The Time Is Here | Chad Veach
Chad Veach, 2026-06-28 · Scripture reading

… Peace in heaven and glory in the highest. some of his Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, teacher, rebuke your disciples for they are too loud like Zoe church people. I tell you, he replied, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out. I want to preach a message today, write down the title. It's called The Time Is Here. In fact, these three stories I'm going to read today are all about God's timing. and I just love this because God is the God of time in Kronos and Keros. Kronos is where we get seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, season and I just want to tell you that God is sovereign over all of time. A day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day to the Lord and what I believe about God is that God is always trying to get you to the right place with the right people at the right time. You understand? So there is Kronos and there is Keros. …

Your Only Hope
Jack Hibbs, 2026-03-29

… They refused. The Bible tells us in Luke 19, verse 39, we read it a moment ago, and I stressed it, and I'll stress it again. and some, you ought to circle the word some, and some of the Pharisees, these are the religious leaders. I'll explain more of this in a second. Some of the Pharisees called to him, to Jesus from the crowd, and they tell him, the rabbi, that's the word teacher, rebuke your disciples. Will you forgive me in advance if your little ears are hearing this? because we're not allowed to say this around our grandkids. But this is for educational purposes. Rabbi, tell your disciples to shut up. That's what they were saying. Think of the insanity of this. Think of this form of religious atheism. Rabbi means teacher of the word of God. Did they believe it or are they lying? I think they're lying. …

Ed Young Jr., 2025-04-13

… Peace in heaven and glory in the highest. Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, Teacher, rebuke your disciples. I tell you, he replied, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out. As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace, but now it is hidden from your eyes. Let's all use our imaginations for a second. For some of us, we haven't really done that in a long, long time. But let's put ourselves in the shoes, in the hooves maybe, of a donkey. In the brain of this animal. I'm just a donkey just standing by my mom tied up it's a beautiful sunrise today mom look it's gorgeous the donkey's mom probably said yes honey it is and this young donkey had a good life he had donkey friends and he did donkey things. No one had ever ridden him before. So he was like chill. …

A Round of Applause, Rev. Dr. Howard-John Wesley
Howard-John Wesley, 2020-04-06

… Peace in heaven and glory in the highest. Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, Teacher, rebuke your disciples. I tell you, he replied, If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out. Today, as we meditate on the word of God and enter into this season of Holy Week, I want to preach and talk to you about a round of applause. A round of applause. Beloved, I believe within each and every human heart, whether it's spoken aloud or whether it remains hidden and quiet, that within every human heart, there's a deep desire to be appreciated. There's a desire to be affirmed. There's a desire to be recognized and respected for what you've done in life. If the truth be told, all of us need safe spaces and places where we can be acknowledged and appreciated, where we can be respected, that within all of us there's a desire at some moment in life for someone to pat us on the back and say good job, for someone to acknowledge the work we've done, for someone to applaud us. …
