presence. I want to put a tag on this text and for a few moments with your prayers, I want to talk about keep that same energy. keep that same energy the question becomes how do you keep that same energy when life has left you running on empty how do you keep looking up when you've been knocked down let down and now you feel broken down Kendrick Lamar raps about it because he said was closer to my dreams but reality told me hold up no money in my jeans and my salary said you owe us what Kendrick is rapping about and poetically proclaiming is that you can look forward to going somewhere only to have what you were up against block you from getting where it is you're trying to go and already I'm in somebody's Kool-Aid, I've called out your flavor because your desire is to keep that same energy, but you are running on empty because of what has happened to you, because of what is going on around you, and even because of some people who are messing with you. And as a consequence, where you were going, you're not quite there because you have stalled, stalled. That's the word I want to hang out with for just a few moments because I was introduced to this word stall many years ago and I have only

1:14:35 now had the gall, no I guess the peace of mind to share with you this story. Here's what happened to me. It's in the early days of my ministry and my second car. It was a beautiful car. It looked good but it cost me so much. It cost me so much not in terms of what I paid for it at the beginning but it cost me so much because it was a beautiful lemon. Have you ever seen a beautiful lemon? I'm talking about a car that looked good but it had an allergic reaction to reaching the destination I set out to get to because somehow some way it was going to stall and stop this car was a hot mess let me hasten to say it looked good y'all I stuck with this car as long as I could because it looked good. Don't judge me. Become a swicker because some of y'all have dated a person for as long as you could even though they were no good because they look good. Y'all still not feeling me.

1:15:48 I'm letting you know that I hung with this car. It could not pass a mechanic shop without breaking down. It was a car that looked good, but it cost me a whole lot. I think I'll stop right there because some of y'all are with somebody right now. They look good, but they cost you a whole lot. Yes, my sisters and brothers, that's what was happening with me. And I received an invitation from my good friend and brother who preached here during our church anniversary, Elder Kenneth Duke, to preach for him a revival at his church in Miami, Florida. Check this. I had never been to the MIA and I was looking forward to checking out the palm trees and the scenery of South Beach. I was on my way to Miami for the very first time and so I drove myself to the airport in the car that looked good but was costing me so much and as I'm on Luke 12 going north from Oak Cliff that's my hood I'm on Luke 12 heading north and my sisters and brothers all of a sudden there in Grand Prairie before I could get to the Jefferson Street exit that car that looked good but was no good and cost me so much it began to sputter. I said no you ain't gonna do this today. I've got dreams of going to the MIA. Y'all that's a bar right there. I think I'm back in stride again. You're not gonna do this today. I've got dreams of going to the MIA. It sputtered on me. I messed with the gears and then finally it stopped and stalled. There I am in the left lane on Luke 12. I stopped.

1:17:47 I got to give you this because Deb, I'm listening to Tom Joyner. Now this is before there was satellite radio, before there was syndication such as we see with D.L. Hughley and Ricky Smiley and Dee Dee McGuire who were now all over the nation with many stations. Tom Joyner was a what pioneer in that Tom Joyner had a morning show in Dallas. He would then catch a plane and fly to Chicago and do the evening drive show and then fly back to Dallas that night to get ready to do the morning drive in Dallas. I'm listening to Tom Joyner. I'm jamming to the old school that was then on K-104. The jams are jamming. Gladys is singing that LA proved too much for the man. He couldn't make it so he's leaving of life that he's come to know. He said he's going back to find what's left of his world a world he left behind not so long ago he's leaving on the midnight train to Georgia leaving on the midnight train to Georgia woo woo as the pips said that I'm letting you know my sisters and brothers I'm jamming but all of a sudden that car that looked good and cost me so much it sputtered and it stopped and it stalled where I get the word stall from I got it from the fact that as it was as I stopped and stalled I kept trying to turn the engine over I kept trying to get the car to start y'all looking at me strange like well why didn't you call someone this is before cell phones and so here I am on loop 12 before cell phones trying to get my car to start. The radio is on and all of a sudden they give weather and traffic and the traffic report came and the person doing traffic said, I think it was Lynn Hayes, Lynn Hayes said there is a

1:19:59 stalled car on Luke 12 going north. Y'all, she was talking about me. She's talking about me. I have stalled and now there is a traffic jam that is backed up behind me because I have stalled and now watch this I'm shamed stalled and shamed because something under the hood had gone wrong stalled and shamed because something was wrong on the inside I think I'll park right there because I'm on my way somewhere but can't get where I'm going because I'm stalled because something was broken on the inside. Can I park right there? Because God has me pulling up to somebody's address and if you're honest with yourself you're not where you plan on being. Life has stalled. You have stalled and sometimes we stall because of what's broken on the inside.

1:21:03 Sometimes we stall and then we are shamed and somebody is looking at me right now. That's where you are as good as you look. Don't forget my car looked good but it's stalled. That's why you don't judge people based on what you see. On the outside you don't know what's happening. On the inside you can look good and still be stalled. Somebody is listening to me right now, stalled, looking good, and yet you are stalled because something has gone wrong on the inside. Wait, I can't even stop right there because on top of being stalled, I'm shamed. It's enough to be stalled, but to hear that my car has made the radio time join a show. I'm trying to jam to music and now they say there's a car stalled on loop 12 going north in the left lane and traffic is backing up. That meant that my stalling didn't just mess with me.

1:22:09 It messed with other people and somebody needs to feel that because sometimes you get stalled and it doesn't just mess you up. It messes up people in your life who depend on you, who believe in you, and yet you find yourself stalled. Well, my sisters and brothers, that's exactly what has happened to the offering of the Corinthian Christians. the Corinthian Christians a year prior to this had made a commitment that they were going to be a part of the relief fund that was being organized by the gospel globetrotter and trailblazing theologian from Tarsus the articulate African apostle Paul. Paul had discovered please don't miss this, that there was a terrible thing that was taking place in Jerusalem. In the holy city, the people of God, the Christians were being othered and oppressed. They were being persecuted and pressed. The Bible lets us know that on the one hand, there was a serious famine that had broken out. A famine, watch this, is a reflection of an economic recession that creates economic instability and insecurity. Y'all, we can relate to that because we find ourselves in a hard time economically right now because of an administration with misplaced priorities. An administration, watch this, that can find money for an unconstitutional, unnecessary, unwinnable war that is going on in Iran. Y'all know I got to quote Tupac one more time. You know, it's funny when it rains, it pours. We got money for wars, but we can't feed the poor. What Tupac is declaring, how you going to find money in your big ugly bill for a war that is unconstitutional? It has not

1:24:16 been authorized by Congress and Congress is such a spineless inept peace right now that they have the nerve to allow him to do exactly what he is doing. I'm not even done, but while we're paying for a war that is unwinnable and unconstitutional, we got 140 million Americans who are economically insecure. We got millions of Americans who are food insecure. Y'all, it's a hot mess. We find out where sales end. So many Americans are being thrown off of their insurance plans and now they can't afford groceries. They can't afford gas. They can't afford what? Medicine. They can't afford to pay their mortgage. All of this is going on right now and the clown has the nerve to bring his circus to Dallas this week. I guess he was invited by the mayor of this town. I won't even go there, but now, so the circus is coming to Dallas. Here comes the circus to Dallas as we now have to pay for security. We've got to pay for this, that, and the other all the while while he has become president pickpocket. You know what pickpockets do. Pickpockets will distract you and then take from you what will enrich them. No other president in the history of this nation has made more money off of being the president of the country than the one we have right now.

1:25:58 His corruption knows no bottom. His corruption continues to get worse and worse. And that's why my sisters and brothers, it just blows my mind that we find ourselves with President Pickpocket making money for himself while taking money from the people. And now he's going to have a convention circus in Dallas. All of that is going on right now, y'all. It's a hot mess that's created economic insecurity. Wait, I'm not even done it. It's not just economic insecurity, but the Christians in Jerusalem are experiencing persecution. They are being attacked. They are catching hell. They are being othered and oppressed. Oh, I think it goes together.

1:26:51 You have economic insecurity and being othered and oppressed. Y'all did not get that because that's the kind of country we find ourselves in right now. Does it not blow your mind that up until what some 10 years ago, it was basically not cool to be blatant and bold with your racism? Up until 10 years ago, if you were going to be racist, you did it undercover. But now you've got clowns like Laura Loomer who have the nerve to call our dynamic, competent, brilliant, articulate, dynamic sisters, black, ghetto, female dogs. I'll just do it like that. She calls them that. That messed me up because what messed me up is I ain't heard a word from any of the Republicans to rebuke her other than the one who was the bad built bitch body. Butch body, that's the only one who had something to say.

1:27:56 And I'm simply trying to say you ain't heard a word from the president. You ain't heard a word from the governor. You ain't heard a word from the pastor of First Baptist Church downtown Dallas. Dallas they ain't had nothing to say as this blatant racism is going on you got blatant racism going on and they ain't got nothing to say I ain't even done because you got some Democrats who scared to speak up and say something you got some Democrats who have not called out Laura Loomer and so what's happening is they are being othered and they are being oppressed othered and oppressed othered and oppressed that's what's happening in this country that's what's happening to so many of us we're being uttered and we're being oppressed wait in Jerusalem etymologically I did my homework y'all know the meaning of Jerusalem is foundation of peace ain't that a trip it's the foundation of peace and yet they're catching hell in a city that is named for peace. I got a park right there because just think about the hypocrisy getting attacked and catching hell in a place of peace.

1:29:15 But that's been our story in this country in that so many have not experienced democracy but they've experienced the opposite of democracy hypocrisy in the practice of democracy in this nation in a real sense there's been fascism for the many and democracy for the few that's the kind of nation that we live in but I love it because the book lets us know that Paul my sisters and brothers says listen I've got to advocate and organize for those who are poor and oppressed that's what he's doing he's organizing an offering because he recognizes that if you are a real leader you solve problems you serve people you strategize for power and you see what's possible I just said a whole sermon right there. If you a real good leader, you know leadership solves problems.

1:30:18 How are you going to be a leader and get upset when problems pop up? If you a leader, you're supposed to solve problems, but you solve problems in order to serve people. You serve people because service is what you're supposed to be about. I'm not even done it, but you also strategize for power on behalf of those who have no power, all the while seeing possibilities of what can become. I'm loving this because the text says Paul does that. He advocates for those who can't advocate for themselves. Can I park right there and let you know we have a responsibility to speak up, step up, and show up and advocate on behalf of those who cannot advocate for themselves. Go van, check this out. My late mentor, Emmanuel Scott Sr.

1:31:13 had a line that blew me away. It spoke of what Paul is doing. Dr. Scott said that when you are advantaged, you ought to use your advantages for the advancement of the disadvantaged. I got to park right there because Doc was saying when God blesses you, it shouldn't stop at you, but it should get through you to be a blessing to those who don't have what you have. Y'all still missing your shout. I got to get you. God is good. God will bless you. God will make a way for you. But when God does that, it does not stop at you. Because God, I love this, has a thing for the poor. God loves the poor. And how you not going to love who God loves? I know God loves the poor. Because the Bible says if you give to the poor, You are lending to the Lord.

1:32:07 I know God loves the poor because when heaven's hero, earth's emancipator, our resurrected revolutionary, announced his first sermon, he used as a text and said, the spirit of the Lord God is upon me because he's anointed me to preach good news to the poor. God has a thing for the poor. And so Paul says, I'm going to advocate for those who are poor. I'm going to advocate for those who are oppressed and othered. And that's what we are called to do. But the Bible says while organizing this offering, the Corinthian Christians, they say, yo, Paul, we want to be a part of this. As gifted and talented as we are, we're going to be a part of this. And Paul says, cool in the gang, a year passes and they still have not given. Because somehow what they planned on doing got stalled.

1:33:10 Stalled. And so Paul writes this letter. And when he comes to chapters 8 and 9, chapters 8 and 9 are a offertory appeal. chapters 8 and 9 Paul is basically making an appeal for the offering he talks about what others have done he talks about how good God is and then talks about how in a real sense when you give to God God loves a cheerful giver and then he says your money will grow on trees because listen to how he puts it. If you sow sparingly, you're going to reap sparingly. If you sow generously, you're going to reap generously. And now he gives a theological backing for what it means to be a good steward of what God has blessed you with. Can I shout you? The text says right here in verse 10, It's really good.

1:34:13 Verse 10, he says, God is the one that gives seeds to sowers. God is the one that provides seeds for farmers. And since God does that, God will give you bread to eat and increase what God has blessed you with. And as a consequence, you'll experience a harvest of justice. Now I got to park right here because what he's saying is I need y'all to keep that same energy. Keep that same energy now. I love my subjects and y'all do too. I heard your response when I said keep that same energy. Because it's enough of us here affiliated with or in the culture who know that keep that same energy is used in the context of a conversation when someone watched this wants you to pick up the same energy you had from jump they want you to keep that same energy they're basically saying I don't want you to slow down now I don't want you to turn now and start acting funny I want you to use that same good energy you had before I need you to use that right now you keep that same energy Y'all not getting that.

1:35:32 I thought y'all got it at first. Keep that same energy. It means that whatever you had been doing, I need you to keep that same energy. Whatever you were doing that was good and called you to step up and do the right thing, you keep that same energy. And y'all, the Bible is full of keep that same energy passages. Can I give you just a few? Even the youth shall faint and get weary. Young folk are going to fall, but they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles run and not get weary. Walk and not faint. Keep that same energy. Jesus puts it like this. In this world, you're going to have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. I need you to keep that same energy. Jesus got ready to leave and said, you know what?

1:36:27 I'm about to leave right now. but the things I've done, that's what you're going to do. And greater works than these are you going to do. I need you to keep that same energy. And y'all, I've come by to say, I guess that reminds me of Andre Crouch back in the day. He had a song that said, keep that same energy. Take me back, dear Lord, to the place where I first received you. Take me back, dear Lord, to the place where I first met you. I'm simply saying, he's saying keep that same energy. pastor haynes okay that's cool but i've stalled how do i keep that same energy let me give you these and i'm done number one the text says when you keep that same energy and i love this piece right here god says you can keep that same energy when you recognize and i'm gonna say this real slow because it's fire we have a patron from beyond us when life is life and circumstances are circumstantin and the math ain't mathing who will get in the equation and the sum total will be total will be greater than the problematic parts okay okay I talk fast so I'm gonna slow my roll give it to you one more time we have a patron from beyond us here's your shout a patron from beyond us above us if you please a patron from beyond us who in life is life and circumstances are circumstance in and the math ain't mathing who will get in the equation so the sum total is greater than the problematic parts.

1:38:21 boy that's good because because let's be real life is gonna life let's be real circumstances larie daniel favor says are gonna circumstance and when you put all that together there are times when the math ain't mathin and that will cause you to stall when life makes no sense it will cause you to stall when stuff ain't adding up when you do good but evil is always present when you see folk who are doing bad and they get away with it and then somehow life goes good for them the math ain't math and when the math ain't math then you may stall but that's when God gets in the equation and God says just hang on in there because the sum total is going to add up to a whole lot more than the okay okay so you do recognize I'm using math language Uncle M. Uncle M is a math genius and he recognizes in algebra please don't miss this negative nine times negative 10 equals positive 90. The equation just said negative 9 times negative 10 equals all things working together for good to those who love God and are called according to God's purposes.

1:39:53 Okay, okay. Let me tell you where I got that from. Text says and the one, watch this, who supplies. who provides seed to the sower the word supplies it's gonna get you underline that word supplies because it comes from a very very old greek word that was the that was produced as a result of a real crisis that had taken place it literally means and y'all gonna love this it means on behalf of the choir so okay y'all see me on behalf of the choir because the story behind it is and please don't miss this story behind it is this this choir and an acting group were preparing for a big show to take on the road they practiced they bought the uniforms they rehearsed and they were ready to go on the day they were to take off to go across country for the show that's when they discovered they did not have the money to cover the expenses of the trip they could not get where they were trying to go because they did not have what they needed to get there and that's when somebody behind their back a patron got word of what was going on and the patron surprised them and the patron then covered the expenses of the entire trip and then gave them some extra just in case and so the word supply it means on behalf of the choir because somebody watched this in the midst of a crisis that made them the prisoners of a predicament was working things out behind their back and then opened up a door that they didn't even know they could go through and before you knew it they were surprised by a supply that they never saw coming.

1:41:55 And y'all, that's why the word is, and God who supplies, y'all didn't shout. God supplies. If a patron in Greece will do that back then, what do you think your God will do right now? As long as you are moving in purpose, God says, I'll handle the provision. As long as you are moving with your assignment, then God will put circumstances in alignment and hook you up because God ain't just a patron. God is the plug. And since God is the plug, God will make a way out of no way. God will provide. God will take care of you. God will see you through. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. I am making this up.

1:42:49 Martin Luther King Jr. is 1963 Birmingham Alabama Good Friday and the movement is running out of money they're running out of money and they're running out of people to fill the jails there in Birmingham and get arrested by Bull Connor oh but let me tell you what happened it's Good Friday and King uh Daddy King comes to Birmingham from Atlanta and says Martin I need you to come home and preach Easter Sunday service. It's the biggest service of the year. And Martin King Jr. assembles Benjamin Elijah Mays and a team of advisors in his motel room there at Gaston Motel in Birmingham, Alabama. And y'all, what happened was amazing. King listens to everyone, gets up, goes into his room and prays, comes out dressed to go to jail.

1:43:45 But here's the predicament. They're running out of money. No one else is ready to go to jail. And King has Easter Sunday to preach. He gets up, goes, gets arrested. And while he's in jail, check out what happened. While in jail, some white preachers on Sunday, they put out a letter condemning King. And the movement there in Birmingham as untimely, calling King an outside agitator. Agitator, King takes that paper and begins to write a response in the margins. We now know it as the letter from Birmingham jail, a theology of social justice resistance. And King writes that masterful letter that is now a part of a book and history. And y'all check out what happened while he's doing that in jail, worried about the money. Harry Belafonte, unbeknownst to him in New York, is putting together a fundraiser that raises over $50,000.

1:44:49 Y'all didn't get it. So while he's in jail, something happens to him that brings something out of him that wouldn't have come out had it not happened to him. And then behind his back, Harry Belafonte is raising money because God is so good. God will work things out behind your back while you're trying to figure stuff out God is already working things out God, has God ever worked behind your back? Have you ever been over here trying to figure out what's happening over there and by the time you got there God had already made a way God had already worked things out God will work things out behind your back but there's something else the text says text says you've got to have a perspective on what you have so that you can be a good steward and watch God do more than what you expect because it's your mindset that will set you up or set you back mindset Paul says the same God who gives seeds to a sower. God says I want you to have a mindset watch this toward money where you see it not just as currency you spend but as seeds you sow.

1:46:25 Because if you have the wrong mindset and some folk have the wrong mindset. Oh you've heard them talk haven't you? I just ain't good with money. You've heard them. They have the wrong mindset. They see money, currency they spend, not see they sow. So they wear their seeds. and then wonder why there's no harvest oh god okay and so they buy what they want beg for what they need they they they have the wrong mindset they have the wrong perspective and so I talked to uh I talked to because we got some great farmers in this church uh who know how to do gardens like like Deacon Wallace can do a garden like nobody's business and so we got folk who know how to grow stuff we got a community garden right here at the church I've discovered about gardening and about farming that it's about what you plant it's about when you plant it's about where you plant and it's about waiting and watching for the harvest that's beyond your control that's some good stuff so so it's about where what when and waiting and when you and when you sow seed you're investing in the ground and Paul is saying to them that when you sow seed you invest in the ground of giving to the work of God that seed is in good ground and the harvest is due to come and then when you sow that seed you don't expect the harvest tomorrow but you know the harvest is on the way because God is moving God is navigating God is operating and setting the stage for the harvest that is to come here it is and I'm done because finally the text says this and I love it it makes me shout and that is beyond your perspective God gives a picture of what's coming

1:48:34 here it is a picture of what's coming and he uses the word your harvest of justice in every other translation it says harvest of righteousness and that's because there's a Greek word and I've shared this with you before I learned this during my PhD studies from the brilliant Dr. Shively Smith and that is that when the Geneva when the King James Version came along uh old King James decided to take certain words that from the in the Geneva Bible were translated justice and translate them into righteousness the Geneva Bible the older Bible had translated the Greek word justice but King James said nah we're going to translate it righteousness because King James is running the British Empire that is colonizing most of the known world and so why would you want justice because if you use justice that means you've got to deal with the fact that you're colonizing countries of color and using your power to abuse but when you use righteousness people will take that and think of an individualized response an individual it's Rosa Parks praying on the back of the bus as opposed to resisting injustice on that bus. It's personal piety. It's personal righteousness. I know y'all not loving this right now, but I promise you I'm about to shout you, just hang with me. And so when Clarence Jordan does it, he says, no, it's not going to be translated righteousness. I'm going to translate it justice because the Greek word is not just about an individual's piety. It's about the good that you were doing that produces a harvest that

1:50:41 is much bigger than yourself. It's a harvest of righteousness, a harvest of justice. And y'all, whatever else you want to say about our journey in this nation, we've been blessed by those who planted seeds and then we experienced a harvest of justice and so I thank God that Harriet kept on planting. I thank God that Sojourner kept on planting. I thank God that Frederick Douglass kept on planting. I thank God that Ida Bell Wells went to planting. I thank God that there were those who went to war in World War I and came back determined to be first-class citizens, and they went to planting. Paul Robeson, Marcus Garvey, they all went to planting. World War II happened, and they came back and said, we ain't gonna fight for democracy over there and not have it right here. And y'all, they went to planting, and all of a sudden, we had Charles Hamilton Houston.

1:51:47 He started planting and then we had Thurgood Marshall started planting. Rosa Parks, September Clark, Ella Baker, they started planting. Martin and Malcolm and Medgar and Marcus all began to plant. And before you know it, we had a harvest of the 64 civil rights bill, the 65 voting rights bill, the 68 housing bill, because somebody planted and we reap the harvest.

1:52:20 And that's why we can't go back. So I see what's going on. I see what's going on. It's cool. Let me give you this so you'll be okay. Because y'all are sitting there and you're saying, okay, but what about when you were stalled on Luke 12 and you were shamed? And you've been sitting here the whole sermon feeling sorry for me because I was stalled and shamed on Luke 12. Y'all, you see me now. I didn't stay there evidently. I did not stay stalled. I'm here right now because the stalling don't last always. I think that's a shout for somebody right now. Stalling don't last always. And here is what happened. I'm sitting there shamed and stalled and all of a sudden no cell phone. I have not been to a pay phone. This tow truck pulls up beside me, gets in front of me, And then a black man gets out.

1:53:18 The black man gets out and the black man looks at me and says, I just heard about you on the Tom Joyner morning show. And so I put my head down. He said, don't worry about it. I'm on my way to work. And so since I saw you, I figured I might as well help you out. Listen, I had not called him and he stopped because he was on his way to work. Because God has a way of putting the right folk in your life at the right time who do exactly what you need. Anybody ready to shout right there? Do you want to thank God for the right folk who showed up at the right time and gave you exactly what you needed? And y'all, he then hooked me up and he said, all right, where are you going? I said, I'm trying to get to the airport. He looked at me and says, my name is such and such. I shook his hand. I said, my name is Frederick Haynes. He said, Haynes? I said, yes. He said, where do I know that name from? And then he said, oh my God, hold on. Are you the son, moms, the son of Reverend Frederick Haynes Jr.? And so I said, yeah, that was my dad. He said, oh my God, your dad and I and your mom, we went to Salem Institutional Baptist Church in South Dallas together where your dad was the assistant pastor under Reverend L.B. Nelson. I said, Nelson was my God daddy and his wife was my God mother.

1:54:40 He said, oh my God, he said, it's a small world. I said, yes, it is. He said, your dad was a good man. As a matter of fact, he let me borrow some money. I never ever paid him back because I didn't have it, but I have it now. And your dad is gone. But look how God set this thing up. He said, you're going to the airport. I said, yes, sir. He said, I'm about to pay your dad back. I'm going to get you to the airport and I'm going to take care and tow your car wherever you tell me. I said, well, my car was bought used so I don't want you to take it to the dealership. He said, I got somebody. I got a brother who knows and specializes in this car right here. I said, this is a hot messable car. He said, don't worry. I'll cover it and make sure he takes care of it. I go to Miami, preach a five-night revival. I get my honorarium.

1:55:35 Thank you, Jesus. Now I can pay for the car when I get back. I land in Dallas, take a cab to go pick up my car. And guess who met me there? The brother who owed my daddy some money. And the brother says to me, listen, I just want you to know that your car has been paid for. Your car has been taken care of. I said, man, you didn't have to do that. He said, yes, I did. as good as your father was to me. There was no way I'm not going to take care of you. I'm not doing it because of you. I'm doing it because of who your daddy is. I'm not doing it because of you. I'm doing it because your father was good to me. I'm going to make a way for you because of who your father was and your father is. I'm done.

1:56:27 But is there anybody here who knows I ain't just talking about my earthly daddy. Is there anybody here who knows your father is rich in houses and land? Is there anybody here who knows your father will touch the right people, who will do the right thing? The father is good. God will take care of you. God will see you through. Keep that same energy and do what God has called you to do. Keep that energy. Bring the whole tithe into God's storehouse. Watch God open the windows of heaven. Keep that same energy. And seek first the kingdom of God. And God's justice and all these things will be added unto you. Keep that same energy.

1:57:22 I've made up my mind. I'm going to keep that energy. If I can help somebody as I pass along. If I can cheer somebody with a word or song. If I can show somebody that's traveling wrong in my living. then my living was not being there because I'm going to keep that same energy hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah listen let's pray God thank you for your word thank you for your energy thank you for calling us for such a time as this. You know the times we're in?

1:58:15 The fact that so many are hurting and need to be blessed by how you use us. Right now, may we recommit ourselves to a life of giving, a life of service, a life of advocating and standing in solidarity with those who are suffering oh god i pray your blessings now upon someone in the house who is stalled god they've stalled and some stuff is broken insides they've stalled and they need your healing. They need your tow truck to pick them up so they can make the dream you've destined for them a reality.

1:59:13 So as only you can, pick them up, heal them from the inside out and have your way. Have your way. Save the lost, bring home to your church those who have no church home. But please have your way in Jesus' name. Listen, as Christians continue to pray, if you're online or in the house and you're not in right relationship with God through Jesus Christ, I promise you in life you're going to stall. You're going to stall and you can experience show enough shame. But that doesn't have to be the last word on your life. God is still in the towing business. God is still in the business of going under the hood. and fixing what's wrong on the inside to make you who you should be so you can then get where it is you're destined to go and so if you're here and you're not saved you're not in right relationship with God through Jesus Christ you're here and you know good and well it's time to get your life straight with God you're in the right place it's the right time and no no it's not an accident that you here. God planned it. God set this whole thing up.

And you know it's time to give your life to the Savior who wants to come in fix things and make you all you can and should be so you can reach your destiny wherever your Miami is. And so if you're here and you're not saved you're not in right relationship with God through Jesus Christ I've got some wonderful men and women of God who are down front they're prayer warriors they're gonna pray for you in a private area and then introduce you to how you can begin your walk with Jesus Christ who will save you from stalledness and so if you're here and you're not saved you're not a Christian you're here not in right relationship with God through Jesus Christ won't you right now here it is stand up step out of the aisle you're in come on down front and give your life to Jesus Christ that's why you're here so you might as well stand up step out come on down and say yes to Jesus do it right now God is speaking God's spirit is moving won't you come right now God bless you I see you I love it I love it somebody else somebody else I'm so glad they're coming you know why because you out there and you were saying well I don't want to be the first one or should I go right now and then God touch them to let you know yeah it's okay you're in the right place it's the right time to come on and do the right thing won't you right now stand up step out come on down and give your life to Jesus Christ preacher I got that part right but in all honesty I feel God leading me to join church I'd like to join church today we'd love to have you I'd love to be your pastor we want you in our church family if you're here and you want to join church a church that does what we do because you feel called to be a part of that kind of work won't you right now stand up step out come on down and let's join church preacher I used to go to church I stopped going but I'm ready to get back in church if that's you today's a good day to get back in church stand up
