00 Hey, what's going on, everybody? Thank you so much for joining us for this week's message from Zoe Church Los Angeles. We're a church in L.A. that is committed to the message and the person Jesus as our King. And if you'd like to give this week, you can go to our website and you can give there. Also, I want to encourage you to like, subscribe, and share the message today with someone that needs hope. With everything that has transpired this last week, let's be those that are worshiping and choosing Jesus as our solution and as our king. Go in your Bible, Proverbs, go to Proverbs chapter 24. We are in a series that we've entitled Open Heaven.

43 Now, I'm just believing that for you, you'll live under an open heaven. that God's blessing and God's goodness will be poured out in your life. So really what we've been talking about for the last two weeks is our third week is stewardship of finances, how to handle money. And the reason why we're doing this is, I said this in the first week, but let me remind you in the Bible, there are 500 verses on prayer. There are 500 verses on faith and 700 verses on love. But in the Bible, there are over 2,000 verses on money, possessions, stewardship. Why? Because God wants us to know and understand how to handle his provision in our life. Let me just hear you. Has God been good to anybody today? God's been good to anybody. Come on. God's been good to me. I'm celebrating today 17 years of marriage. Hallelujah. Put up the photo right here. Put up the photo of my beautiful wife. Look at that. Come on. September. I feel some earth, wind, and fire. Do you remember the 21st night of September? Yes, I do. Hallelujah. And God's been good to me, better than I ever imagined, greater than I ever deserved.

12 So I gotta learn how to handle what God has placed in my life. Read our first verse today, Proverbs 23, verse four. Do not wear yourself out to get rich. Do not trust in your own cleverness. Cast but a glance at riches, and they gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. I like that right there. Just fly off like an eagle. I want to preach a message today. Write down the title. It's called Wings. Wings. Anybody here in this service, you ever felt like, where did all my money go? Did my money just fly away with wings like an eagle? I'll never forget when I was growing up, when I was old enough, my parents let me take over my bedroom and I got to start putting up all my posters. That's a real day in a man's life right there where you get to take over your own bedroom, put up your own posters. By the time I was a sophomore in high school, my whole bedroom, you couldn't even see the white on the walls. It was just all posters. I didn't have any football or baseball. I had all basketball posters all up in my bedroom. The best poster when I was growing up was a poster of a guy. He had his arms out like this. He's six foot six from North Carolina, Six-time NBA championship, the greatest basketball player to ever play the game of basketball.

40 Can I get a witness in the church? And the poster was called Wings. And if you went to somebody's house and they had the Wings poster, like, all right, all right. I see you, player. All right. That was the main poster, the Wings poster. I want to tell you that we've got to appropriately find out how to handle money because we don't chase money. We chase God. In fact, put this on the screen. I love this thought. Money will fly away if you chase it. But if you chase God, he'll teach you how to steward it. So the more I pursue God and the more I chase after God, the more God shows me how to handle the blessing and the provision that he has placed in my life. So I don't chase money. I chase what? I chase God. And as I chase God, God instructs me and teaches me how to handle the blessing of 17 years of marriage, four children, four chest hair, one minivan.

43 I don't know who I'm preaching to. Right? God teaches me. God wants to talk to you about money. Put up this next one. Nothing reveals to God more about where you're at with him than how you view or how you approach money. I just love that thought. The way that you think about and steward money is one of the greatest signals to God of where you truly are. So it tells God. It's a signal to God about where you're at, whether you're surrendered and submitted or you're holding on to an idol in your life. Remember, we do not serve money. We serve God. And the more I approach it with the right thinking, with God's thoughts, with God's approach, the more that I am free not only to live my life, but to serve my God. I don't think anybody gets up in the morning one day and is like, you know what?

41 I'm just looking for an idol in my life. And I'm just trying to find an idol that's going to destroy me. Yesterday, we were in our minivan and my nine-year-old, 10 this week, my boy, Mavvy boy's reading the animated Bible in the car. And he's in the back. And as he's reading it, he says, hold up, everybody. I want to read you something. I have discovered the 10 commandments. I said, oh, snap. Turn down the music. All right. He reads all 10 commandments. I was like, man, that's good. I said, now, son, which one do you think you should be working on? And he goes, honor your mother and your father. No, I was like, absolutely. And I said, and which one do you think your mom should be working on? And none of the boys had to answer. I said, honor the Sabbath. Come on. but I tell you God in the 10 commandments says you shall have no other gods before me so money cannot become my idol money cannot be what I serve and the more I tithe the more I'm obedient to the to give God 10 of my income the more the open heaven happens in my life and I am free from the love of money come on is there anybody here that you want to love God more than you love come on everybody clap together this is our prayer so why does god say to tithe how much did he say to tithe what was the what was the percent 10 why does he say this because it's like 10 apples he says out of the 10 i want one you keep nine you keep 90 when i give that one i am reminding myself and i'm reminding my bank account i am not my source god is my source i'm going to give you four things to write down today. Last week, I gave you all Ms. This week, I'm in the As. Okay, write down the first A today. You need to acknowledge, acknowledge. You need to acknowledge God is my source. When I give to God, I am saying before this money ever came into my account, it belongs to you. Because everything I have, everything that's good in my life,

50 it is from you. You are my supplier. So when I think about God, I think about God. He gave me, He gave me my wife. He gave me my beautiful children. He gave all the clothes that I have to wear. He gave all the food that I eat, all the relationships I have. Don't you just feel blessed today? Everything I have comes from God. When I keep everything, I am saying I made it all happen. I generated all this. But when I give back to God, I'm acknowledging. I just want to let me know, and you know, you're my source. Your employer might write your check, but God is your provider. And when I give to God what belongs to him, I'm reminding me and him, you are providing, you're my source, you gave me every creative idea, you gave me all my intellectual property is your intellectual property.

44 All my relationships, everything I have. In fact, read here in Deuteronomy. I love this scripture. Deuteronomy 8 verse 18. And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant, which he swore to your fathers as it is this day. For it is God who gives you the power to get wealth. Notice what the Bible is teaching us. God doesn't give you wealth. He gives you the power to get wealth. So God's never going to Venmo you all your money. God's going to give you strength to get up and work a job. He's going to give you ideas and creativity. He's going to give you the script to write, the song to write, the show to host. He's going to give you the job to build. Come on. God gives you wealth. No, God gives you the power to go out and create. I want to tell you today, you are not created just to consume.

42 You were created to build. And so God gives me the power to get wealth. You might say, well, the word wealth, I don't know about that. God wants me to be wealthy. God, well, it's there in the Bible. So what is it alluding to? The Bible says that God wants you to prosper in all things. He wants you to prosper physically, financially, spiritually, relationally. God wants every area of your life to be blessed. Anybody okay with being blessed in every area? so God gives me the power to get up in the morning drive myself to Starbucks order my pike with cream study this morning drive here preach he gives me the power to build my life and I want to encourage you today never believe the lie that you are your source God is your source God has provided for you. Even when you were faithless, God remained faithful.

41 Even when you didn't acknowledge that it was from God, he still blessed you, didn't he? In fact, put it on the screen. I love this. Nothing is off limits to God, not even my money. And so when I talk to God about my money, I'm saying, Lord, you could talk to me about my attitude. You could talk to me about my speech. You could talk to me about my relationships. You could talk to me. There's nothing. You ever have a friend that you're like, I so want to talk to them about this thing, but if I did, it might ruin or destroy our relationship. You ever have a friend like this? Like I have a friend that wears a Clippers sweatshirt and it's just destroying his life. And I'm like, how do I bring it up that that's the main thing that's holding you back from the will of God? You know, one of the things about the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit doesn't tiptoe around your life. Like, oh, I just, I just, I want to bring something up.

39 I just don't know if you're going to like it. Now, God will talk to you. And God will say, we're not going to act like that. We're not going to be like that. We're not going to post like that. We're not going to be. We are going to be holy. We are going to be righteous. We are going to be the children of God. We're going to be the light of the world. We're going to be the salt of the earth.

03 And God, when I give, I'm saying, Lord, all of it's yours. You can talk to me about anything. That's why, as we say all the time, we're never going to ask you for money, but we're going to invite you to ask God, God, what do you want me to give? Oh, put this next one on the screen. God gives the ability to create wealth for his covenant, not just for your comfort. So God's not giving you this ability to create this life so you can be comfortable. No, it has to do with his covenant that he's made with you that he wants his children to be blessed. He's a good father that wants his children to prosper. God wants you to prosper more than you want to prosper. God wants you to be blessed more than you want to be blessed. Anybody thankful for the heart and the will of God that you would be able to prosper today? Oh, I love this. So I need to acknowledge all of this is from God. And then write down number two, I need to assign.

56 I need to assign. I need to assign every dollar. I saw a statistic recently from Dave Ramsey, who does a lot of statistics on finances. He said in America, 95% of Americans create a budget. 95% of Americans believe it's important and they do create a budget. Only 26% can keep a budget.

21 So 95% create, only 26% can actually hold their feet to the fire and say, we are going to assign our dollars and it's going to look like this and we're going to live like this. And this is how we are going to move forward. So I want to encourage you today. I want you to assign your money. Money is like water. If you don't tell it where to go, it'll go anywhere it wants. So I'm assigning. And the first thing I do when I get paid, I assign 10% to go to God. Why do I do that? Because God said to do it. So I assign. I go, boom. That's the first thing I'm going to do is I want to make sure my children are blessed. Zoe is blessed. We're living under an open heaven. So I'm going to assign my money on where to go. I'll never forget. When I was in high school, I played a lot of basketball. And when I was in basketball, one time my coach was this six foot six tall redheaded guy. And man, could he yell.

13 He loved to yell at us. And I'll never forget one time in the first quarter, he pulled me out and he yelled at me. and he got in my face. And he goes, the way he said my name, it's still, you know, my eyes still, you know. The way he said my name, he yelled my name, Vich! And one time he pulled me out of the game, he got in my face and said, Vich! You're only in the game to do one thing. In my head, I was thinking, what is the one thing? You're only in the game to do one thing. And I was like, he goes, shoot the ball! You're in the game to shoot! I was like, well, now that you say it like that, put me back in. I didn't know that's what you want me to do. I was being polite, passing it, sharing it, have another teammate. If you want, oh, I can shoot now. I didn't know that's much. That's my assignment. See, you've got to assign your dollars to say, oh, the first 10% goes to the Lord. And then I'm going to make sure that I keep doing what God has asked me to do with what he's put in my life.

14 Oh, look at Luke 14. For which of you intending to build a tower does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it. So I got to sit down and I got to count the cost. I got to count. What is it going to cost me to build my family and build a legacy? What is it going to cost me in LA if I live on the West side a lot? And so I'm going to make sure that I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to give my money to God. Why? Because I cannot afford for heaven to be closed. I need the windows of heaven to be open to my life. Somebody say amen. So I'm going to sign, and then I'm going to make sure I'm saving, because you never know when a flat tire or a trip to the dentist or an anniversary may appear. We got to buy some flowers. Hello. And so I got to save money. I got to save money. I've got to make sure that I've got money for my future for my kids, and I keep on assigning my dollars. I'm telling them where to go.

13 I'm telling them, you don't run me, I run you. don't waste your time don't waste your money you assign your money to accomplish for your life what you could never build in your own strength in my own strength I cannot make the blessing of God happen but if I assign the money to go where it's supposed to go the windows of heaven will open it and I'll have more blessing. I'm just telling you right now, today, 17 years later, all the times that this lady has forgiven me, all was hallelujah. Praise the Lord. I'm blessed and I'm blessed because I'm living under an open heaven. My prayer for you is let me say it again. God can do more with 90% that's blessed than you can accomplish with a hundred percent. That's not. And God will supply your needs according to his riches. So the first thing I do is I acknowledge. I say, this stuff is from you. You are so generous. You are so faithful.

14 You have been so kind. You've been so good. God, how could I? I can't hold back. I've got to give to you what belongs to you. So I acknowledge you're my source. I assign my dollars. Write down number three. I'm going to accumulate. I'm going to accumulate. So I'm building, not just consuming. I'm stocking up. It's pretty cool today down in San Diego. My little brother is starting a church today. He's launching his new church. Come on, shout out to Discover Church, San Diego. And my sister's there. My parents are there. And my parents are amazing. And I don't know how many of you know this, but my dad and Julia's dad went to college together. It's where they both would come to faith and find Jesus. They both got filled with the Holy Ghost and got filled with the Spirit, called to the ministry. Both of our dads are elementary majors turned preachers. And both of them came from nothing and started with nothing. And last year, both her dad and my dad told us both how much they want to leave us as an inheritance. And I was like, man, I don't know what you're going to leave. I was expecting like a piece of gum and a four iron.

27 I didn't know. I didn't expect a lot, but they told us the amount. And I was like, wow, that is amazing that you have been able, my whole image of my dad growing up, every Friday was his day off. He'd be sitting there paying the bills and working stocks and saving money. And over a course, this is back in the nineties, like you're never going to believe this, but the Cowboys were good in the nineties. It's crazy. I know you're like, wait, what? You got to watch Netflix docs to believe it now, but they were good. And so in the nineties, my dad would just sit there and sit there and he's building and he's building and he's building and he's building. I want to tell you, the Bible says, do not despise the day of small beginnings. You might start small, but over time, your life and your faith and your world is going to grow. Somebody say amen. And so I'm, listen, greatness was not built in a day. Greatness is built daily. It's called the compound of consistency. And I just start accumulating and I'm building stuff up. I'm building my children. I'm building my business. I'm building my future. I'm not consuming. I am building and I'm doing my best to accumulate. Oh, this is how I feel about God's word. When I find a scripture, I store it into my heart. Could you imagine after this service, we got triple bean pizza out here after church. Who's excited to go have some pizza?

47 It's the first time we ever had this. So could you imagine I'm out there after the service and I see one of y'all, and you're like, Pastor Chad, our marriage is not doing good. Do you have a Bible verse that maybe you could share with us that will encourage us in our marriage? And could you imagine? I'm like, yes, let me get on chat GBT and find a verse.

10 No, no, no. I'm storing and building God's word in my heart so I can walk in the authority of what he says. So I'm not just saving money. I'm saving truth in my life. You've got to store up and build in you truth, righteousness, and the call of God for what he's called you to become in your life. Somebody say amen. So I'm not being called to consume. I've been called to build. Oh, I love this. Proverbs 21, verse number 20. There is desirable treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise. but a foolish man squanders it. But a foolish person spends it all at Trader Joe's, but a foolish man squanders it. There is desirable treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise. You know what I'm saying?

03 The cupboards are full. They're full, F-U-L-L, at the wise person's house. They have been saving and they have been storing and they have been building and they have been accumulating. so in the wise person's house, there is resource. In the foolish man's house, they have nothing because as much as they get, that's as much as they spend. I just wanna say to a few people here today, you don't have a money problem, you probably got a spending problem. It's me, hi. right? And so, and so the problem is we think the lie that if I get more money, all my problems will go away. No, no. Money is a revealer, not a healer. And so if you don't practice it now, you will not practice it later. And God's watching your stewardship. Again, nothing indicates to God more about where you're at in your faith than how you handle your money because it's telling God what you can be trusted with. And so I want to encourage you today, be faithful to be wise. Put it on the screen. I love this. Wise people build and store, foolish people waste. You don't have a money problem. You have a you problem. Stewardship is about self-control. Self-control will take you farther than any paycheck can. Amen to that.

28 So I got to get some self-control. Oh, I'm walking through Zara. I want to buy everything. I've been God called the spirit led me to H&M. I want to buy everything. No, no, I don't care where you are. No, I assigned my dollars. I'm living on purpose. I'm living with mission. I'm getting God's wisdom. I am. I am acknowledging that God called me to live a certain way. And so I'm not just going to do and spend. I'm going to build. Oh, come on, everybody. Clap and thank God. Stewardship. Stewardship. That's why I invite God. God, talk to me about my resources. Talk to me about my time. I got all this time on my hands. What do you want me to do at this time? All this talent you've given me, all this ability, all this gifting, what do you want me to do? Got all this treasure. It's time, talent, treasure. None of it is off limits. How do I build your house, and I know you'll build my house. How do I give you glory, and how do I build my legacy?

26 I'm not trying to get something. I'm trying to give something. I'm not building my name. I'm living for your name. I'm not here to consume. I'm here to build. Come on, clap. I'm here to do something for the glory of the… Y'all better clap like you believe today. He's going to give me wisdom. So the more I acknowledge, the more I assign, the more I build. Builds. It might be a slow build. It might be a slow build. It might be a slow build. It might be a slow build. I'm just telling you, I've watched God work miracles in lives. Anybody else? So I'm going to do my best to acknowledge you're my source. You're my provider. You have made a way where there seems to be no way. You've stretched dollars when I didn't have enough dollars. You stretched them. You made it happen. You have been so good. I have never, the Bible says this, I've never seen the righteous forsaken and I've never seen their children begging for bread. Do you believe that today? Watch another scripture. My God shall supply all of your needs according to his riches and according to his glory. And needs could sometimes be financial.

32 How many of you have ever been in need of a friend? And God sent you a new friend. How many of you have been stuck spiritually and you needed a moment in God's presence and you stood in God's presence and he just unlocked something? So whatever you need today, my God shall supply all of your needs. Do you believe that? He is a need meeting God. So my question to you is always, what do you need? Heaven has the supply.

17 Do you believe it? That's why I'm not tapping into me. I'm tapping into faith. So I got to acknowledge you're my source and help me to assign with wisdom. You know, whenever you get paid, I had somebody after the first service, this sweet girl in our church. She said, Pastor, can I ask you a question about tithing? Like, should I tithe once a month? Or she's like, because of my line of work, I get paid every day. So what should I do? And I almost said, what'd you do to get paid every day? But I didn't say, you know, I didn't say, I thought it though. I was like,

55 you get paid every day. Hook a brother up. Like, what do you do? every day. I'm like, what? And I said, well, if I was you, if I was you, this is just me. If I was you, this is the way my mind works. The moment I get paid, the moment I tithe. But if you want to wait till the end of the month, that's between you and the Lord. I like that she was asking the question. Because I think so much of the answer you're looking for is in the question you ask. God, what do you want me to do?

27 When you get to heaven, you know the last thing you're going to say. Why did I tithe? I could have been down there keeping 10% from me this whole time. You think you're gonna say that? Not on your life. I'm gonna get to heaven and say thank God my heart was here because my money is where my heart is. Amen? So I'm gonna acknowledge God's my source. I'm gonna assign my dollars to the best of my ability. Your phone's ringing. And that is not an iPhone. We know that. That's not an iPhone. That's, you're in the green. We can sense it. 100%. No iPhone has that ringtone. Lord, we just thank you for supplying all of her needs according to your riches.

22 We speak the 17 over her life. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. You're good, God. You're good. Even when we're not, you're good. I'm going to acknowledge. I'm going to assign. I'm going to accumulate. I like that word accumulate so much because I'm going to keep banking and building. Some of you are breaking generational curses in your family. Come on. breaking them. Julia's dad did it. My dad did it. And I'm walking in the blessing of his life. I'm walking in the fruit of what he built over time. And the Bible says that your children's children will be blessed because of you.

22 right? I'm leaving a legacy. That's my goal. When I die, when I die, God forbid my kids go through all the receipts and there was all these secrets and all this stuff. No, when I die, I want to leave a legacy, not a mess. So this stuff matters because it's about, not about you, it's about your generations to come. He's the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. So I'm going to acknowledge, I'm going to assign. I'm going to accumulate right down the fourth one. Worship team come. I'm going to have the right attitude. I'm going to have the right approach. I'm going to have the right mindset. Come on, remember, let me remind you, your attitude is your altitude. You'll never go further than your attitude in life. And if you've got a poverty mindset and you've got a negative mindset and you've got a mindset that says, I don't know if God will and I don't know if I can and I don't know if it's going to happen, then it won't happen. It'll be done according to your confession.

15 But if you've got a confession today that God before me, who can be against me? God will bless me beyond my wildest dreams. God's gonna do for things for me. Come on, clap after the Holy Spirit. God's gonna open up a heaven. He's gonna make a way. He's gonna shower down his blessing. Oh, come on, clap. Like you already know that God's gonna do it. You know he's gonna be faithful, generous. Come on, give him a praise today. I didn't deserve it. I didn't earn it. I didn't make it happen in my own strength. It was an open heaven. All I did was give one apple and I got to keep nine. And God blessed me beyond my wildest dreams. And so I'm going to have the attitude of gratitude. I'm going to have the attitude of faith. I'm going to have the attitude of confession. And I'm going to believe money will not fix my problems. Only God can do that. How could money heal you?

09 Only God can heal you. How could money deliver you? Only God can deliver you. How can money, money can bring happiness. Only God can bring joy. And I'm just praying over you that you'd have the attitude and the mindset that understands what this thing's all about. Money is not evil. It's the love of money that is. First Timothy chapter six, for the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil for which some have strayed away from the faith in their greediness and pierced themselves through with many, many sorrows. Hebrews 13, 5. So therefore keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have. Be content with what you have. Be content with what you have. I've learned in life, I got to be content with a little, and I've learned in seasons to have contentment with a lot. Whether you're in the middle, in the bottom, or at the top, doesn't matter. You've got to learn how to be content when you look at your bank account and you go, Lord, you're going to need to come through here. Or you look at your bank account and go, thank you, Jesus. It doesn't matter. You've got to acknowledge God, that God's been faithful.

21 God's been generous. God's been kind. God's been loving. And if you lose that attitude, if you lose that attitude, what will happen is you'll start to look at your account and go, look at what I built. Am I not so talented? Wow. I just worked so hard wow little old me from little old nowhere pretty impressive am I right no no no if you just stay here and you go wow look at what you've built look at what you've done through your servant look at what you've established with your covenant you have been so faithful you have been so good amen to that i just love this money magnifies who you already are money exposes the heart it doesn't change it more money won't fix your internal world or your character or your heart it doesn't it just exposes what's already there so so remember if you're greedy with a little you're going to be greedy with a lot if you're generous with little you will be generous with much. Amen? Have you ever received a $5 Starbucks gift card? Let me see your hand. Have you ever received a $5 Starbucks gift card? No one has ever received a $5 Starbucks gift card and went, really?

02 five bucks you get a five dollar star wars give her you're like all right I ain't mad at that. That's like at least an Americano. and your generosity might look like small now but i've watched god allow good stewards to steward little and he just expands it. And then all of a sudden, what you're stewarding looks like wings. All of a sudden, what you're stewarding, you need wisdom and wise counsel because you cannot do it in your own strength. You need somebody to help you handle. That's the attitude that we're trying to accomplish is that you're saying, Lord, it's all yours.

55 I know this stuff can't heal me. I know this stuff can't fix me. Only you can do that, God. put up this last thought generosity with little will mean generosity with lot God I know that if you'll teach me how to again God's trying to teach you how to handle this stuff he's trying to give you wisdom insight revelation knowledge understanding so that you can handle the blessing of God on your life so that when you get to handling so much it won't overwhelm you I'll use the same principles that I used when I had nothing I'll use the same principles now that I have something. It's just graduating to handle it a little bit more. And I'm praying for us, Zoe, that we'll not live for blessing, we live from blessing. because ain't nothing worse than somebody that's like i'm trying to get there you ever meet somebody in la they're like next five years i'm gonna go i am gonna eat nothing but celery i'm going to i'm just gonna i'm gonna get there no no no hold on slow your roll slow your roll we don't know what there's gonna be we know what god looks like and we're gonna serve the lord with gladness and whatever God wants us to have, he'll give it to us to steward.

05 And I'm just gonna keep worshiping and keep praising. I'm already blessed. I'm not trying to go get blessed. Amen. Last verse today, 2 Corinthians. Put it up on the screen. This is so beautiful. Jesus, last scripture, it says, Jesus, for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor so that you, through his poverty, you might become rich. Come on, stand to your feet today. Through his poverty, he might become rich. I just love that scripture so much because Jesus, though he had everything, he gave it away and he gave it away so that us, his people, we could receive the blessing of God. And I'm praying for us that we don't try and go get blessed. We already through the cross, we already are blessed. Jesus, though he was rich, He became what?

00 He became poor. So that through his sacrifice, we might become rich. Amen. We might not be rich in money today, but I'll tell you what we're rich in. We're rich in salvation. We're rich in faith. We're rich in strength. We're rich in joy. We're rich in peace. Come on, anybody thankful for what you're rich in today? the lie, the lie of the enemy is to get you to believe that if you work so hard, you'll be blessed. No, we're already blessed. When we die, where are we going? Straight to heaven. When we get to heaven, what are we going to do? Walk the streets of gold, sit at the banqueting table. What are we going to do when we get there? We are going to worship God forever. We're going to join with the angels and we're going to sing. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, the one that was, the one that is, and the one that is to come. Amen to that? So don't go and try and get blessed. I'm going to try and be this, that, or the other. No, I'm going to do my best to know I'm already blessed with a blessing I cannot earn and a blessing I cannot deserve. It's called the goodness and the faithfulness of my God. He has been generous to me.

18 He has been kind to me. He has been loving. Oh, come on, Zoe. Let's pray today.
