So Potiphar left all that he owned in Joseph’s care; he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well-built and handsome,He left all that he had in Joseph’s hand. He didn’t concern himself with anything, except for the food which he ate. Joseph was well-built and handsome. And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not aught that was with him, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was comely, and well-favored.

… Yes, it is. Look at it in Genesis 39 verse 6. Joseph was very handsome and well built, just like your boy. And Potiphar's wife soon began to look at him lustfully. You nasty little cougar. Come and sleep with me, son. That would be disgusting if somebody says, sleep with me, son. That's horrible. She demanded. it. But Joseph refused to look. Now I want you to see his commitment. I want you to see this. She said, sleep with me. He said, I'm not even looking. So many people are trying to figure out what the line of sin is, what the line is. And God says, I need you to rip up that list too. I want you to be above reproach. She said, sleep with me. He's not standing there naked like are you serious are you what are you what do you mean what do you mean like many of us would be sitting up in the room like hold on I don't know this is comfortable laying in the bed next room she said sleep with me demanded and he didn't even look at it and some of the protection and the parameters you need for your relationship are gonna be extreme people are going to say some of y'all need to cut off the DM's some uh-huh some of y'all need to change cell phone numbers some of y'all need to get off of websites or a software that lets your spouse know what you're looking at. …
… the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake. and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in his house and his field. So he left all that he had in Joseph's charge. And because of him, Potiphar, his master, had no concern about anything except for the food he ate. Now Joseph was well built and handsome. And in the course of time, his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph. And she said to him, Come to bed with me. Joseph refused. He said to his master's wife, Look, because of me, my master has no concern about anything in the house, and he has put me in charge over everything. No one is greater in this house than I am, and my master has not withheld anything from me, except you, because you're his wife. so how could I do this great evil and sin against God? Yet she kept on talking to him day after day but he would not listen to her to go to bed with her or be with her. …
Well, I believe that the Joseph from the book of Genesis is an excellent example of seeing this very thing. In Genesis chapter 39, verses 6 through 10, a little bit of backstory about Joseph. He has been betrayed by his brothers, sold as a slave, ends up in the house of Potiphar. everything Joseph touches basically turns into gold and Potiphar notices this, that the favor of God is upon him. And so Potiphar raises him up, gives him much responsibility, and that's where we pick up here in verse 6. Thus he left, that's Potiphar left, all that he had in Joseph's hand. And he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance. And it came to pass after these things that his master's wife cast longing eyes on Joseph, and she said, lie with me. I think you know what she was meaning. But he refused and said to his master's wife, look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand. There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you because you are his wife. …
