… and Rick felt like he wanted to end today's show by sharing a word of encouragement. Jesus said, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Did you hear that? The Bible is going to outlast the earth and the universe. Why? Because God's word is eternal, because truth never changes. If it was true 5,000 years ago, it was true 1,000 years ago. It's true today, and it's going to be true a million years from today. This is why it's more important to know God's Word than anything else. Opinions change, but truth never changes. It's why we focus on studying it here on our Daily Hope broadcast. Thanks for listening, and let me hear from you. My email address is rick at pastorrick.com. Now that's two R's in the middle, rick at pastorrick.com. I'd love to hear from you, and thanks again. Be sure to join me next time as we look into God's Word for our daily hope.

… with points for doing good. and Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away changing times and unchanging truth Peter quoting from Isaiah in his first letter says all flesh is like grass and the glory of man like the flower of grass the grass withers the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever. And then he says, and this is the word that by the gospel was preached to you. And this is my last quote, but in a fascinating book that I just picked up, These Strange New Minds, How AI Learned to Talk and What It Means. The guy is Christopher Summerfield at the University of Oxford, the professor of cognitive neuroscience, blah, blah, blah. Obviously phenomenally clever. … letter or stroke shall pass from the law until all is accomplished. Now, heaven and earth will pass away. They definitely will pass away. Psalm 102, Isaiah 34, Isaiah 51, heaven and earth will pass away. Revelation 6, Revelation 21, 2 Peter chapter 3, Matthew 24, 35, heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Yeah, this is a disposable planet. We can't save it. It's going to disintegrate in an implosion of unparalleled power, something this earth has never seen. It's going to be obliterated. And not only the earth, but the heavens, the entire creation goes out of existence. and is replaced by a new heaven and a new earth. But until then, not one part of this Word of God will pass away until everything is fulfilled. Everything, all the prophecy, all the pre-written history, has to be fulfilled. And not one single letter, smallest letter, or small stroke, a little hook that goes over the top of a Hebrew letter, or a dot on an I, down to the minutia, none of it is going to pass away. …
… until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. But concerning that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven nor the Son, but the Father only. For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day when Noah entered the ark. and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away. So will be the coming of the Son of Man. The two men will be in the field. One will be taken and one left. Two women will be grinding at the mill. One will be taken and one left. Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. …
