We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.

… now we have received now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. verse 12 again we have received not the spirit of the world but the spirit who is from God that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. What things? The things in verse 9 things which God has prepared for those who love him the things that for all of history have been outside of the reach of every human being. They've been relegated to the realm of mystery reserved for this period of time. And in this period of time God has given you the Holy Spirit and He has the key to the secrets, the mysteries of the Father. And He searches the heart of the Father. This is an amazing thing to me. He searches the heart of the Father for the secrets, the mysteries, the hidden keys, the insights, the graces that are in the heart of the Father. He's looking, he's the ultimate search engine. He's looking for everything that would be needed in this moment so that when he comes to you and ministers to you, he gives you exactly what was in the heart of the Father that was designed for you. …
… except the spirit of the man which is in him. Even so, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Let's keep it flowing. It says, now we have received not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God that we might, that we might, that we might, the things that have been freely given to us by God. Keep going, keep going. These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. Keep going. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. This is all about God giving us his mind by his spirit so that we can freely know. so the strategy of heaven is to break the lie off of your mind that makes you wonder if God said it and God is getting ready to shift it and you are going to go from wishing to hoping to believing to knowing and there's a flow there's a wave coming your way in this season worship God with me if you believe it It's coming. …
… But no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him, these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. And now we have received not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. 1 Corinthians 2, 9 and 12. Here we have more than enough to stretch us for all the days to come. And so there's a stage for every age, a place to use the talents we are given and to see faith grow. Blessing to you all as you serve in the many ways God has prepared and you see that we function together in one blessed body. We will never tell him there's nothing for us to do. Amen. We pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us each a role in the body of Christ so that we are never without a place in which to carry out our part. … Now listen to verse 12 He says now we have received Not the spirit of the world But the spirit who is from God That we may know the things That are freely given to us of God How are they given? He says they are given to us by the Holy Spirit, not the spirit of the world, but by the Holy Spirit, which means, listen carefully, which means if the Spirit of God is the one who is showing me the truth, expounding the truth, if the Spirit of God is the one who's speaking to His Spirit within me, that makes two requirements of me. First of all, I must have a right relationship with Him, and that right relationship is what? That right relationship is that I must be filled with His Spirit, and secondly, I must learn to walk in His Spirit. And then by faith, by faith I am to listen.
