Supper with the Savior
Alistair Begg, 2026-09-25

… oh, why, I didn't know that anybody in here had ever, in fact, faced those things. Listen to Paul again. Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither the sexually immoral, nor the idolaters, nor the adulterers, nor male prostitutes, or homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. And then here's the great sentence, and that is what some of you were. And that is what some of you were. Not that is what some of you are. That is what some of you were. But the grace of God has brought you out of that, not to make us smug, not to isolate us, but to say, Dear Lord Jesus, How I long that the same grace that has rescued me might rescue my friends. The church is a company of saved sinners. Penultimately, there are many, many people who are spiritually sick and dying for want of the Word of God that will heal them and save them. …

Why Gay Is Not Okay
Robert Jeffress, 2026-09-09

… absolutely not you can't fear God and disobey God at the same time and that's what Paul is saying here. Here's another passage, 1 Corinthians 6, verses 9 and 10. By the way, this is a verse that many Christians misuse when talking about homosexuality. Verse 9 says, or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers shall inherit the kingdom of God. Some people misuse that verse and say, well, homosexuality is the unpardonable sin because it says very clearly, no homosexual will be in heaven. Well, if that's the interpretation you're going to give that verse, you better go back and read it more clearly and carefully because if that's what it's saying, that's not the only group that's going to be excluded from heaven. It says, for example, neither will fornicators be there. A fornicator is somebody who has sex as a single adult, sex outside of marriage, premarital sex. If you use this interpretation, that means you're not going to heaven. It says, nor idolaters. Idolatry is putting someone or something else above your affection for God. Have you ever cared more about a person or a possession than you have about God? …

Enjoying Jesus in Sexual Purity
Marshall Segal, 2026-01-03

… nor men who practice homosexuality, sexual sin, sexual sin, sexual sin, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. They won't. And such were some of you. Such was me. But you were. what? Washed. You were sanctified. You were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. You were sexually immoral people. But you're not that anymore. You're not. You were washed. You were sanctified. You were justified. It's already done. You are pure. In Christ, in the eyes of God, you are already pure. And you never could have done that. There was no amount of washing or working or weeping that you could do to make yourself pure before God. But God sent his son to die for your impurity. And he sent his spirit to raise your cold, lifeless, lust-filled life from the dead. and now you are forgiven, washed, and pure. By grace alone, through faith alone, you are pure. …

The Perversion of Love (Ephesians 5:3-7)
John MacArthur, 2022-06-12

… 1 Corinthians 6 and verse 9, do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Then verse 11, such were some of you, but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God." This is what conversion does. transforms you, transforms you. And so, verse 18 of that same chapter, Paul says, flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body, and that can include even venereal disease. Don't you know your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you're not your own. You've been bought with a price. or glorify God in your body. …
