For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds and inscribe them on their hearts. The Coming Of The King – Part 2
Jack Hibbs, 2026-05-27

… though I was a husband to them, says the Lord, but this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Church family, listen. Christ came in the first coming to institute and to initiate this. And then he was rejected as prophesied in Scripture, and the Jews who were saved took the gospel all the way to where you're sitting tonight. when the seven year tribulation period comes God is going to double down on Israel again and fulfill this in totality that's what the seven years are for amazing Luke chapter four all this dovetails together Luke chapter four verse 16 Jesus's words are in yellow on this uh on this display uh so he that's Jesus came to Nazareth where he had been brought up. … of the land of Egypt. My covenant that they broke though I was their husband declares the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days declares the Lord. I will put my law within them. I will write it on their hearts and I will be their God. They shall be my people. No longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother saying, know the Lord, for they shall all know me. From the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more. Oh, there's so much here we don't have time to dive into. The big picture point is God is saying a new covenant is coming, a new way of relationship to me through which I'm gonna make it possible for all people to know me directly through a sacrifice once and for all for all their sins. This is a promise of what Jesus would do when he would come as our great high priest and he would offer his life as a sacrifice for all of our sin. …

Mercy in the Midst of Wrath (Revelation 6:12-17)
John MacArthur, 2024-03-10 · Scripture reading

… It is a promise of the future salvation of Israel, a time when God will regenerate them, put His law within them, and on their heart write it, be their God and they will be His people. I will forgive their iniquity, their sin I will remember no more. That is the future salvation promise to the nation Israel specifically, unmistakably. That is the promise. I want you to see that promise in another context, Ezekiel 39, Ezekiel 39, verse 25. Therefore thus says the Lord God, Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob, referring to Israel, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for My holy name. They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid, when I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall be sanctified through them in the sight of the many nations. …

… Israel. This is the covenant which I'll make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it, and I will be their God and they shall be My people. If I'm their God and they're my people, my law is on their heart. And they will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for they will all know Me. From the least of them to the greatest of them, declares the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will remember no more. When God forgives and God forgets sin, at the same time He gives a new heart, and He He writes the law in that new heart, and it is the law of the new man. This is repeated again. In the 32nd chapter of Jeremiah, verse 38, they shall be My people, and I will be their God. …

… itself is totally destructive to advance the name of Christ. Jeremiah 31, 33, but this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put My law within them. On their heart I will write it, and I will be their God, and they will be My people. Same thing in Ezekiel 36. So you have here the promise of the kingdom, the millennial reign of Christ, which Matthew 19 calls the regeneration, which Acts 3 calls the times of refreshing and the time of restitution, The day of Christ, but the Lord is saying, the end is set. The promises of the king coming, all fixed. Psalm 2, right? God's going to set His king on the hill. This is what Isaiah pointed to. This is what Daniel pointed to. This is what Zechariah pointed to. Isaiah 11, I just have to look at that for a moment because it's such a wonderful promise. A shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. …
