In this way, love has been perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment; for in this world we are just like Him.In this, love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so we are in this world.Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.Herein is love made perfect with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as he is, even so are we in this world.

… and glorified at the right hand of the Father. That John wrote in 1 John 4, verse 17, as he is so are we in this world You see, the Mount of Transfiguration is a prophetic picture of a generation that sees the kingdom come with power. Luke's gospel adds some spice to this transfiguration story. Luke's gospel says, and Jesus, his appearance became altered. The word there is other. He became other. In other words, the disciples who knew him well, knew exactly what he looked like, all of a sudden they didn't know what he looked like anymore. Because he was different. But they saw it happen to him, so they knew it was him. And his clothing, in Mark's gospel says, became shining. And the use of that word back in its day is it was a supernatural shining. But Luke found a different word that I like even better. in Luke 9. He says, and his clothing became glistening. But the word glistening is a word that means like lightning flashes. So imagine you're Peter, James, and John. You're a little sleepy. Jesus prays long prayer meetings. You've been there forever. It's the middle of the night. …
… he's got two completely different models to use to form us into in 1 John 4 17 it says as he is so are we in this world not as he was it's for that reason the scripture teaches Christ is in you you are in Christ he is seated at the right hand of the father you are in Christ at the right hand of the father you are seated in heavenly places. That's not a statement to make us feel good about the moment. It's an invitation to think and see from a different location. It's the normal Christian life. to think and see from divine perspective. Repentance introduces you to the mind of Christ. Here's the bottom line. You're more than you think you are. You're positioned higher than you realize. You've been given more tools than you could possibly imagine to reveal Jesus in the earth as he is, the victorious one over sin, death, hell, the grave, everything. That's the reality that he exists in right now. …
… 1 John 4. 1 John chapter 4 starting in verse 17 love has been perfected among us in this that we have boldness in the day of judgment that's an amazing thing because as he is so are we in this world but I'd love to bring that subject up again but not today there is no fear in love verse 18 perfect love casts out fear because fear involves torment but he who fears has not been made perfect in love jump down to verse 20 It's all in the same thought. If someone says, I love God and hates his brother, he's a liar. He who does not love his brother whom he can see, how can he love God whom he cannot see? The whole point is, is that when we confess, we have a spiritual experience, a reality in the unseen realm, it has to be measurable in the scene. How we treat the natural world actually illustrates and exemplifies exemplifies what we are claiming to have happened in our own personal lives. …
… And he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. Love has been perfected among us in this, that we may have boldness. Someone say boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. What a promise. Because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love him because he first loved us. If someone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from him, that he who loves God must love his brother also. Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. and everyone who loves him who begot also loves him who is begotten of him. By this we know, that's a repeated phrase. …
