1:10 Listen, but tonight, like, it's going to be a powerful conversation. We have a vision here of representing God to the lost and found for transformation in Christ. and a part of the way that we do that, a part of the way that we represent is to show God differently. And so we're gonna be sharing transparently. We're gonna be very hot, humble, open, and transparent, one of our culture codes. And we're gonna dig in because this message was powerful. I wanna encourage you, share this with some people. It's a way that you get to represent, a way that you get to be a vision carrier is being able to share God differently. So share this with somebody around you. If you got a chance to listen to the message yesterday or earlier this week, then you already know it's about to be like, mm-mm, Campbell's good, okay? If you agree with me, drop some emojis in the chat if it literally just blew your mind. Well, I don't wanna keep talking. I wanna go ahead and let our team up here introduce themselves.

2:04 And we've got a really good question that we're gonna dig into. And so the first question that we're gonna answer, TC Nation, you can join us as we introduce ourselves, is if you could go back in time and make little changes to your childhood, What is one thing that you would master over the years so you would be an expert at it today? That's such a good question. That's a meaty one. So I'm going to go ahead and start over here at the end. We've got a really special guest over here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, guys, I'm Pastor Brenda Todd. And if I could go back in time, if I can go back in time. Come on. Okay. Song club. Yes. If I could go back in time, I would deal with technology a whole lot more than I did. Because then I would be up on everything that's happening with social media and everything. And I would be an expert by now.

2:57 I want to see Pastor Brenda do a TikTok. We have to. Oh, really? Yes. All right. I'm going to make sure Grayson gets on that one. Oh, yeah. Okay, let's do that. Hey, guys. My name is Natalie. something that I wish I would have done at a young age is learn how to make beats so like produce which I don't know how young I could have done that maybe like 12 13 seven yes I've seen little kids like yes okay hey seven-year-old Nat if you're watching this somehow make beats but yeah I that's something I wish I could do produce like Pastor Mike like that would be my my destiny okay well i am julia and um man i would uh be a writer i would want to master being a writer and so i mean i rap and i've done that but like to write books and different things like now i got to do a little more work for it but uh i would master being a writer you know because then there's residual income i think that comes anyway yeah that's real uh my name is will and man, I thought long, every question that gets asked, I lose sleep at night just trying to think, like okay, and yeah, but to me, you know, I wanted something that would like benefit me, make me a millionaire, but all I could think about is I wanna be able to beatbox.

4:16 So if I could go back to Young Will, I would've put you in some beatbox courses, and then we could've beatboxed, and then me and Nat, we could've collabed, you know, you could've produced, I could've beatboxed. We could've done something, but you know, That would have been the dream. Beatbox. I like it. I like it. Hi, guys. My name is Demario. And if I could go back and master anything, it would actually be animation and drawing. Like, I started off kind of drawing, and I was pretty good at it. But when I got to the ninth grade, it was like, you're not going to make no money with this. And so I stopped. But honestly, I wish that I would have continued because there's so many applications between architecture, graphic design, and all these good things. So I wish I would have mastered animation. But anyway, guys, hey, guys, we had week 11 of our FU series this weekend. Come on, faith unlocked. Actually, crazy faith unlocked, and it was incredible. Pastor Michael, I mean, he walked through that thing and preached it so good.

5:12 And one of the things that he talked about, really, was the role that faith plays in our journey. We talk about Forgiveness University and all of that stuff. And so he talked about three things that it takes faith to do. The first one is that it takes faith to forgive. You know, I like how he said that it takes one level of faith to release someone of their debt. And that's one level. But then the next thing he said is that it takes faith to give. Not only do you release somebody else, but now you say, I actually want to be a blessing to someone. And so even talking about what we did this weekend and crazy faith offering and what we're still doing, it takes faith to say, hey, I've received something, something has happened in me, and now I want to be a conduit to bless somebody else. And then the third thing he said is that it takes faith to live. Second Corinthians 5, 7 says that we walk by faith. And so I love how he just, oh, he did such a good job talking about how the faith steps that we take, they're steps. You know, that faith is not just a moment that it's like, oh, I did this and that's the last time I'll do it.

6:12 It's like, no, no, no. I was one step on our journey and our walk of faith. And so such powerful nuggets of what it takes faith to do. And then Pastor Mike did an amazing job just walking through the story of Abraham, who is what the Bible calls the father of faith. And, man, what I love about Abraham is that, you know, he embodies progression, not perfection. Because, you know, Abraham had some lies in him. I mean, he slept with the wrong woman. He had some issues. But honestly, it was his commitment to continually just stay committed to God and to do what God said. that basically crowned him as the father of our faith. And so, you know, when you think about that, like God doesn't judge us by our worst day. You know, like if he would have did that, then Abraham definitely would not have been the father of faith. Like he was judged by his continual commitment to keep hearing God, even when he made mistakes, even when he didn't do it perfect.

7:06 And it's the same way with us. And so one of the things that we know is that like our faith is unlocked when we do certain things. And Pastor Michael listed about eight or ten. We're not going to be able to go over all of those tonight, But we are going to go over some key ones. And so in this first clip, Pastor Mike talks about how crazy faith is unlocked in action. So let's check this out. Crazy faith is unlocked in action.

7:34 His next step was not a figuring out step. It was a verb. It was an action. Faith is a verb. don't tell me you have faith and you're sitting still My Bible tells me faith without works, action, movement is what? Dead. And what I'm telling you right now is many of us try to figure out how to make it happen when God's never requiring that of your faith. He's asking you to do something in faith that it will happen. Come on, man. So faith without action is dead. But here's the thing, like for a lot of us, we don't even know like what action we're supposed to be taking. So right now we're just going to talk around that question.

8:28 And TC Nation, we want you to talk around this question too. What do you do when you don't know what step to take out in faith? And so, Will, why don't you go ahead and start us off with that. Yeah, when I was thinking about this, the first thing that came to my mind was, long story short, I'm from Denver, Colorado. Moved out here, what, two? Wow, two years ago. and it's just been such a faith journey because I remember talking to Kaylee, my wife, and we literally just got married and I felt like God was like, hey, get ready, I'm about to do something. And I didn't know what that was. She didn't know what it was. And we were like, all right, like what do we need to do, God? And we had so many, there was so many cool opportunities. I had, there was a couple of job offers in Denver and then there was an opportunity out in Utah and then I had applied for the internship here at Transformation Church. Shout out the internship. It's amazing. You know, a little plug. But man, and I just, we did not know what to do.

9:24 There was like, God, we want to be in your plan. And so we literally, the one thing that I felt like we were supposed to do is just get in his presence. So I'll always, this is probably one of my favorite memories in my marriage is Kaylee and I, we didn't know what to do. So we literally threw on worship music. I think we had it on for a good two hours. I was kind of walking around the house. She was in a room and we just blasted it. Probably disturbed the neighbors. I'm not sure, you know, but we were just going in and just totally like I'm praying, she's praying. And I wrote something on a piece of paper. She wrote something on a piece of paper. And we swapped papers. And there's a part of me that's like, all right, I hope these match up because I don't know. And I wrote Tulsa and she wrote Tulsa. And it was just it was so cool that God like unified us in the spirit. And so I think that the encouragement is if you don't know what to do, because that's the reality. We want to be in God's plan and his purpose.

10:21 But sometimes you literally just got to get in his presence and put on worship music. You don't even need music. You can just be still and let him speak. I promise you, he wants to do that. And that was just seen in my life. And now we're here. Now we're in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Let's go. You know, sometimes, you know, something that makes it difficult is when you got a bunch of good options in front of you. Absolutely. You know, it's not like you got a good one and you got a bunch of bad ones. So it's clear that it's the one. Like you said, you had a lot of good opportunities, the one in Utah, the one in Texas, and to be able to really sit before God and to hear like, okay, so which one is the right one? That's so good. I would say for myself, honestly, I do two things when I don't know what step to take. The first thing I do is ask myself, did I do the last thing that God told me to do? You know, I've had a lot of times in my life where I'm kind of faced with the decision, And I'm like, okay, so is that it or is that it? And God will remind me like, hey, I told you to do something a year ago.

11:16 I told you to do something four months ago, and you haven't completed it yet. When you complete that, then the next step will become a lot clearer. I remember when I was in college, I had basically finished school. I had walked, and I had to do one more summer class. And I was kind of like, eh. And I was doing it. I had the whole summer to get it done. And, you know, I was like kind of procrastinating or whatever. But then I started asking God, Lord, you know, when are you going to open the door for a job situation to pop up? And I kept asking, kept asking, and wasn't getting anything. And then I kind of got still and said, remember, I told you that when you finish your paper and your project to basically finish your degree, then I'll open the door up for the next thing. And family, literally, literally, I remember the day that I was in my office and I was typing up my paper and I finished it, took it upstairs and handed it to my professor. By the time I came back down, I had an instant message from my friend that said, hey, I'm transitioning to a new role. I'm recommending you for my role.

12:15 And so the job came just like that as soon as I completed the last thing that God told me to do. So, yeah. No, that's amazing. The thing that was popping in my head when you were saying that was I can't remember. It was either Pastor Charles or Pastor Mike did a message a while back when David, you know, when he slays Goliath, then he, you know, Goliath falls down. he's dead and then he gets to cut off his head a little gruesome but he takes the sword and i remember the message it was like if david you know he like leveled up he got his new weapon out of the deal but he had to take on what was in front of him first before otherwise if he would have just walked up to goliath and tried to grab the sword out of his hand it might not have gone as good but as you were saying that i just yeah i think like there's somebody you got to deal with what's in front of you what god has asked you to do and not ignore it because you're not going to get around it. So that was good. You know, I love how Pastor Mike talked about faith without works is dead. Obviously that's Bible, right? And he's talking about that this is a faith walk and there are steps. And I think about me and my own journey, like there was a season where I didn't know if it was faith, you know? And so sometimes you got to trust the try, you know? And so I remember there was a time we were in Chicago. We're in Chicago. Now I like the city of Chicago. It's real nice, but it's also very scary okay like i'm from north carolina we don't have like this big downtown area in the place where i'm from and so we're going to chicago trying to figure out where to park and i remember before that trip i had been praying and asking god like god show me show me how you speak to me like how do i know it's you that's talking you know i'm asking all those crazy things like months before and stuff well we get to chicago i'm looking like okay where do you park where I'm calling the people, the number on Adele.

13:58 And, you know, none of them really want to tell you. They're just like, read it. And I was like, well, I can read, but that's why I'm calling you because they don't understand it. But okay, so I'm looking and then we found a spot, you know, so we parked, we go to a restaurant and that restaurant was too long of a wait. So Demario's trying to have conversation with me and I have like this unease, like I'm barely engaging in any conversation. Then we go to another restaurant and I'm sitting there and he's talking to me and I have this open vision at the time where I'm seeing our car towed like and so I'm not able to engage with him I'm just like okay I'm ready to go you know like that's where I was at and so anyway we we go back to where the car was parked like we're walking back over to this area and the car is not there and I literally like somebody stole the car you know and I know in my heart that it that nobody stole it so I called the police I'm like, Hey, so I parked my car. It looks like somebody stole it. And they're like, no, it's at the impound. And I remember in that moment, we went into the tow place and I was so, I was like, I was mourning because it's like, God, I missed you. I missed the warning signs. And the thing is, I believe that God, like he honors the heart position, right. To say like that, I wanted to follow you now. Don't get me wrong. Those consequences. Cause I had to pay for the, I had to pay for it, but it was also a learning lesson for me to see one of the, one of the ways that God would speak to me. And so I want to encourage you, like sometimes you're learning based on the relationship that you have with God. It's just like me learning my friends. If I'm trying to learn that I'm asking questions, but there's some times where I'm going to get it wrong, but she's going to give me grace to get it wrong. And I believe that God does that with us.

15:42 We're taking a step in faith. Like, we don't know. We 51% sure. But we're going to trust the try, and we're going to do it. And so I want to encourage you, TC Nation. God has said and spoken something to you. But what the enemy does is he tries to taunt you and convince you that God didn't say it. Trust the try. Make sure that your heart is right. If God said it and you're like, well, I feel like he's saying it. I think he's saying it. Trust the try.

16:08 My turn? You know, Tommy and I were in between owning homes. In other words, we had owned a home after 19 years. We moved out of that home, was in one for three years. But on that second year, I was like, okay, I'm not ready to sign another lease. But it wasn't the timing yet. And so I was building my faith and everything for it. and we had gone, we was at the end of the third year, which was just September, it was the end of the third year, and they was presenting the lease for the fourth year. And I'm telling you, something rose from my toes. I'm telling you, and I said, we will not sign another lease. Anybody that knows me, everything is 1,000%. Not 100, but 1,000.

17:04 And so Tommy said, what are we going to do? I said, we're going to call the realtor. That was the step. Come on. Lord, have mercy. This was a time to say this is it. I will not do it. And there are some of you, God, you know that it's time for there to be a shift. It's a time for you to own instead of rent. Come on now. And so with that, you have to do the first things first. Call the realtor and had our faith up, looked at our scores. Come on here. It was a step of faith. But do you know from the first day that I said, I'm done, 45 days later, we're on two and a half acres with a 4,000 square foot house. Don't play.

17:57 Come on. Come on. we took the step y'all listen that come on listen for for some of y'all that right there just gassed your faith all the way up and here's the thing i believe that the word of god talks about that we overcome by the word of our testimony right and so there there's something crazy that happens when we share our testimony and we take those faith steps when it sparks into somebody else the community the different people that were around faith i love what pastor mike said in these steps But faith makes preparation for what God wants to do. And you prepared and made space. And so many times the enemy wants to convince us that you're comfortable where you're at and nothing else can happen. Because like what you said, it's like there was a violence that happened. There was like, no, we're not going to do that. This is it. And God was like, I was waiting for that.

18:49 I was waiting for that. And here he goes. And he was waiting for me. You saying that really touched me because that's what God waits for. There are so many things that God has for his children that we are allowing to just bypass us. But when you say it is time, when you know it in your knower, because I had been building my faith in God and I had a knowing in my knower, no more. And I'm saying to somebody even tonight, take the step of faith. And when you do, you will see it's right there waiting for you. Come on. Well, we're just, we're just, we're just warming up. This, this, this next clip, I think this next clip is, is important for us to kind of dig in a little bit more because Pastor Mike talked about that faith is unlocked despite doubt. And so let's check out this next clip.

19:48 Crazy faith is unlocked. Watch this. Despite doubt. You can have doubt and crazy faith. I love it. Abram was doubting God. But still gets called the father of faith. And the church all the time tries to make you feel like if you have any doubt. He literally went to Thomas and told him, I know you doubt. Here, touch it. Let me show you. It's me. God, watch this. This is going to help some people. God is not intimidated by your questions. That is good. And he later goes on to say people are. God is not intimidated by your questions, but people are. And what's funny about that is that oftentimes we let people dictate to us that we can't ask God questions.

20:51 TC Nation, I'm going to stop. So TC Nation and to our communicators, we just want to dig in practically to this. Like, what do you practically do to believe what God has said when doubt keeps hitting you? That is such a good question. I, the, my favorite thing about the dig is that we, we talk about things that are practical. We're not just, our goal up here isn't just to talk about ourselves or just talk about, you know, brag about the things that God's doing in our lives, but it's really to help you guys like really break down. Like, how do I live out a Christian life? How do I live out a faith walk? And so for me, something that's really helped me in the last year, honestly, is writing things down. Like it sounds so easy, but it's so practical when you, when you feel like God's telling you something, even if it feels crazy, write it down. You don't have to post it on social media. If you want to, if that's a faith step for you, like do it, but you don't, it could just be for you in your journal, date it, put a time on there. And there's too many times I can't, I can't even list the amount of things that when I go back in my notes on my phone or I go back in my journal, when I start to doubt God and I see the things it's like, nope, I wrote that down at 8 49 PM on December 7th. Like I know, okay, that was God. That wasn't me. And I'm just going to keep believing for that. And it's like a, it's a reference point for you to be able to look back and check back on the things that are still there. I too easily, I don't know if it's because I'm scatterbrained. I don't know what it is, but I'll just like forget the things that God told me.

22:19 Like, and so having it written down is just a very practical thing to do. I love that. Like you said, writing it down is definitely the beginning of that faith journey. One of the things that I do when I'm dealing with doubt, God has said something to me and I'm dealing with doubt is I ask more questions. Usually for me, doubt comes in because, you know, he said something and things are not lining up. And what I found is that a lot of times, like God will say one thing and then I'll fill in the blank on the rest. You know, he might say something like, hey, I'm going to bless you with the house. And then I'll say, oh, yeah, in a year. And it'll be paid for in two years. And I start to fill in the blanks. And so he didn't say that. Right. He didn't say that. He said, I'll do this. And so I found that a lot of times, like, when I'm doubting, it's because I filled in the blanks. And now, you see what I'm saying?

23:11 Like, I'm doubting because it's not happening the way that I thought it would happen. And I have to go back and say, okay, God, what did you actually say? And then go back to that and say, okay, well, that's all that I'm going to say. I'm going to believe that. And if it takes 10 years, if it takes 20 years, I'm going to stand on what you said and not try to fill in the blanks. And now, if he gives me more after I ask him questions, then I take that. And so anyway, asking more questions, though, is part of what helps me to combat that doubt when it comes. Man, that's beautiful. I was just going to say, I feel like with that, that's where community is really important. Because obviously, like, your walk with Christ is so direct. So you can talk to God immediately and all that. But community, like, if I told you to Mari, like, hey, right now, like, I know God's telling me this. If I come to you in a month and I'm like, God told me this. Oh, and this. You'd be like, no. Remember when we talked a month ago? Like, that didn't happen. Like, that's where accountability is so important in relationship.

24:05 Like, you just, like, don't be afraid to tell people. Because, and if you're afraid, maybe it's because you know that maybe you're going to make up stuff later. Pastor Brenda, you were telling us a little bit about what you do when you're in a struggle or maybe even just have a little bit of doubt that comes up. Can you share with us a bit? You know what? I go back to my faith builders and some of my faith builders are, are whether it's videos that I have seen or certain messages or actually going back to what God has given me as a clue that this really is me going back to that same house. Y'all see, this just happened. I can't help but talk about what is fresh. and I remember you know we had to do the first thing find out about your scores didn't know that past Tommy had been working on things thank God for a good man hallelujah of 41 years and he had been working on it and everything and so our score was up in the sevens and all of that and I was like oh baby thank God Jesus but then when we actually went to the banker they said what is your score and we was like she doesn't have any credit you know because we made you know it was on his or whatever he said give me your social and listen y'all my score one of them was 803 and one of them but this what yes sir the the the the clincher that I went back to was seven, seven, seven.

25:49 Woo! Come on. Seven has always been my number. Wow. Now, I'm not gambling, but I'm telling you that's been my number, which says to me, complete, complete. Complete. Yes. That's so good. It is so complete. Come on. And any time, y'all, during the journey of those 30 to 40 days before we got the house, God would say, what did I say? Complete? Complete? It's already completed. So I had to go back to the clues, the 777. That brought me such peace. What is it that brings you peace when the doubt is there? Come on now. What is it along the journey that God has said that brings you peace? 777 was the thing that brought me to peace. That's so good.

26:40 And just to practically say that, like the number seven in the Bible, it stands for completion. And so that's what you were saying. And so it was God knew what he needed to get to you as a reminder because I love how detailed God is. Like he's so specific. Like for Will, it may be something different. For me, it's something different. But God, he honors that. Well, guys, we took a moment and we said we needed to catch Pastor Mike after this message. So we got him mid-thought, and he's going to answer an additional question for us. So let's check out this next clip. Anytime, but especially when people are going to make a step of faith, I just be up, like, warring in the spirit. I just be praying and just, like, trying to make sure that people make it past that step. I see what it does for people when they, like, it unlocks it when they step over that threshold. And so I'm just, I'm faithful.

27:35 I'm expecting that many people made decisions to transform today. So on that note, Pastor Mike, that's so good. And the message you preached today, my mind is still being blown. All glory to God. However, how do we stay focused on the future when our present does not look at all like what God had told us? You rehearse the promise. Like, it's very simple. You ever heard a song that got stuck in your head? And I have kids, so I know a lot of Jojo Siwa. I know a lot of, I mean, there's so many songs that I never chose to listen to, but because of the repetitive nature of them, then they become a part of what I sing. When you rehearse the word of God over and over, the promises he gave you that Transformation Church would be the Spirit Bank Event Center, that you would be able to write the book, that God would just rehearse the promise, write it, put it up, say it to people, declare it. As you do that, it becomes a part of what just is you.

28:31 And it may not look like it, but it's only crazy until it happens. And now the things that I've rehearsed are real life. Yeah. And that's what God wants. So he gets the glory from your life. So rehearse it. That is so good. Rehearsal starts now. Y'all better get to rehearsal. Let's go. Come on. Come on. Kirk, I love you, man. Rehearse it. Go to rehearsal right now. Well, one of the things that I love how Pastor Mike just shared that, like rehearsing the promise, like talking to people, all of that. One of the things that I think is really important is that we stop contradicting what God has said. Like so many times we talk like we're talking to God and trying to talk him out of what we what we don't deserve and why it shouldn't be me. And it's like, God, but if he said, if he said, all you have is all you need and you have me, then why not go? Because he's already shown you why not go.

29:27 And so for me, it's making sure that I don't contradict the things that God has said. And then I got to equip the community that's around me. Like some of those deep things that God has spoken, I'm telling people. Like obviously my husband finds out about it. But even before I was married, I'm telling my friends about it, some of my best friends. and this is why it's important who your friends are like I don't need people in my circle or whatnot who are going to be faith killers I need people that are going to feed my faith not kill my faith you know and so I think that that's just an important thing to know like hey why are these people around me and so close to me can I really share this thing that God has given me and as we've said before if I tell them that when I come to them and it's and it's not what I previously said are they going to hold me accountable? I thought about this when you said that, thought about pastor Mike. So I think it was in 2018, 2017, um, where he thought about preaching one of the messages where God had told him, do not preach on finances for three years.

30:29 Let Robert Morris preach on that. And so there was, I think it was in that third year he was wrestling. He was, he was trying to just like, guys, I think I'm a, I think I'm a preach, right? I think I'm going to do it. And, and I, I, I know he warred with it. I'm pretty sure some of the accountability talked with him like, Hey, but you said three years ago that God said this. Right. And I remember shortly after that, Pastor Brenda, you spoke a word and talked about what God was going to do with this ministry and unlock something. And so I just want to encourage you like there, yeah, there are moments when we have doubt like that, that's, that's just a part of, that's a part of it, but we have to feed our faith and starve doubt and have people around us that will help feed the faith. Yeah, that is good. You know, I'm just thinking about this whole thought of rehearsing and the way that you guys have said it, community, Pastor Brenda, the 777, in the face of doubt, we have to have something to say because doubt is speaking.

31:21 Doubt is saying, you're not going to get it. You're not going to blah, blah, blah. You know, and so literally we have to have a response and that's why it's so important to write stuff down. That's why it's so important to get to that place of prayer. even prophetic words and different things like that and all that just so you know prophetic words these are times where people are inspired by God to speak something directly into your life and it's a rhema it's kind of a right now thing that really is pertinent to you and so we've got to keep those things in our mind we've got to keep those things in our journal because we have to have a response when doubt starts to speak state it even when you don't feel it watch it put it on your mirror wherever and here's the thing i wanted to say this rehearse is rehear rehear what's already been said so we're rehearsing we're doing it over we're rehearing what's already been said we're re-seeing what's already been stayed like we've got that's the way we get to stand on god's word like it's it's the way that we're able to be more planted in god's word because the world everything's going to be thrown at us but god's word is the thing that causes us to be able to stand when the storm gets thrown at us. That's so good. I literally, I have found myself in the past, like legitimately staring at myself in the mirror and like rehearsing. I swear God said this, God said this. And I just like to the point where I just, I believe it, even though it doesn't look like it. Cause when I think about like doubt and for me, um, the biggest factor is I, I heard God, I know it was from him. It just doesn't look anything like what he said. And even just something I I've been walking in 2020, listen, shout out 2020, uh, is, you know, but it's, I'm, I'm excited though, that this is the year that we've gotten stronger.

33:01 We're going to finish strong. But God has just been even personally been working in my life. And it's just so cool that God's just, he's always working. You know, I thought like when God restored me from, from drugs and alcohol and all that, I thought that was kind of it. But I felt like God is just like, you're, you're silly. Like I'm not, I'm not even close to being done with what I have for you. And just point is in 2020, recently, like within the last few months, I felt like God told me internally, like a position at TC came available. And I was like, God was like, hey, that's I want you to apply for that. And I was like, OK, God, like, are you sure? You know, and I prayed about it and and it was like, all right, this is it. And I think I filled in the blanks like you were talking about. And listen, the problem with filling in the blanks on like what God says, it creates so much frustration. like because you're like and you blame him oh 100 you blame him when it doesn't oh yeah he's like no that wasn't me that was you it's true it's true and so i yeah it was one of those things where um doubt did kind of creep in a little bit and i was like god i thought i heard you know you right because it just it didn't end up the way i thought it was and then little did i know you know god was having conversation there was conversations being had behind in rooms that i was never in and there was just like god was just moving in behind the scenes and um and now like i'm i'm exactly where like god did gave the word it just the journey didn't look a little bit different but now i get to be where i like i knew god said it but i allowed because i was filling in the blanks i love that you said that that was so good like that was so so i filled in a lot of breaks um but man now i get to sit in his promise and that was just because you got to keep rehearsing it you got to hold on to it and i just words matter so much. Words speak life and death over people, but over yourself. And that was one thing.

34:51 My wife, Kaylee, she's my safe place. So there was times where I would go home. And I think you do have to have that. You have to have that way where you can just kind of be real and transparent. But man, I did. I stood in the mirror. I talked to even just friends. I got friends that were around me that were just encouraging me, pouring into me. But man, if you start saying, oh, that's not going to happen. That's not going to happen. You start talking negative to people. You hang out with people that are like, yeah, you're right. That's not going to happen. You know, God would have already done it by now. It matters who you surround yourself with and what you speak over yourself. It just does. Come on. It's getting saucy. I love it. I love it. Well, guys, hey, in this next clip, Pastor Mike gives us another key to unlocking our faith. Let's check this out. Crazy faith is unlocked when the vision is bigger than you. he literally could have said Abram look over at the table count them cups that's how many that's how many people I'm gonna bless you with that would have been fathomable to him one two three four five six and God says you don't need crazy faith for something you can make happen So Abram only gets unlocked in faith when the vision is much bigger than himself.

36:10 What are you trying to say to me? Think bigger. In large territory. The vision always has to be bigger. Y'all, I would have been okay if Transformation Church was a 2,000 member church who had Tulsa on lock that was able to put out some music CDs. I would have y'all and God said come here boy look at this map write down transformation nation you meant transformation county transformation township you know what I'm saying that's where our faith is he said no call them transformation nation cause there'll be people worshiping in England and South Africa there'll be people in New Zealand in Japan there'll be people in Taiwan And he made the vision bigger so that I would have to believe beyond. If it doesn't scare you, you don't need faith.

37:12 Come on. Crazy faith is unlocked when the vision is bigger than you. He dropped so many gems in that little clip. My God today. But, you know, I started thinking about something. I remember when I was in corporate America, and I remember talking to a friend of mine, and they were just saying like, hey, I've been in corporate America for 10 years, and it took me 10 years to get to this level of salary. And I just remember something rose up inside of me. I said, it's not going to take me that long because the vision that I have for the money I make in corporate America is so that I can be a blessing to the kingdom of God. And literally, y'all, it took me five years to get to where that person had gotten in 10 years because the vision that I had for me prospering and me going up in position, it was connected to something that was way bigger than me buying cars and a Tesla. I want a Tesla, but, or a big house or whatever it is. But because it was connected to souls and seeing lives transformed, God said, oh yeah, we're about to fast forward this one.

38:12 So anyway, good stuff. Guys, we want to go around to talk about this question as we're in our season of Crazy Faith. What were you believing in Crazy Faith for last year and how did God provide? And then also, what are you believing for Crazy Faith for this year? So Pastor Brenda, go ahead and kick us off. Okay, so my husband and I, when we planted our crazy faith seed, it was all about our family. And I, like you, Natalie, I do a lot of writing down, you know, for Pastor Tom and I and each of the boys. And there are five. And so God spoke to me and told me to write a manifesto about one of our sons. And then I wrote a manifesto about all of them. For those of you that don't know what a manifesto is, it's you making a declaration, an open confession about what you want to see. And I'm telling you, it was all about our family.

39:08 And so I wrote out the manifestos about our family because we wanted to see God just keep us close together and do some great things. Well, I can actually say this year, two of our sons got married. Glory to God. Three months of each other, they got married. And three of the boys live in the same complex. And that has drawn, y'all don't know as a mother, you know, because the enemy attacks family. And I don't care how saved you are. He loves to attack families. And to see that those boys are in the same complex and God is doing a great thing. We believed God for it. And he did it that crazy faith. That crazy faith time. Well, y'all just heard about my house. Already, I'm believing God for a paid off house.

40:04 Glory to God. Listen, listen, I don't put nothing past God. So that is one of the things. And then, of course, the full, complete, total recovery of my man, Tommy Todd. Glory to God. I can't report that he is doing great, but that is when we put, we wrote things down for us. You know, my oldest son, Gabriel, I'm believing for marriage. Hey, he's a wonderful man. So I'm just saying these are the things that I'm believing. Oh, is Gabriel, you out there somewhere, baby? Where is he? Okay, Gabriel, I'm sorry I busted you. out, bro. I'm believing for marriage, for your baby, for all of that in Jesus' name. That's part of my crazy faith thing. Okay, I'll be quiet, y'all. I keep it out there. I love it. I love it. Man, when I think about, you know, my crazy faith card from last year, one of the things that was on my card was for us to be able to purchase a home this year. The reason that's crazy is because just a few years ago, I had to file bankruptcy, and there's a certain amount of time that you have to wait before you qualify for anybody's loan. And so even this year when we started the process, I was starting the process to say, okay, well, let me talk to someone financial so that we can get our credit repaired so we can do something in 2021. Well, lo and behold, they come back and say, oh, no, no, no, you are approved for a loan this year. And so I was like, okay. And so literally God came through and did the unexpected. I mean, it was crazy just because, like I said, I mean, just financially in that world.

41:39 It was crazy to let it happen. But in that world, like, that just doesn't happen. And so that was one of my things from last year. For this year, one of the things on my crazy faith card is the healing of my little sister, my baby sister. She was diagnosed with a mental illness, like, 20 years ago. And my crazy faith is that she'll be completely healed, be able to live on her own independently, and will fulfill the purpose of God. And so I know it's been 20 years, but hey, Abraham waited for 25 and saw that thing come to pass. And so I'm just believing the same thing for my baby sis. Yeah. That's amazing to Mario. I think something that I wanted to touch on of what Pastor Mike talked about in the clip is believing beyond. Like that phrase just stuck out to me. I think a lot of times it feels safe and it feels comfortable to believe for things that make sense. like to write down on your crazy faith card or to write in your journal, oh, this is very plausible to happen.

42:35 So let me put this out there because then if it happens, like, okay, like that made sense. But that's not faith. Like that's what we're learning in crazy faith and just especially this past Sunday is like you have to believe beyond what you see actually plausible because that beyond is God. It's what you can't do. And so I think for me, like even being raised in church, I think I was skewed on what faith was. I had amazing parents. So it wasn't that they taught me wrong, but I, I thought I just had to have faith enough that like, if God didn't do it, Nat could still make it happen. And that's not faith. That's, that's not trusting God at all. And so last year was honestly the first time I wrote stuff down for my crazy faith offering that I was like, this is crazy. Like, I can't do this. And, and even then, like, I want to speak to some of the stuff on my card. I'm believing for my grandparents who are unsaved to be saved. and they still aren't, but there's things that I think we get so caught up and so stuck on, oh, it didn't happen in 2020. That means it's not meant, but that's what you were talking about, the filling in the gaps. Like God didn't tell me like 2020, they're going to be saved. He just said, start believing. I wasn't believing before. It was dead. It was empty. And so that ignited, like 2020 was an igniting of faith that I had never had before. Faith that was beyond me.

43:53 faith that I for things that I could never do and so that's it's honestly on my card again but something that's really cool where um pastor Mike talked I think it was a couple weeks ago he talked to the staff about your help is in the hint and so basically what he was referencing is a lot of times we get so caught up in we don't know where to turn we don't know where to look we don't know what God has for us but looking at the hints of things that God has laid in front of us and when And so I preached in the seven and seven in, what was that, August? And my grandparents watched. And they do not watch church. They don't know anything about the Bible. And that to me was like, okay, 2020, like that was the hint. Like me being a caveat for my family, being in ministry, preaching on stage, they would have never watched a sermon for, they don't know who Pastor Michael Todd is. If I sent them the sermon, they'd be like, okay.

44:46 But the fact that their granddaughter was on it, they watched it. That was my, the help was in the hand. God, God leading them because of me and because of my faith. So anyways, it's on my card again. So I'm still believing and it's going to happen. Come on. Don't, don't let off. Don't let off of that. You know, here's what I, faith is really a partnership with God. You know, it is really us partnering with God to do what God said he would do. And so for me, last year, there's a couple of things I was believing for. I was believing for my brother's salvation and really believing for his complete healing of his entire body and that there would be no residue. And really just that he would pursue God and find purpose, what God has designed him for, and really give that expression here on earth. And I would like to say that he has been saved.

45:39 He gave his life to the Lord. That was one of the things. anything and what i love about it is he just texts me like i didn't hound my brother and i just continued to pray and i've been praying for years and then um uh anyway just praying for him for years and then the other thing i i was believing god for was a house and obviously we do have a house but as as my husband said like the crazy thing was a bankruptcy but it was also that financially things that changed so much for us that i was like god how the heck is this gonna happen like literally i i mean i literally remember a year ago driving down the street and i've told the story to some friends but i remember driving down the street after having a lexus and i went to go get gas i pumped gas into the car seven dollars and 52 cents that thing stopped and i looked and i said something wrong there's no more gas in the you know right like Ain't no more answer there.

46:35 And then, you know, you get that little text alert that says, there's no more money in your account. You know, but I got so pissed. I got frustrated. I got mad. And I mean, I got mad. And I got back on the road and I said, God, this is not your best. This is not the abundant life. This is not what you promised. Now, you told us to transition, to move from corporate America, from doing all these different things. You told us that. I got $7 and some change of gas in this car until the next time we get paid. And I don't know how long that was going to be. I was like, God, this is not it. This is not it. And so just to see what God has done, like, to be in the house that we're in and to have two kids because they're both in school. And y'all know that costs a whole lot of money. It's more than a mortgage.

47:27 But, I mean, just to see. It really is. But just to see everything that God has done, it's like, wow. And now I'm just believing that, one, that God would pay off all debt, that God has called us to be gifted givers, to be able to underwrite other people's businesses, to be able to pay off other people's debt, to be able to release things that God has placed on our hearts, to help other people move and push forward in the things that God has called them to do, to put people in mountains of influence, to put Christ in the middle of culture. and so I'm super excited to see what God is going to, yeah, I don't like that. I don't like vision at all, but that's a lot of what I believe in God for. I love that, and what I love about you guys' story too is I've seen, you know, even through social media, it's inspired other people, you know, like right after you guys post. It's just cool to see like what people are saying and they're starting to believe stuff. Let me change my crazy faith card.

48:19 You know, it's just really cool to see that. I love this time. Crazy faith, man. I remember last year, for me, it was, I feel like it seemed crazy to me because just my, you know, my background. I got a background before Jesus and all that. And, yeah, I got a couple cases, you know. I just didn't think it was, like, realistic to, like, work at a church, let alone a church like Transformation Church. And so I came and I did the internship. And I remember God was just telling Kaylee and I, like, hey, you're staying. Like, your roots are going down here. There was no job on the table at all. But then the next thing God, I felt like when we were believing, we're like, man, we would love to have a house here. You know, we'd love to stop paying rent and all these things. And we were just like, we were just believing. But it sounded so crazy when we said it. But we wrote it down and we were just believing for it. And it was just really cool to see God open up doors, like not having a job.

49:16 Like I can't make that more. There was no guarantee of a job. There was nothing. But it's a crazy story. It had to have been God. the bank essentially like allowed us to have the loan based off a letter of intent to possibly hire which is crazy I mean I thank you for you know what I mean but it was just so crazy but God opened the door and I just felt like God was asking Kaylee and I to commit to this before clarity before it made sense I went into Christmas break and went home to Denver like okay we just bought a house we got an offer down there's no job and January 1st is coming up I wrote crazy faith, you know, 2020, 2019. And, uh, man, I'll never forget a December 28th. I got a text, um, from pastor Bree and she's like, Hey, check your email. And it was a job offer. And it was just cool. Like God, you know, he made me wait a little bit, uh, but he came through and, and this year, I'm honestly, like, I feel like God was like, when pastor Mike was saying like dream bigger, uh, that was one thing I felt like God for, for Kaylee and I, he was just like, Hey, what you wrote on your 2019 crazy faith card. Like I'm still not done with that yet. And he just wanted us to believe for like he's not done and that was just one thing one thing he was saying to me um just on the even like this drive in this morning was like you haven't experienced the fullness of your redemption yet you haven't experienced the fullness of your promise yet and so i'm just i don't know what it is um you know one of the things i put on my crazy faith card was god knows you know it's just like i'm just i'm not sure but i'm believing for it and yeah i just i'm excited for what God has done.

50:49 And it's just, man, hold on to those promises. Like, God is so faithful. I know, like, it's just, for me, being able to even just sit up here and talking to you guys and just some amazing communicators, amazing people, it doesn't make sense. When you look at, like, I legitimately have a record. That wasn't a joke. I do, but, like, it doesn't make sense to be up here. But I am, because God is faithful. And what he speaks over you might not look the way you think, but just hold on. I don't know who needs to hear that. But God's not done with you. He's not. You haven't experienced the fullness of your redemption yet. And I'm just believing that for you. God is not done with you. So don't stop moving. Don't stop believing. Will, that is such a powerful word, not to stop and not to just settle. Pastor Michael even kind of mentioned that in the sermon. He talked about how a lot of times we get to the promise and we say, okay, I'm done with all that faith stuff.

51:42 No, no, no, no, no. Like God is not done. He still wants to do more. But if we stop and we settle, then that's where we are. So that's such a good word, Will. Listen, really what that reminds me of is compromise. Like the enemy wants us to compromise, which will cause us to forfeit the best that God has for us. You know, and even in that, like, yeah, he wants us to stop short. And here's the thing. The other thing he wants us to do is the enemy wants us to not give God the credit that he's due. So when we talk about faith walks, one of the things I was thinking about as Pastor Mike was sharing this was so many times we give credit to faith and coincidence instead of giving credit to God. Like we can sit there and say like, man, God, or man, this happened, that happened. Man, that was such a coincidence. Right place, right time. Right place, right time. And it's like, no, we're missing the piece. No, that was God.

52:35 That was our good, good father. And the great thing is he's no respecter of person. He's continuously trying to show who he is. But now we can say, okay, man, that just happened. That was God. That's an element to feed our faith, to see that faith that was the size of a mustard seed continue to grow and grow and grow. But listen, this next clip is a game changer. It's a special key to unlocking crazy faith. So let's check this out. Really what I found when I'm unlocking my own crazy faith? It's not about the weight. It's about the weight that produces the weight. Hold on, run that back. It's not about the weight. It's about the weight that produces the weight. Okay, let me. It's not about the weight, how long, the time it takes. It's about the weight, how you wait on God.

53:29 Your heart posture while you're serving. God, at your service, you want me to serve in the children's ministry? You want me to serve on the worship team? You want me to serve administratively? You want me to serve my family? God, I'm at your service. It's not about the time. It's about the heart posture. And the longer you stay in the right waiting heart posture, it produces weight spiritual maturity. And the problem with the body of Christ in many of us is we get so concerned about the wait time that we get disgruntled in the weight heart posture. and we end up having no spiritual weight. And that's why God can't trust us with more because we're concerned about the weight and not the weight. So we ain't got no weight.

54:20 That is a oof. Like, I feel like everybody in the chat just say oof. Like, listen, you can't hear a clip like that and not go to the hot seat. So let's bring the hot seat out. The question is, who's going to be on the hot seat tonight? Okay. So hot is just humble, open, and transparent. Y'all feel it? I feel the heat. I feel it. That is everybody list. So it looks like everybody's going to be answering this question. Shout out to the light guy. It looks like we're all going to be answering this question. And it's simple. When did you allow doubt trials are the way to keep you from taking a step out in faith? that is not a simple question we're about to get real hot real transparent real quick i'm gonna throw it you're gonna start us off well okay okay i i feel man this is this is a this is definitely a weighty question um no pun intended from the you know the weight you know um but it really is uh i feel like the thing that comes to mind um you know because we i would love to sit here and be like man there was never a time i doubted god and i'll just you know but the reality is there was times where I was just like, man, God, is this like, did I miss something?

55:34 Because full transparency, I love that we have the hot culture. I love that we get to be transparent people. And for me, one thing, like when I was coming out here, I'm from Denver, Colorado. I was born and raised. I never thought I'd leave. And when God was starting to really tug on my heart that we were coming out here to Tulsa, listen, I'm going to be real with you. Tulsa, Oklahoma, it wasn't even on my radar when I was talking about places where I could live, I wouldn't live. Tulsa wasn't even like in the mix. And so I just, I felt like, okay, God, if you're calling me to Tulsa, Oklahoma, like you about to do something, you about to pop off with me, you know, and all this stuff. And so I got here, did the internship, was so excited. And I just felt like God kept, hey, get ready, get ready. I'm about to do something. I'm about to do something. And I remember when we were getting ready for version one conference, I was so excited. I was like, man, it was just so amazing. I was ready. And listen, I got a calendar invite. Shout out to calendar invites. I love, I have so, I have so many of those. Um, but I remember, uh, looking at it and it was like calendar invite from Pastor Bree and Pastor Mike was on there. And I was like, oh man, this is it. Will's about to preach a version one conference. Like, I'm ready to go.

56:44 And I walked into that room, like, let's do this. And then I looked up and on the screen, it said like, set up, tear down team Will. And I was like, oh, okay. This is a little bit different of a meeting. And I really did. I walked in there and it was like, and it was explained to me like, hey, Will, you're the guy, like, you're in charge of set up teardown. And I was like, of what? He's like, everything. I was like, okay, everything. And then it said, like, location, whole building. And I was like, okay, okay, Will's in charge. And I was, you know, I walked out of there. I had, I'm just like, super real. I had a, like, 24-hour period where I was like, man, God, like, I did not, I thought, like, this was my chance, my moment. And, but something happened. I did what, you know, I just I didn't know what else to do I knew my heart posture was wrong and I got in the presence of God I threw on worship music and I was like all right God like let me be the best setup tear down guy that I can be and I like I can genuinely sit here and say yes I had that moment of doubt but being able to get in his presence and shifting that heart posture you can't do that on your on yourself you just can't do it alone so getting you know asking God to do that and he did and I remember like I it turned from like kind of disappointment to excitement and I listen I I still to this day have the set up teardown sign in my office because it just reminds me of something it reminds me of a season where I thought God wasn't seeing me but he really did because oh listen I moved 37 couches like 59 desks uh back and forward and we were like hey no we're gonna do this we're gonna do this um and then it was like hey we're actually not going back we're staying in this building so I had to go get all the stuff from pine and and you know like it was it was just a season but I would not that's probably one of my favorite moments with God because every couch I lifted, I know this is going to sound stupid, but I was like, thank you, God, that I get to move this couch.

58:26 God, thank you that I get to move this desk. And it just did something in me. And it just made me like, you are in charge of your heart posture. You get with the Lord. If you feel like you're off, trust me when you just get in his presence and just thank him. It's a little thing. Just thank him for the struggle that you're in. I dare you to do that and watch God just start to shift how you respond in that season. something like going off of you like if you wouldn't have wouldn't have had that moment of like checking your heart posture you might not be sitting here right now like if we really get real like in a way like god was testing to make sure that your heart was in the right like are you going to be the set up tear down guy and do it to the best of your abilities because if you couldn't even do that who's how would you be sitting here you wouldn't be ready for this i think a lot of times we miss out on the promises and the things that God has for us because we chose to have a bad attitude in the learning, in the waiting. We don't want to be in the wait. We don't want to be in the learning. And so we try to either like fast track ourselves or have a bad attitude.

59:32 And God's trying to just allow us to learn, to be ready for that. You have to be able to progress and build off to like you, you would have never been able to be ready for this moment, you being in the role that you're in. And so I just really wanted to touch on that of just don't get so caught up in what you see right now. It's just God preparing you. That's all it is. Man, when I think about, man, how I didn't take a step out. this um this house like i get so emotional thinking about it because for several years it was difficult for me to believe god to do anything for me but to see god do things for other people and i think it was it was all the hits that i was taking it was it was those moments And this is kind of, it really just reminds me of like forgiving too, because there were these hits of like, but I did everything right.

1:00:42 Like we didn't have bad credit. We came, we were making money. We saved. We were very, we stewarded our money well. We set up when we wanted to give and all of those things. And there were things that happened where people used our name in the wrong way. And then there were things where people would take advantage or whatever. It was like the enemy just kept throwing and throwing blows and throwing blows. And I remember the moment when Dee and I, we were sitting in the bankruptcy room. And I cried because I thought it was so wrong and so unfair that because we had been so faithful to God. And I mean, there were seasons where we took all the money that we had and we gave it to advance the kingdom. And here I am filling out bankruptcy papers. Or here I am even in Jericho sitting in an apartment for people.

1:01:40 Like, Dad, we didn't do anything wrong. It's somebody else. And yet, here we are. And it was a time where, like, I didn't even recognize at certain points where I started doubting God. Like, yeah, I could believe God for this place. like we stayed near here because I believed that God was going to do I could believe God to pay off this place but it was like the enemy took everything that I believed God for for myself and he he just really tried to kill it and I remember in 20 I think it was just before 2018 it was 2016 you called Demario and you gave him a word and it was a word it was a word that he need it because we were about to have Nathan and people were calling our house and we're literally giving birth to our kid not knowing what the heck was about to happen and you gave a word and you were trying to get a hold of me but it was him who needed to hear it and he told me that word and it it helped to revive the little bit of faith that I had so then you walk into a couple of more years and his you're not seeing it and then we didn't plan for a lexus and i remember thinking like that i don't know what the heck is about to happen because kids cost money and so does babies uh daycare and we we were moving back into an apartment and so it was it was somewhere in there where god was giving words to to people to give to me and there came a point like after years of like, man, these trials hit me and I just stopped believing.

1:03:20 And there came a point, I remember it was during the time of the conference and I was sitting right over here and I was just warring with God. I had been in a time where I was on maternity leave and it was just me and God. It was silence, you know, and so I was sharing and just pouring out my heart. And it was the moment, I think, where my trust in him was regained and my faith in him was regained to say, I've got to trust to believe you. literally i was sitting over there and i was having conversation with god and he sent somebody to say the exact words that i was saying in the moment just to say i hear you he knew what i needed and here we are there's so much more to the story but here we are where i put my faith in god and even in the moments of disappointment he said like hey don't let up off the gas don't don't stop don't stop like feed faith starved out i'm not saying doubt's not gonna happen but feed your faith and wait and your the attitude the heart posture that you wait in pastor michael said it later on one of these things like is your is your heart posture frustration is your heart posture bitterness what is your heart posture the reason why we say it takes faith to forgive is because your heart is nasty when you ain't forgiving somebody like and so it limits It ties the hands of God up to give you the things that God has for you.

1:04:41 And so now here we are with the house and to see the joy on my kids' face. And this is like it can only be God. Literally. Nobody else can get the credit. That's why I'm going to be a billboard day in and day out. God is the one that did this. Wow. Just real quick. Look, I want to, before we go forward, because I think what's really cool about you guys and what's really amazing, and maybe you don't know this, you know, at home, you know, you get to see Pastor Jules and Pastor DeMario, you know, on Sundays and TC Pre, which, shout out TC Pre, it's amazing, you know, but it's so cool. Like, they have served so faithfully, and it's just really cool to see. Like, maybe, like, you know, internally you might have had a little bit of doubt, but being around you guys, It's like just the faith that you had and the faithfulness in the serving the vision of this church. It's for somebody coming in in an internship and trying to look like, okay, like what do I do?

1:05:40 Being able to be led by Pastor Jules and getting to see Pastor DeMario and just how they serve faithfully in every single season. It's just for me, it's rewarding to see like when you guys posted that, it brought tears to my eyes. And it's just, it's no, like, it was no surprise that God, like, came through and did that for you. And a lot of that is just, you guys just kept serving faithfully. Faithfully, faithfully, faithfully. So, I love you guys. I just wanted to say that.

1:06:08 Wow. Back in 2018, that's when things were really breaking for the church and all of that. And in a staff meeting, I prophesied concerning what God was going to do financially for this church. I said it was in February. I remember distinctively February 2018. And I said, God said, starting in March, we will have a $100,000 Sunday. Mind you, at that time, y'all two know, we were barely getting $18,000, $25,000 a month. And we were fasting and praying and believing God for that. I prophesied that word and sure enough when God says something and it is truly a word from the Lord it will happen. When that march came Natalie, God said, you know this is the first, this is March.

1:07:06 I said, oh yes God. And he said, I told you $100,000. I said, oh yes Lord. He said, get on the floor and birth it. And so I was in my closet. I didn't tell that part. I got on the floor and I began to pray. And I remember our son calling and saying, no, they announced at that time they would say how much we got. That first Sunday, y'all, after getting like $25,000, $18,000, it was $83,000. But y'all just said something. You got to persevere. Was it $100,000? No. We were excited about the $83,000. But what did God say? $100,000. The next Sunday, guys, it was Pastor Michael called me. He said, he said, Prophet is Todd. That's when they mess it with me.

1:08:00 I said, yes. He said, you know you be a prophet, don't you? I said, yes. I was, you know. He said, Mama, we did not get $100,000. We got $103,000. Y'all come on up in here. When God says something, the next Sunday, $118,000. The next Sunday, $128,000. And then God said from that point on, it would go, and this was my hand, up, up, up. That was the word of the Lord. And it has not gone down since. Now, hold on. The following February, one year later, God spoke to me. And he spoke to me and said, I'm going to bless you with a certain amount of money. And I was like, okay, remember my faith for this church.

1:08:59 Come on, y'all. One of y'all said something about it. Oh, I feel a Holy Ghost break right up in here. He said, I'm going to do it for you. And I'm like, okay, what's getting ready to happen? Why would I need that amount of money? Such and such and such. I was going on and on. Why? Because it was about me. Sometimes we all have faith for everybody else. God did not tell me exactly why he wanted to bless me or whatever. And so he was saying it was going to be the same thing. I'm going to speak it to you in February. March is going to happen. March came and went because my faith got this little for me.

1:09:42 But God renewed my faith a couple of months later. And see what happens is when God speaks something to us, and when the time goes, then we drop it. God had me to pick it up again. I began to renew my faith concerning what God said. Y'all don't hear me up in here. Many times a time limit will pass and then we get all down or whatever. But I'm telling you, it's time to renew your faith. And then later on, God said, Brenda, the reason I'm going to bless you and wanted to bless you in March is just because I wanted to do it. Just because you're my child. And God is letting us know even this night. The things he wants to do, the blood paid for it. And he want to do it just because you're his children.

1:10:39 And I'm telling you, I have seen God in the midst of a pandemic. I tried not to preach, y'all. But in the midst of a pandemic, God has made provision. You can say hallelujah all you want to, but you still got to have a down payment. Y'all don't hear me up in here. But if I tell you, God has got the down payment. We in that house. We haven't missed a note yet. and it's just been too much, y'all. Bless his name. Come on, somebody give God some glory right there. Hallelujah. You know, Pastor Brenda, as you were talking, what God just showed me was the woman who had the issue of blood. Come on now. Now, we talked about these steps of faith, but she was literally on the ground crawling and said, if I could just touch the hem of his garment, as Jesus walked through, if I could just touch the hem of his garment, I would be made whole.

1:11:34 And for somebody that's watching, you only have a little bit of faith for yourself. And that's all that God needs. Partner your faith up with God. Continue to like press through, press in, pray, talk to God, remind him of the word that he gave to you with the little bit that you have. He can do more. He can do exceedingly abundantly above all. You could ever ask our thing, even with your little bit. So I just want to encourage somebody with that. That is so good. So rich. Talking about a time where trials or doubt, you know, hit me and it caused me to take a step back in faith. Rewind about four years ago. I remember I was kind of moving into a place where we call it gifted giving to where like the Lord was literally using me and my household to bless people. I mean, at amazing levels.

1:12:28 And it was something that someone even spoke and said, hey, God is going to use you to distribute millions and all this money to people. Well, the year after that, a lot of things started happening. And the thing is that sometimes trials can hit you and they can make you forget about what God said about you. And so literally that next year, bankruptcy happened. Literally that next year, my salary decreased. That next year, had a child. And so, you know, where I could have seen it happen before because the financial status was good. We were flowing it in. We were blessing people. That next year, I was like, what? Like, literally, my nose was barely above water. And that was, I basically was kind of in that state for three years. And then just about a month ago, just talking about having the right community and the right people around you, Pastor Brenda, you know, we just started having a conversation.

1:13:22 And she said, let me pray for you. She started praying, and she literally said the words, you're a gifted giver. Don't you forget it. And it literally, you know, for the three years, I wasn't thinking about gifted giving. I was thinking about, look, I just barely got enough to pay bills and to live and to eat. But when Pastor Brenda said that, it reignited my faith in the thing that God said about me, about who I am as a person. And literally, I said, you know what? I'm not going to stop my gift. I'm not going to stop what God says I am because of my financial status at this moment. And so literally last week we said, hey, you know what, let's go ahead and let's bless some people. Let's exercise that gift of giving. Let's buy some people. And so we bought three people lunch, you know, $10 a piece. And that's not much money. But I'm exercising what God said about me as I had taken a step back from that because of the trials and the doubt that hit in that moment. So I just want to encourage you, fam, like whatever God has said about you, even if your circumstances right now contradict it, I want you to take some steps of faith.

1:14:21 Take some, and it might be a tiny little, just a baby tiptoe. Take the steps of faith because God still wants to do the thing that he said that he wants to do in you. So, yeah. No, that's good. And sometimes those steps that you're going to take is a sacrifice. Like we're thinking about everything that's happening, but sometimes that step is like, this is a sacrifice. But know that God, you're partnering with God. All you have is all you need. And we got God. So why not? Why not give him, as Pastor Mike said, the benefit of the doubt and just trust him. And just trust him. Amen. Well, family, you know, as you know right now, like we're in this season of crazy faith. And, man, we had an amazing Sunday of the crazy faith offering last Sunday. And so many of you guys, like, submitted your crazy faith cards. And so really what we want to do right now in this moment is just pray over some of your cards.

1:15:18 And so we've got some here. We want to pray live for you and just believe with you. The Bible says that where any two on earth agree on earth, then it'll be done in heaven. And so we just want to do that for you right now. So for this card, it says, you know, I'm believing for my purpose and gifts to be clearly revealed to me. So I just pray for you right now, Samara, that the gifts that God has put on the inside of you, that he will show you and that he will shine his light to show you exactly what he has put on the inside of your heart, what he deposited from the foundations of the earth. I declare and decree that you will walk in your gifts, that you will be a blessing to the world, even as we talked about this week, that you will be a blessing to the circle and to the people that God has called you to. You pray, you're asking that you can hear God's voice clearly, and I speak that over you, that you are his sheep and you know his voice and the voice of a stranger you will not follow.

1:16:10 I just speak and declare, Lord God, that Father, my sister is hearing you more clearly than ever, that Father God, even when she thinks that it's her, Lord God, I thank you that she's exploring, Lord God, that she's stepping out. Even when she feels something inside of her spirit, Lord God, that she'll step out on it in the name of Jesus. I thank you for faith and for what you're doing in her life. Father God, I thank you for this one that says that my crazy faith that I will get into Manhattan School of Music for musical theater. Father, I thank you, Lord. And I don't know what obstacles are in front of my brother or sister, but, Lord, I thank you that, Lord God, because of their crazy faith that you are causing that door to swing wide open in Jesus' name. and it's for your glory and for your purpose, Lord God. Cause them to be a light in that world. Cause them to represent, Lord God, in the world of musical theater, Lord. Open the door for them to get in that college in Jesus' name, Lord God. And we pray for everyone that has that same request in whatever school or whatever program they need to get in. Lord, we thank you, Lord God, for opening the door for them to get into that program.

1:17:04 This one says, they have crazy faith that they'll step into God's purpose for kingdom and be blessed with the fruit of the Holy Spirit and live out true forgiveness and freedom. Lord, I just thank you, Lord, God, for my brother and sister. I thank you, Lord, that they are living, Lord, God, this life of freedom. I thank you that forgiveness, Lord, God, is flowing through them in the name of Jesus. So, God, cause them to be conduits. So, God, that, Father, as they forgive and as they release people of their debt, so, God, that you will cause them, Lord, to catapult into the future that you have for them, into the purpose that you have for them in the name of Jesus. Father, God, we speak blessing and we thank you for their future in Jesus' name. And, Lord, this last one, Lord, that, Father, you will continue to transform their life, Lord. God, I thank you that generational curses and cycles are being broken, Lord God, whether that be financial issues, bad relationships, addictions. Father, we call out every generational cycle that was transferred, Lord, because it wasn't transformed. But Lord, I thank you that in this moment that you are transforming it, Lord God, in the name of Jesus and causing, Lord, this person to pass on, Lord God, deliverance, freedom, healing, and prosperity in the name of Jesus. Father God, we thank you for every request that is represented.

1:18:11 We thank you for every person, Lord God, that is needing deliverance, that is needing a door to open, Lord God. I thank you so much, Lord God, that you are doing it by the power, Lord God, of your word in the name of Jesus. I thank you for the seeds that we're sowing, that Father God, they are unlocking our faith. They are unlocking the future and the things that you have for us. So God, I speak blessing and I thank you, Lord God, for the crazy faith of all my brothers and sisters. I thank you that you're hearing every one of these prayers and you're responding to them in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. Well, family, hey, if you have not submitted your crazy faith card, you still have time. Go ahead and submit that. We want to continue to agree with you in prayer. We know that prayer changes things. It's the sauce here at TC. Absolutely. We love you guys. Absolutely. Well, maybe you're watching and you're saying, man, they're out here talking about faith and talking about God and what he's done. And maybe you've never made the decision to accept Jesus into your heart. Faith, it really is the foundation.

1:19:07 It is the foundation of our spiritual walk. And so I want to invite you to have an opportunity to accept this God that we've been talking about. I know that he's changed all of our lives. He's transformed us. He's taken bitterness away. He's taken hate away. He's even he's even for the person that didn't. They feel like they've lived the best life. Really, he's the one who saves us and gives us the abundant life, which is more than what we could have without him. And so I just want to invite you to come be a part of this opportunity to accept him, to be the Lord, which is the leader, the one who leads and guides you. And so if you want to say that prayer, just repeat these words after me. Here at TC, we don't pray alone. And so we're going to pray together even as a staff up here. And so right now you can just bow your head and repeat after me. Say, dear God. Dear God. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for sending your son.

1:20:00 Thank you for sending your son. Thank you for dying for me. Thank you for dying for me. Thank you for laying down your life. Thank you for laying down your life. And saving mine. And saving mine. God, I thank you that I am saved. God, I thank you that I am saved. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Come on. Listen, it's as simple as that. Like, everything changes from here. And it's about progression, not perfection. We talk about it all the time. I want to encourage you to text 828282. Text the word SAVED to 828282. What we want to do is we want to put resources into your hands to help you on this faith walk. Like, there's steps. There's steps to this thing. And so we don't expect that you would get everything right off the bat. But we want to put resources to help you as you take a step.

1:20:54 And so, man, we're so excited. We're so proud. We're so grateful to have you a part of the kingdom. All right. Come on, welcome to the family. Well, hey, guys, as we wrap up tonight, just wanted to let you know about a few things that we have going on. The first is Dig questions. Like, if you are listening to these Digs and you have questions, we want to hear them. We want to actually be able to respond. All you need to do is text Dig to 828282, and we'll get those questions, and we'd love to be able to respond to your questions. The other thing is our Christmas production coming up on December the 20th called F This Christmas. Yeah, it's going to be absolutely amazing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Forget this Christmas. That's right. 1:21:51 So we've got plenty of opportunities with family, with friends, with community to make sure that you catch that. And then last but not least, join us this Sunday, guys, for graduation day. Come on. It's about to be crazy. University. Move that tassel. Get your FU degree. Guys, it's going to be absolutely awesome. But, hey, that's all. We love you so much. Go out this week and live a transformed life, and we'll see you all later. Bye, guys.
