33 Well, I want to preach for just a few moments this morning. Can I preach? Give me 15 minutes. I want you to open your Bibles with me. I have never shared nor seen what I'm going to share with you this morning about water baptism. But it's so much more than water baptism. This is a word from the Lord, and I've got to get it out. And I may not preach it in the next service, but I'll have it on tape. Amen. And it'll be done. But I want to read in Exodus chapter 3.
09 And just... Look with me in Exodus. whatever verse I gave you, my Bible is so marked up, I don't know which one is the one. That's it, thank you. And they will heed your voice and you shall come and the elders of Israel, the king of Egypt, they shall say, the Lord God of the Hebrews has met us now, please let us go three journeys. They will, notice God's telling him, they will heed your voice. And now in Exodus chapter four, Go to Exodus 4, and I want to read the next verse. Thank you. And it should come to pass that if they will not believe these things, I'll give signs, neither hearken also these two signs. And if after these two signs, God tells Moses, because Moses had a faith problem.
07 Moses was scared of Pharaoh, and he was afraid that he would not listen to what he told him when he walked up with a stick and a good beard and sandals. and said, let my people go. And he said, but God had already given him a promise. I had him throw that. God had already said, they'll hearken to your voice. You got to take God at his promise. God, if God tells you something, I don't care how long it takes. I don't care how long it's, what you've been through to get there. Don't give up on what God told you. He told you they'll hearken, they'll hearken. But he didn't believe it. He had a faith problem. And I'm glad God didn't give up on us when we start doubting. And so he says this. He says, I'm going to give you three signs. And I'll just quickly tell you what they were. He said, what's that in your hand? He said, it's a stick. And he threw it down. The stick became a serpent.
59 He picked it up by the tail. And it was a poisonous serpent. How do you know that? Because the Bible said he ran and fled. And he picked it up by the tail because God told him to. And it turned back into a stick. And he said, this is something I want you to do. I'm giving you authority. That represents authority. I'm giving you authority. And if you get there and Pharaoh didn't believe you, throw that down. And the magicians did the same thing, only one problem. That snake swallowed all the magician snakes. And he picked it back up and it became a rod or a stamp. And then he told him, take your hand. He took his hand and he said, put it in your garment. And he put it in his garment, pull it out. And it was totally filled with leprosy. It was withered and leper. He put it back in, pulled it out. It was totally healed. He said, in other words, I want you to tell him that I'm a healer, I'm a cleanser of leprosy, I'm a miracle-working God. I want us to boldly declare this morning that our God is still a miracle-working God.
56 I'm tired of people not, don't ever settle for not believing that God can do the same kind of miracles today that he's done in the past. And then this is the one I missed. This is the one I've never preached. This is the one I have, how did I miss this? And he said, I'll give you one more trick if that doesn't work.
23 That's what I said, you know. He said, take water of the river, that's the Nile River, and pour it upon dry land, and the water which you take out of the river shall become blood on the dry ground. I'm going to turn water into blood. I'm going to do it, and it'll be a sign to Moses. I have the power to take water and turn it into blood. So what is amazing about this to me is water would be turned into blood as the final sign. And then you remember it was Moses' first plague. was to turn every river. And it says this in the book of Exodus, every river, every pond, every creek, every body of water, everybody say all the water.
22 It even said if you had a pitcher, a wooden pitcher, that water would be turned into blood in the wooden pitcher. If you had some ice water or something that you were drinking, in that moment, anywhere there was water, this is a supernatural miracle it would be transformed when it was because if you have faith in me to do it and pour it out I'll do it and I'll transform it you mix it with faith and the water becomes blood so the water would be turned into blood would be the first miracle and when you understand that the streams were filled and all the water wherein there was water that was turned into blood. If you want the blood of Jesus Christ applied to you, I'm going to preach it like I want to. Get in the water because this is a type of water baptism. All the water, wherever it is, was turned into blood.
30 If you want forgiveness of sin, confess your sins. The moment that you confess your sins and say, Lord, cleanse me in the blood, He forgives you and your name's written in the book of life. But if you want to wash away the sins, if you want to wash away, He turns the water into blood.
52 Symbolically, get in the water if you want mercy. Get in the water if you want the past to be over. The water mixed and baptized in Jesus' name, Acts 2.38. Repent, every one of you, repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. And you shall receive the Holy Ghost, for this promise is unto you and to your children, them that are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call. And then in Matthew 28, it says in Matthew chapter 28, the Great Commission go into all the nations, baptizing them in the name. Why? Why? I'm going to tell you why in a minute. You're going to get this. Baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And lo, this is the last thing Jesus said.
45 And he goes up, and lo, I'm with you always, even until the end of the world. Notice this, Moses' first plague was turning water. The first plague that he pronounced was water turning into blood. Jesus shows up in the flesh. He came and the scripture said that the first miracle that he performed was the turning of water into wine. And wine represents his blood. Wine in the Bible is a type. This wine, Jesus said in the Last Supper, this fruit of the vine represents my blood which is shed for you. Isn't this something? The first plague that Moses brought against Egypt was turning water into wine or turning water into blood. And then Jesus, his first miracle, his first sermon, his first big deal was to turn water into wine or water into the type of blood.
45 God is teaching us that the waters of baptism deliver us and cleanse us and wash us and free us from the power of the past. You've been washed in the blood and once you've been washed in the blood, you need to just add water and get in the water and he turns, you take literally a cleansing that takes place. Let me give you another quick example of what I'm talking about. In Leviticus chapter 14, there's another connection to water and the blood. The story is told of when a person had leprosy and they were healed of leprosy or a miracle, they seemed to be getting better. What was to take place was they were to go to the priest and the priest would take an earthen vessel, that's just a vessel made of something pottery or whatever, and they were to take two birds and they were to take one of the birds, the first one, and sacrifice it and cut it and let the blood of that bird drain into that cup.
54 Now I want to ask you a question. How much blood does a little bird have? I mean, it's not enough to deal in. And that's why, this is an important point I'm making. This is what I saw, and I want you to get it. There was not enough blood from one little bird. And then they were to take the second bird. Look at this beautiful type. They were to take, quote, cedar wood, type of the cross. And they were to take scarlet threads, type of the cross. Tie the wings of the second bird down on cedar wood, like a cross, a bird on a cross. And they were to dip that bird in that earthen vessel that had the blood of the innocent animal that had been shed. But they knew it wasn't enough blood, so they said, but mix, the high priest was to mix water with blood. And if you mix the blood with water, the blood is enough.
56 There's enough blood, and in the faith of the blood, it transforms the water into blood. Now, this is so important because one of the commentaries said there was no way that they could have gotten enough blood without the water. All right, now let me throw this at you. I'm not making a doctrine out of this, but it's worth thinking about. I think at the very least, we don't emphasize enough water baptism. So here's what I want you to understand. When I think about Jesus coming in his humanity, and he was only one man, he only had a certain amount of blood. How's he going to wash the whole world? How's he going to cleanse the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world? And you've got to have blood without the shedding of blood.
52 There's no remission of sin. Well, the human body only has five liters of blood, approximately 1.3 gallons of blood at the most. and it's estimated that there are literally, someone did a study, 28,340 drops of blood in every human being. 28,340. So that means there's enough blood for 28,340 families. If the blood of Jesus, if we don't figure out something else, it's not enough blood. But when you take the blood of Jesus by faith and apply it to your heart and you confess him as your Savior and you get in the water and the preacher baptizes you, here's the magic mixer. He takes the blood and the water and the name of Jesus.
50 And when you go down, he turns water into wine and you're washed completely. and when you come up, you are resurrected in new life. I thought you'd get more excited about that. This water over here, it just came from the Gainesville Water Department. This is nothing. It's warm, too. It's nothing. I might get in there. That feels good. But, you know, it's just water. But when you mix it with faith and you walk up here and you say, I'm an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. And you don't just get up here to get wet. You get up here because you believe that Jesus, if it was the last thing on his mind when he left this world, go preach the gospel and make sure you baptize them.
47 Why? Because, how much time have I got? Two minutes. I just want to say if you're online, wherever you are, and you want to be baptized, Pastor James, our online pastor, we need to figure out a way to do this because you can get baptized in your jacuzzi. You can get baptized in your swimming pool. You can get baptized in your pond. You can get baptized in your bathtub. You can get baptized in the creek. You can get baptized in the river. You can get baptized in Lake Lanier. You can get baptized in the ocean. I just want to say there's enough blood. Am I going to do this? There's enough blood for Spartan Bird. There's enough blood because we got a tank over there. And if you get in that water, it turns into blood. Hallelujah. There's enough blood for Alpharetta, Midtown, Brazelton, Gwinnett, Orange County, Metro. The blood is coming into the prisons. Hayes State, Whitworth, Hall County, Phillips State Prison, Hall County Jail.
44 I want to preach like I want to preach. I took the time to write it down. I just want to say in the name of Jesus, you know, I just, I don't know how we're going to do this, But I'd like to have a mass online baptism. And I want to do it like this. In the mighty name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus is washing away sins of thousands and millions of people who are getting baptized. And I'm just going to do it in America, but in Alabama, in Arizona, in Arkansas, and in Alaska, in Colorado, in California, in Connecticut, in Delaware, in Florida, in Georgia, and in Hawaii. the blood, the blood, the blood in Idaho, in Illinois, in Indiana, in Iowa, in Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana. And if you know somebody in one of these states, plead the blood. Come on. Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and lastly, Wyoming.
08 May the blood of Jesus Christ flow like a river. Hallelujah. All across the land and around the world. All right. Y'all come on. hallelujah i'll preach part two in the next service Thank you, Jesus.
37 Thank you, Jesus. Somebody raise your hands. How many of you are glad you're baptized? Come on in. The water's just fine. I said, how many of you are glad you're baptized in the mighty name of Jesus? Good morning. What's your name? Donna Bible. Donna, how long have you been coming to Free Child? For off and on since last July. Wonderful. and have you given your heart to the Lord recently or is this, what's going on? Well, I knew I loved him ever since I was a little girl, but I rededicated my life after I come out of addiction.
15 And you know what they would do after they dipped the bird in? Ooh, I can't believe I forgot this. Is the Bible said they would take them to an open field. They would take that bird, that dirty bird that had been dipped in the blood and the water. And they would untie the strings that had it bound. And they would set it free. And it would become a free bird.
45 She said, I'm fixing to become a free bird. So when you come up out of this watery grave and the blood, the water that's been turned to the blood of Jesus, and it washes you and your family and you come up, you're a free bird. You can soar, you can fly. No more bondage, freedom in the name of Jesus. Here it is, this is the name, this is the mixer. The name of Jesus takes ordinary water and turns it into blood. I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord. Everybody shout freedom. Praise God. Praise God. Good morning. What's your name? Tommy Hill. Tommy, what's the Lord done for you?
38 January 25th, I took my last drink of alcohol, and I found Jesus. How long had you been an alcoholic? 55 years. I've been an alcoholic since I was 19. I was an orphan, abused mentally, physically, sexually as a child. I had fame. I had fortune. I didn't have Jesus. And January 25th, I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. So I took my last. How much would you drink in a day?
16 A bottle of Fireball and a case of beer every day. I was, I was, it was bad. I lost two marriages. I lost all my children, battles with courts, all that. But somehow five years ago, God put a wonderful angel in my life. She's been a part of your church since the day you started. I don't, the Thrill Kills. Yes. Yeah, Amy Hill, her family, she was, she always said to me, she goes, I see a king in you. I didn't know what she was talking about. I was in a motorcycle club. January 25th, I gave up being an outlaw biker. I found, I went to a ministry. I couldn't do this by myself. I dropped to my knees, asked, Lord, you know, come into my heart. Take this away.
08 And I found, I found Made for More Ministry here in Oakwood. and by the grace of God for five and a half months now he has God's done miracles my relationship with my wife it's awesome I got peace I don't have the anger I don't have addiction I want to serve God wherever he takes me whatever he wants from me I want to go I want to do I want to go help other orphans and I want to do missionary work. This is my church. I want to serve this church no matter what God wants from me. I don't care what it is. If I put a tent in your backyard, I'm right here to serve.
59 That touches my heart. What a testimony. You believe what I just preached? Yes, sir. A hundred percent. You believe he's turning this water into wine in the name of Jesus? All for me. That's it. all for you. I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Good morning. What's your name? Shane Bailey. Oh yeah. All right. You got some support over there. Yes, sir. That's my family and friends. And have you made a decision for the Lord recently? How How long you been coming to the church? I think since I was about four years old. And I'm just, I've been so lukewarm for so long. And about a month ago, it was about, say, 3 a.m.
55 I had a dream about the rapture. Scared the heck out of me. You did good on that. And I woke up and I sent Pastor Tucker a message. And I just texted him, I got to talk to you, man. I gotta get some stuff off my chest. And I think it was about maybe two weeks ago or three weeks ago. And at youth, I just got all that off my chest with him, sat down and prayed. And then I prayed with Pastor Jacob. And they really helped me out with a lot of stuff. I love y'all. You helped me out so much. You helped me get back on the straight path. This is what it's all about. It's so interesting that God would use a dream. I agree.
49 If God can't get you while you're awake, he doesn't play fair. He'll come at you, bring you a nightmare. You ready? Let's baptize him. We baptize you. Go ahead, guys. We baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Praise God. Praise God. Yeah, that's the cry of freedom. Awesome. Hallelujah.
14 You going to be at Forward Conference, buddy? Yeah, we'll see you. He said yes, sir. Good morning. How are you? I'm good. How about you? Good. How old are you? I'm 16. That's amazing. Why are you doing this at 16? I got saved at 12, and I just wanted to wait until I was a little older to do this to make sure I understood the importance of it. And I know the Bible talks about baptism, and I just want to follow in Jesus' example and do this today. So great. Have you recently made a commitment to the Lord, or is it just? I made a commitment when I was 12, but I kind of want to, like, refresh it just because being a teenager, there's a lot. So this is your first time being baptized in your life? Yes, sir. This is awesome. You got parents here, family? My family's on there, my friends. I know you're proud of it. What a miracle. Well, you got a great future.
