How to Walk in the Will of God
Levi Lusko, 2026-09-14

… if you don't know Jesus and walk with him in intimacy. For as Paul will tell us in Colossians 2, verse 3, in whom, Jesus, are hidden all. Someone say all. The treasures of wisdom and knowledge. It is wisdom personified. That's what we find in the person of Jesus Christ. That means then the closer you walk with Jesus, the more you're going to understand God's will for your life. If you're not doing that today, you are out of God's will. So to ask the question, what school should I go to? Should I start this career, launch this business, marry this person? That's getting the cart ahead of the horse if you're not walking in a flourishing vine branch connection, John 15, 5, with Jesus Christ. Whoa, that's great about Jesus, but I need to know, right? He is the ultimate storehouse of wisdom, which means the simplest, most earthly, foolish person who has Jesus has, in God's eyes, the wisdom that no intellectually or emotionally savvy unbeliever has. The most important single kernel of wisdom in the world is Jesus, and he's not just a kernel, because Paul said, all wisdom and knowledge are hidden in him. If you seek true wisdom, there is nothing you can seek or search out or do that will help you become more truly wise than knowing and enjoying Jesus. …

Do Not Be Foolish (Ephesians 5:15-17)
John MacArthur, 2022-08-28

… Now remember, everything we need to know is in Christ. In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, Colossians 2.3. We have all wisdom in Christ and in His Word and by the work of the Spirit in us. Back in Ephesians chapter 1, just notice two verses to substantiate this. Chapter 1, verse 8, well, we can look at verse 7. We have redemption through the blood of Christ. We have the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He lavished on us. And then this, in all wisdom and insight. This is talking about what happened to you at your salvation. You were introduced into the world of wisdom. In verse 18, Paul says, I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, that you will know what is the hope of His calling and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. How would you know that? Verse 17, I pray that God will give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. …
