The Star of The Story | Jentezen Franklin
Jentezen Franklin, 2025-12-21

… How specifically God knows who you are, where you are, and how much he tracks you. According to Luke chapter 12 and verse 7, the very hairs of our head are not counted. They are numbered. you have the average person has a hundred thousand when they're fully grown they have a hundred thousand hairs on their head a hundred thousand and what is amazing is those hairs on your head will stay from two to seven years the longest being seven years and then they fall out and new ones come in their place. If you're lucky, amen. If you got the right genes, but please understand that God doesn't just know and look at you and say, well, he's at 973,231 hairs on his head, but he has a system. God has a numerical system. According to this text, a chronological order for the hairs on your head that, that, that when you combed your hair to come to church, hairs 123,273 hairs, 193, they stayed in the hairbrush. God knows that God knows of the hairs that fell out of your hair when you were a baby and were in the quilt or they washed down the shower. He's tracking one that went down the sink this morning. He is aware. I'm not making this up. He is that aware of you. If he knows the very number of the hairs and when they fall out, he keeps them in chronological order so that it's the original and he's keeping up with all of it …

The Book of Exodus (Part 1)
Francis Chan, 2017-01-20

It reminds me of what Jesus says in Luke 12 verses six and seven how he says look he goes there's not a sparrow okay. These sparrows where you can get two of them for a penny. He goes not one of them will fall to the ground without my notice And then he says, every single hair on your head is numbered. Like, there's not a hair of your head that I am not aware of. Okay, do you believe that 100% right now? That God notices everything, everything. And that's what he's saying to these people. He goes, look, I know, I know my people are suffering. I've seen the affliction. I've heard their cry. I know what's going on down there. And yet he lets it play out for a bit for his glory. And then, you know, and then he tells Moses, I'm going to have you lead these people. You're the one that I'm going to use. I could pull them out otherwise, but I'm going to use you. You're going to deliver them. And so Moses, you know, says in verse 11, who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt? …

… He attends the funeral of every sparrow. And then he says, but the very hairs of your head are numbered. Friend, he knows things about you that you don't know about you. You think he doesn't understand. You don't understand how much he does understand. Not a person here knows how many hairs you have on your head EXCEPT A FEW GUYS THAT I'M LOOKING AT, RIGHT? HA, HA, HA. THE VERY HAIRS OF YOUR HEAD ARE NUMBERED. AND THEN OUR LORD SAYS, FEAR NOT, THEREFORE ARE YE NOT WORTH MORE? ARE YE NOT OF MORE VALUE THAN MANY SPARRERS? SAID THE ROBIN TO THE SPARRER, I WOULD SURELY LIKE TO KNOW WHY THESE ANCIUS HUMAN BEINGS RUSH ABOUT AND WORRY SO. said to the sparrow, to the robin, I think it must be that they have no heavenly father such as watches you and me. Are you not worth more than a sparrow? There is the father factor. Robert Louis Stevenson used to delight in telling the story about a ship that was at sea on a rocky coast. …
