Thank you, that one lone person. In verse 16, God makes a promise. He says, I will dwell with you. I will walk with you. He says, I will be your God and you will be my people. What a great promise from God. How many of you realize you need God to be your God when it comes to this issue? And he says, I will be your God and you will be my sons and daughters. By the way, let me pause for a second. I just thought of something that I meant to say at the start. We had our women's Grace Girls Conference yesterday. And I'm so proud that my daughter, Anna, is the head of the women's ministry. She's doing a great job. And Tiffany, stand up, Tiffany is the assistant director. That's Mike McCoy's daughter. Y'all did a great job. I'm proud of y'all. I got nothing but great reports about it. I meant to say that at the start, and I forgot. And then when I thought about sons and daughters, I thought about my daughter, huh? …
… immediately the Lord talks about the Sabbath. Then in Genesis chapter 3, verse 8, we read about how God was walking in the Garden of Eden. And in Leviticus chapter 26, verse 11 and 12, we see the exact same language in the Hebrew describing how God is walking among his people through the tabernacle. Then we read in Genesis chapter 2 verse 10 through 12 how Eden is filled with gold, delium, and onyx stone. And we see all those in the tabernacle. And this delium is really interesting here because you might say, well, those are just common things. But no, delium is only mentioned one other time in the entire Old Testament after Eden. And it's when it's compared to manna. And the tabernacle has a jar of manna right in the middle of it. That's all in Exodus 16, 33 and Numbers chapter 11, verse 7. Then Eden has a tree of life right in the center of it. And the tabernacle has a menorah or a lampstand in it, Exodus chapter 25, verse 31 through 40, that's shaped and described exactly like a tree with branches and blossoms and flowers. …
… Then in Genesis chapter 3, verse 8, we read about how God was walking in the Garden of Eden. And in Leviticus chapter 26, verses 11 and 12, specifically verse 12, we see the exact same language describing how God is walking with his people in the tabernacle. And then in Genesis chapter 2, verse 10 through 12, Eden is described as a place filled with gold, delium, and onyx, all of which are represented in the tabernacle. And delium's really interesting because you might say, well, that's just kind of a coincidence, but delium is only mentioned one other time after Genesis 2. And it's referring in the book of Exodus, Exodus 16, 33, to the manna that God provided in the wilderness in Numbers chapter 11, verse 7, those two verses together make clear there was some of that manna that was to be included in the middle of the tabernacle. Then Eden had the tree of life at the center of it, and the tabernacle had a lampstand in it, Exodus 25, verse 31 through 40, that's described, depicted like a tree, complete with blossoms and branches and flowers. …
