What If I Got It Wrong?
Steven Furtick, 2026-08-10 · Scripture reading

… the beer they were carrying him on, and the bearers stood still. He said, Young man, I say to you, Get up. And watch this. Verse 15. The dead man sat up. Even a body that isn't breathing knows that voice. I said, even a body that has ceased breathing knows that voice. Don't even have a pulse, but I know that voice. Being carried out of the gate. Then the Bible says he sat up and began to talk. Jesus was talking, and then he was talking, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. They were all filled with awe and praised God. A great prophet has appeared among us, they said. God has come to help his people. This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country. Remember, that isn't the story I want to preach about. Here's what I want to talk about today. Verse 18. John's disciples told him about all these things. Who Is This
Chad Veach, 2026-05-17

write down point number two today. Jesus moves towards the broken filled with compassion. I just love this because Jesus, he finds himself, he's walking over to name. Name, you can't find it on Google or Apple maps. It's in the boondocks. It's in the woods. It's past Palmdale. you can't find name. Jesus rolls up into Nain. He like, dang, this is small. Y'all only got one stoplight. You ever be to a small town and the, and the gas station is also the grocery store. It's like a little Mart. They got milk and lighter fluid all in the same place. He's up in there. He's like, this is small. He walks out of the grocery Mart. He sees a woman. the Bible says she's a widow. So she's already suffered. She's already had her heart broken. She's a widow and her only son has now died. So she's got double the pain. They're walking with the boy. The pallbearers have got him in the coffin and she's grieving. Jesus sees her. When he sees her, he does not walk up and solve the problem first. When he sees her, the Bible says he sees her and he has compassion. Why does Jesus have compassion? Because he is compassion. He's not trying to put it on. He's not trying to say, what do I say in this scenario? He is a man fully acquainted with grief, a man of sorrows. So he walks up. He's saying, I see you before I do miracles. I am for you and with you before I'm the God that needs to perform the mighty act. …

Come Through, Jesus
Frederick Haynes III, 2026-05-10 · Scripture reading

… The text says, the dead man sat up and began to speak. Jesus gave him to his mama. Fear seized all of them, meaning reverence, and they glorified God, saying a great prophet has risen among us and God has looked favorably on God's people. And word spread all throughout Judea and the countryside. They saw something. And they had to say something. I'm not coming through. Y'all know that ain't original with me. You go to the airport and they got signs in certain spots that's basically say, if you see something, say something. And the last time I saw that thing, I had just witnessed God do something amazing in my life. And I said, I ain't going to use that in order to look for somebody doing what they shouldn't do right now. I'm going to use that to say something about what God has done for me. If you see something, you ought to say something. And, y'all, that has been one of the superpowers of black folk. …
