19 but your wife and your daughter and her husband and some grandkids are here. Would the family stand? Would you please stand? Welcome them. We're so honored. I cannot imagine what you have been through. Would you stand to your feet one more time at all of our campuses? And Lord, we just pray for Pastor Soon. We just pray for his family and his great congregation in Seoul, Korea. We pray for favor in the eyes of the people who will decide his future. We pray thy kingdom come and thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And we pray for a great revival to hit South Korea and hit America and hit the entire planet with your glory and with your power and with your presence like never before. And God, we pray for this man and we thank you for this man and we bless this man and we thank you for the price that he has paid.

26 We thank you for it. Would you honor him? would you help him? Would you undergird him? Would you protect him? Would you bless and keep his family, even his family that have had to move here and are living in Atlanta, but they attend this church every weekend. May the power and the Holy Spirit just minister to his wife and to his family in ways that only you can do and bless this young man.

59 God, you may even raise him up to be president of South Korea one of these days. We don't know what you're doing, but you make all things work together for the good to them that are called according to your purpose. And I don't want to get them in more trouble than they're already in, but God is in control and God is able to take what the enemy meant for evil and turn it for good in Jesus name. Give them a good, God bless you. We love you. Bless you, God. Thank you so much. Thank you. Wow. A few years ago, I was invited to the State Department and had a very intimate dinner with the Secretary of State at that time and about eight other people.

02 and then he began to go through the nations and the kind of back then it was ISIS that was killing so many Christians and he began to tell and show on maps what the secretary of state did of the Christians that were being persecuted all over the planet and then we began to hear personal stories and it moved me to my core. And the one thing that came out of that is he looked at us preachers and he said, the greatest thing you can do is use your pulpits to tell people about the persecuted Christians. They're dying. They're being slaughtered all over the world. And when you put these stories on Instagram and Facebook, when you tell and use your platforms to tell, you don't understand how much hope it brings to someone being held in a two by two cell in the middle of a mountain, not seeing the sunshine for five months. You don't understand the impact when you, when you take your voice and use it, I'm simply saying to you, speak up for the persecuted church, speak up for them every chance, every time you hear a story. And I do, I do thank God for, for this amazing opportunity. And we're going to get this out on our social media and retweet it, get it out. We got 10 days to help and we're making phone calls and we're reaching out to people in the highest forms of government. And they already have invited him in and, and the, the president met with him and told his story and others are telling his story. And we're doing all that we can do to say, God help him and help his church because we're all one. We're one in Christ.

01 If you believe that, say amen. And that's why we continue to preach the gospel, because it's the only hope of the world. Joshua chapter 2 is where I'm going this morning. Joshua chapter 2. Now Joshua, the son of Nun, sent out two men from Achaia grove to spy secretly, saying, go view the land, especially Jericho. And they went, notice the comma, and they went, comma, and came to the house of a harlot named Rahab and lodged there. there it's interesting that Moses told them to go or Joshua told them to go I should say into the land and spy it out it's time to cross the river and take the promised land and they went and then it puts a comma a comma is a slight pause a comma is something that says there's something afterwards, but we're going to break the rhythm of this sentence.

20 And I want you to stop and we'll just stop there. We're breaking into this message. They went, comma, and the comma means something's coming after the pause. why are they pausing? Because they knew why they were there. Joshua never told them to go to a harlot's house. Sometimes you have to read in between. He never told them. They were not born again. They were not Holy Spirit filled. They were not Bible believing believers. they were Hebrews that had heard the law that Moses gave and now Joshua was their new leader and they'd been in the desert for 40 years.

16 And why were they at the harlot's house? There's only a few options. Joshua never told them to go there. Maybe it was the first door that they saw when they realized they were being followed by the king's assassins. Maybe they thought it was a hotel.

39 Maybe they didn't notice, as history tells us, that they would have tied a red rope on the doorknob to advertise their trade if it was a house of prostitution. We're not told those things. Mercifully, God put a comma. and only they know and God knows and God ain't telling. God just said they went comma and then boom, they're at the harlot's house. Why there? I thank God for the times that he just puts a comma to the untold and the unknown. His grace covers. and even though they may not have had any good intentions of being there, God was working in it through it all.

44 Let me show you another comma that I'm talking about for a moment and then I'll give you the title of the message because I'm preaching God put those kind in His bloodline. God puts those kinds of people in his bloodline. Rahab the harlot, two men who went to that place. They were not ordered by Joshua certainly to go there. And God just put a comma, mercifully. In Hebrews 8 and verse 12, for I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, comma. and their sins and iniquities, I will remember no more, period. God says, I'll be merciful. I'll put a comma.

36 I'll stop, pause, but that's not the end. That's not how the story's gonna stop. That's not how I'm going to allow this circumstance to end. I'm going to finish something and I'll put a period not a comma I thought about how that God put those kinds of people in his bible what's beyond the comma the bible didn't tell us what happened after the comma it just says they end up at Rahab's house we don't know why they chose that place. Somewhere in our lives, there are things that have happened and we ought to be thankful for God's divine commas, the untold story, the unknown, but by his grace, by his kindness, by his mercy, he said, I will show mercy to your unrighteousness, comma, and to your sins and iniquities I will remember no more. The grace of God settles things forever when it gets under the blood. And we don't know exactly why those men went there. They didn't have necessarily good intentions. But the truth is God takes all things and he is able to work miracles out of bad situations and horrible mistakes. He said, I will remember your sins no more. How can a God who knows everything forget anything? And yet if God wants to think out of his mind, our sins and our iniquities, and he says, it's a comma. And there's many more things. People know things about you, but people don't know everything, only you and God. And the devil loves, he knows it.

44 And he loves to hound you. He loves to, like a glob of gloom, cause you to feel like you're a failure and God could never use somebody like you. But I'm preaching that God put those kind in the bloodline. That God is a God who says there's nobody out of my reach. There's nobody that my grace and my blood cannot cleanse and save. Let me tell you what I'm talking about. Rahab is introduced to us in Joshua as Rahab the harlot. And then in Hebrews chapter 11 in verse 31, it calls her a harlot again. By faith, the harlot Rahab perished not. And then James in two in verse 25 said, likewise was not Rahab the harlot. Three times the Bible calls her a harlot. If the Bible says it three times, that's what she was. But she shows up again in Matthew chapter 1 and verse 4 and 5.

56 and Solomon begot Boaz of Rahab. Solomon, according to Josephus, the Jewish historian, Solomon was one of the two spies. And when he went inside of that house, he met this woman who had become the mother of a man named Boaz, named Rahab, the harlot. But notice she's not called the harlot because she's getting in the bloodline of Jesus Christ. This whole chapter is listing all of the lineage of Jesus Christ. It's listing the genealogy of Jesus Christ. And in this chapter is not only Rahab. Oh, but there's another one. There's Ruth. Ruth was a Moabite.

49 Do you know where the Moabite tribe came from? Noah slept with his daughters after he got drunk and produced a tribe called the Moabites. And she was a Moabite and she fell in love with Boaz, the harlot's son. My God, this thing ought to be rated X rated. If you keep reading, then it brings up not only Ruth and it brings up Rahab, the harlot, But then it starts talking about Tamar. Tamar covered her face, stood outside the street, knew that her father-in-law, Judah, was coming on a business trip out of town to her town and she dressed up like a prostitute, kept her face disguised, got him to go to Motel 6 and sleep with him and had twins. I mean, Jesus, couldn't you find any better women to make your great, great grandmothers? One is Rahab the harlot. One is Tamar. One is Ruth the Moabitess.

04 And then it even mentions, and Jesse, they produced Jesse. Then Jesse had David and David that committed adultery with Bathsheba, and they produced Solomon. All of this leading up to Jesus Christ showing up in a physical body on planet Earth. God put those kind in his bloodline. And I don't care what you've done or where you've been, God can put a comma, and he says, that may be the condition now. But if you get in my bloodline, I'll change the comma to a period. It is finished. You are a new creation. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. Hallelujah.

56 Praise the Lord. And Matthew did not call her a harlot once she got in the bloodline. She was the great, great, great grandmother of Jesus Christ. three times this woman. I mean, if the Lord would have came to me and said, Jensen, sit down with me and help me come up with some women to make the great-grandmother and the great-great-grandmother and the great-great-great-grandmother and the great-great-great-grandmother of Jesus Christ. Since, you know, I'm going to put God in a human body. I would have said, let's go with Sarah. let's go with rebecca no scandals let's go with uh rachel let's go with deborah let's get deborah is a warrior for god but god says no no no let's go with rahab the harlot let's go with Tamar, the prostitute, fake prostitute. Let's go with Ruth, the Moabitess. Let's go with Bathsheba, the adulterer.

07 why why would God do that because this woman made a decision. to get the bloodline in her family. Joshua 2 and verse 13, she said to those messengers, here's another kind of insight. They told her why they were there. They told their secret. Probably because that's the same thing that Samson did. He told Delilah all his secrets. That's what people do when they've been intimate. What I'm trying to preach to you is Joshua 2 and 13 said, when she heard why they were there and what was about to happen and how that the walls of Jericho were about to fall and they were about to be invaded and the whole city was cursed, it was so wicked.

08 God said, don't touch or take anything from it. And I curse that place. It'll never be rebuilt. And if anybody does try to rebuild it, a curse will come upon them. and everything in there is cursed. But she said one thing, swear to me, my father, my mother, my brothers, my sisters. She was thinking about saving others before she thought about saving herself. And those men who were there not for the right reason, but when the bloodline, which is the red cord, represents the bloodline of Jesus Christ, it was used, this is a fact, The color red was the color of harlotry. Harlotry. And to this day, that's where things like the red light district comes from. So she takes something that was on her doorknob, recognizing that that was a house of prostitution.

12 And at their command, the Bible called them messengers of God. Look how the blood, when you get the blood in, they didn't show up like messengers of God, but they became messengers of God. And she took that off of the front door and she threw it outside the house, the back window and tied it to the back window. And they said, when the red cord is on the backside of that window, it will say to our soldiers, everyone in the house that's Standing that will be the only house standing They are to remain alive and not die. They're under the bloodline what is so amazing to me is what she was saying when she took that cord off the front door and hung it out that window she was saying i'm going out of business and i found a new god and i found a new way to live and it's not just for me but i want my family I want the bloodline and those kind are going to be put into the bloodline.

28 I'm simply preaching to you today that God knows everything about you. He knows what the comma represents. And he says, it's not more mighty than my bloodline. And when you understand that, when you understand that she got touched when they began to tell her. She said, oh, I've heard. I've heard of your God. Listen to this. She heard it third and fourth hand. She did not have a Bible. She did not have a praise team. She did not have a great church. She did not have a pastor. She knew nothing. She was a complete heathen, lost person. But she said, I've heard the stories of people who've come in here and Amorite told someone else and they told someone else about how that your God is the God who rolled back the Red Sea and your God is the God who led them with a cloud of fire by night and a cloud by day and your God is the God who made the water come out of the rock and make sure that the people didn't die and sustained them for 40 years and I've heard how your God And she said, and it melted my heart.

49 I love that verse. She said, our hearts melted when we heard third hand and fourth hand testimonies of who your God was. we've got the Bible, we've got the Holy Spirit, we've got the church, we've got the new covenant of blood and the cross, we've got all of these things. How long has it been since you had your heart melted at the fact that you were saved? And here's a woman who never heard it firsthand. She heard stories and rumors of who God was and it melted her heart. she got melted by a third hand story. What does it take to melt you? We become, after you've been in this a long time, after you've done this a long time, suddenly something happens to us and we begin to get colder.

47 And if we don't watch it, nothing moves us. Nothing melts our heart. I've seen people come in and the reason I like to stand back there and stand down here and shake hands a lot of times is I get to hear the stories of people, people who've never been in church, people who've never been raised in this, people who've been in other faiths. And I've met someone the other day back at the door when I was shaking hands a couple of Sundays ago. And he stood there with himself and two other people. And he said, we were Jehovah's witnesses. We were in the Mormon church. He said, we've been raised in it for generations. I walked into this church and something got a hold of me. He's standing there crying. His heart is melded. And if we're not careful, what I'm preaching is we will get so used to this that the sacred becomes common.

41 That's what happened to Achan. When he rushed into Jericho, God said, don't touch anything in here because I want this to be sacred. I want this to be because they were going to attack 10 cities. and this was the first city, God said, it's the tithe and you don't touch the tithe. But he saw Babylonian garments and he saw wedges of gold and silver and he secretly hid them and took them to his tent. In other words, the man who was raised in it, who saw God do all of those mighty feats and all the plagues and all of those things, the sacred became common. But Rahab, there was something about this woman that God saw her heart, that she took the same cord that had advertised her trade to the whole city and she put it up in faith as a symbol of the blood.

43 She took the common and made it sacred. And I'm afraid sometimes we're guilty. Those of us who've been in it, I'll preach to myself. I asked the Lord this week, when's the last time my heart was melted? When I read that and her heart melted just at hearing third-hand stories. But we've been saved. We've been gloriously forgiven. And nothing moves us anymore. You see, the reason God puts those kind in his bloodline, when God became a man, no deity was subtracted. He was 100% God put in by his spirit. 100% physical man body, 100% human body containing 100% God. I want to say it again.

48 When God became a man, no deity was subtracted, but humanity was added. He added in a prostitute. He added in someone who came from incense. He added in all this stuff, the adultery of Bathsheba to make the physical body of Christ, which was to be he who knew no sin became sin, but all of his bloodline, it was full of sin. Yet he was all of God and he was the ancient of days. His body was brand new when he was born in Bethlehem, but inside of his spirit was the ancient of days, the one who said, let there be, and creation came.

36 God let those four women be there to teach us nothing is beyond redemption. Those kind can get in the bloodline. And if they could be a part of his genealogy and his literal family, there is nothing your family is going through. There is no addiction. It's just a comma. It's not your whole life. That addiction is a comma. That shame is a comma. That condemnation is a comma. And he wants to put, but I forgive your sins and iniquities and remember them no more, period. Hallelujah. Somebody praise the Lord. Shout, I'm saved. I said, shout, I'm saved. I'm saved by the name of Jesus. I'm saved by the word of God. I'm saved by the blood of Jesus. I'm saved. I'm saved. I'm saved. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, when's the last time you let it melt your heart? Hallelujah. I'm saved.

39 TF 10, he said, the depth of sin does not exceed the height of his redemption. Glory. You can get in the bloodline. You can get beyond the merciful comma that God put in there and that little thing in your life. He can say, I remember it no more. You don't have to go around wondering if you're on a banana peel about to slip into hell. the devil's got his frying pan saying, come on, I'm going to burn you up as soon as, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm saved by the blood of the lamb. This is not greasy grace. It is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Here's a comma. And I want you to find yours because I guarantee you it's in here. 1 Corinthians chapter 6 Paul made a list and he said do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God be not deceived neither fornicators everybody's quiet neither idolaters nor adulterers comma nor the effeminate comma nor the abusers of themselves with mankind comma nor thieves comma nor covetous comma Your comma's in there, drunkenness.

09 They won't get into the kingdom of God. Nor ravelers, partiers, nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you, here comes some more commas, but you are washed. You are sanctified. You are justified by the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. You better shout over that. Somebody in the balcony better get out of that cushion seat and get up on your feet and throw up your hands and say, I'm redeemed. I'm redeemed. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. God, forgive us for being so hard-hearted. Mount our hearts again with worship and praise and appreciation and gratitude for all Jesus has done.

08 Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I want to show you something. Titus chapter 2, verses 11 and 12. Now, just keep that up for a minute. But I want to preach and tell you, you know, the Calvinists, the ultra extreme Calvinists say, once you're saved, you're always saved. And they literally say that nothing can do. There's nothing that you can do about it. That you can never be lost. But let's make sure you really get saved. because here's what the grace of God does when it comes into a person's life. For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men and is teaching grace. You don't have real grace if you don't have teaching grace. Grace is not something you do.

02 You walk down an aisle and say, I accept Jesus as my Savior, praise the Lord. I've got my fire insurance and now I'm going right back to my sin. The grace of God that brings salvation teaches us that we are to deny ungodliness and worldly lust that we should live soberly, righteously, godly in this present world. So if you say you've been saved by grace and you don't have teaching grace that is messing with you all the time, when you try to do the ungodly, when you try to do the worldly lust, when you try to do the drunkenness and the riotous living and the ungodliness, and your conscience is never messed up and you don't feel God teaching. No, no, no.

54 You stop that. You stop that. Repent, repent, repent, repent. If you don't have that kind of conscience, you don't have real grace. Real grace comes, true grace comes with true teaching. And the Holy Spirit, whom the Lord loveth, he whippeth. Jamie Buckingham said, whom the Lord loveth, he beateth the hell out of. You can't get by with nothing. Hallelujah. You can't get by with nothing. Even if you try to do something, you're going to get caught sooner or later because God said my grace is teaching you to live holy and to deny worldly lust and to live soberly and godly in this present life. And if you're not doing that and you don't feel the weight of that, you are not saved. True conversion. When Paul encountered Jesus, that wicked, wicked man named Saul of Tarsus, when he encountered Jesus, the first thing he asked when he saw, he said, who are you?

56 He said, I am Jesus whom you persecuted. And then he said, what do you want me to do? salvation is not coming down and getting saved it's asking what do you want me to do teach me how to love teach me how to live holy teach me how to be sanctified cleansed washed honest open forgiving loving

26 Now, Pastor Soon is a Presbyterian, and he's used to that kind of silence, but I'm not used to that kind of silence. Turn to somebody and say, do you have a real grace? If you do, it's teaching you. Can't talk to people like that. Can't say that. Stop that. What do you mean? You cussing, cussing, cussing. The Holy Spirit, just stop it. Oh, you like the first part of this sermon a whole lot better than you do the left.

10 Watch this. Achan made sacred things common. And Rahab made common things sacred. And God chose Rahab. here's what Achan did. The Bible said when he stole those things from the city of Jericho, that it was revealed.

39 And not only was he stoned to death, but they took his children and his wife and they stoned them to death and burned their bodies. I want you to understand that the choices you make he thought of himself first and he did not think of his children and his family but watch Rahab Rahab thought of her family first because when she heard what was coming she said I want to make a deal with you men I'll hide you up in my roof under the the flack, the stalks that I have, they had these like branch, like palm tree branches that they could hide them under, flank I think it's called, or something like that, but they would hide them. And she said, I'll hide you, but I want my family to be saved.

38 She had no idea that not only would her family be saved and that the prostitution was just a comma in what he would do because he was about to remember her sins no more and put that whole family in the bloodline of Jesus Christ. I want to close with this, but in John 10, 10, Jesus said, I came to give you life, comma, and give it to you more abundantly. the Old Testament ends with one word in Malachi 4 and 6, curse. I'll turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, the heart of the children to the fathers. And if that doesn't happen, I'll smite the earth with a curse.

33 The Old Testament ends with the word curse. but the new testament ends in the book of revelation with one word grace the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. When he's summoning it all up, John is.

00 And he's saying, there was a curse and it's bad. Jericho was cursed, but there was grace where there was a bloodline flying over a house. of a harlot. Achan knew better.

27 This is what happens when people lose the sacredness and it becomes common. You know to do better, but you don't do better. But Rahab didn't know to do better, but she started doing better. I just want that freshness to come back. I just want us all to get saved all over again. I'm tired of rededicating, rededicating. At some point, we need to fall in love with Jesus. He needs to melt our heart again. I want him to melt the heart of this church again till we sow like Rahab or cry it out for others more than we do ourselves. And I'm simply preaching to you today that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses. The grace of God comes and it begins to teach you to turn away from the world.

32 for the world and the lust thereof fadeth away but he that doeth the will of God shall abide forever and ever and ever and what would happen if at all of our campuses and people all over the nation and the world that are seeing this and you right here would just say, God, on this Sunday morning, melt my heart again. I don't want, I don't want sacred things to become common.

13 I used to really, really worship you, but it's become common. I used to, see, all these things are cycles you go through spiritually. It's, you have to, you have to, like that butterfly, you have to break out of that cocoon again and again and again. Because time has a way of dulling you spiritually to where the sacred becomes common. Nothing moves you anymore. Nothing melts you anymore.

43 But I want the spirit. God said, man looks on the outward. Boy, old Achan looks like he's holy. But God saw a woman. and they said, this cord is coming until Jesus came to my house. And I'm going to tie it and fly it out the window over my bloodline. and my family will never be the same, and I'll praise him throughout eternity. One day I'm gonna go up, and I love the fact that in Matthew, that little part was dropped, Rahab. It just says Rahab. Hallelujah. Did you just get that? I mean, I don't know what your comma was, but it's gone. Once you get in the bloodline, it's gone. What a miracle.

38 The old things pass away and God says, listen, this is for somebody. I will remember it no more. If God has forgotten it, shouldn't you? If God has moved on, shouldn't you? If God could get over those four women and put them in his own bloodline, don't you think he could still use you? Stand to your feet all over the room. Every head bowed. No one moving, please.

10 Very sacred and steel. You know what I feel like giving an altar call for? melted hearts that the sacred would not be common in my family, in my life. We're around church all the time. We eat, breathe, drink, church, church, ministry, ministry, 24 hours a day, every day.

47 But I don't ever want the sacred to become common. I don't ever want the fact that God uses somebody like me to get up here and preach. I have no right to be here. I have no reason to be your pastor. I mean it. I mean it. It's just he puts those kind in his bloodline. And he says, I can use you. give me all that you have and I can use you. And that's all that I did. That's all I try to keep doing. And sometimes I get in those cycles where the sacred becomes common and I have to pray and fast and get in God's presence and the common becomes sacred again.

42 Anybody wanna, anybody wanna get in his presence this morning? Anybody want God to melt your heart for the lost, for a dying world? People are going to hell. It's really real. Hell is really real. If we believe that, it ought to melt our hearts for the lost. The persecuted Christians, it ought to melt our heart. To see that these forces are even invading our nation and our world. world it should let us know we're certainly in the end times we need a melted heart not a hard heart because I don't have third-hand stories I've experienced personally the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ pastor soon said that when he was in the prison two feet by two feet that's probably about the size of this grill almost. Two feet by two feet. Five months.

47 he said I had, was it 12 visions? They took the book from me. I wanted the book. But the name of his book is 12 Voices and 13 Visions. While he was in that hole for five months, God gave a Presbyterian pastor. he heard his voice 12 he said he told us in the 9 o'clock service he whispered it in my ear 12 times messages and 13 visions hallelujah raise your hands all over this room and say Lord melt my heart again God I don't want the sacred to become common in my family I don't want what is sacred to become common in this church.

50 Would you revive us again? Would you stir us again? Would you melt our cold calloused hearts? Would you move us again into your presence beyond the veil? For we need thee. We need thee. I need thee. Oh, I need thee. I want to be ready. when you come again.

15 I really want to say thank you for joining us this week. If you haven't already, make sure you click on the subscription button and leave us a review. It helps this podcast reach even more people.
