Chad Veach, 2026-06-22 · Scripture reading

… trusted with very little can also be trusted with much. And whoever has been dishonest with very little will be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth like Bitcoin, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with somebody else's property, who will give you property of your own? No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. May I explain that to you? Friend, if you can't trust God with your finances, how is God going to trust you with true spiritual riches? Prove me, God says. Prove me. Put me to the test. God will renew our faith. And I'll tell you something else He'll do. He'll rebuke our foes. Look in verse 11. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sake, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground. Neither shall your vine cast their fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. These were farmers. Maybe you're not a farmer, but you still have foes, hospital bills, car repairs, your loss of job, recession, depression. All of these things, God says, I will come to your side. I'll rebuke these things that have been devouring your income. …
