… he don't want to just add to you he wants to multiply you i can paraphrase it for you best if you look in luke chapter 9 verse 10 through 17 but long story short um this was probably theologians believe the largest crowd jesus ever spoke to and um he it's it's chronicled in the bible as the miracle of 5 000 the fish and the loaves but what ended up happening at this moment is that Jesus is preaching. Start at 9 o'clock, 10 o'clock, 12 o'clock, 1 o'clock, 4 o'clock, 5 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 7 o'clock, and he's still preaching. Literally, the disciples was like, yo, when is bro about to stop preaching? I'll prove it to you right now. Look what it says in verse 12. It says, when the day begin to wear away. Let me tell you what that means in Hebrew. When the day began to wear away, the 12 came to him and said, hey, Jesus, yo, we probably need to send the multitudes away. …

Wait 'Til I Get My Money Right (Part 4)
Michael Todd, 2026-08-26

… Y'all think I'm just telling a story. Look at verse 16 of Luke 9, verse 16. it says then jesus took the the five loaves and two fish and he looked up to heaven and he blessed it he broke it and he gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude okay i want you to see something you probably never saw what he did he took the piece of bread he said god they've honored me and brought it to me first they didn't give it away first they brought it to me so I'm asking you to bless this that's what happens when we tithe when you say god it's not enough to meet my needs but i'm honoring with you with this first and i'm asking you to bless it and he broke it and he gave half of it back to peter and peter you know if i was peter i'd be like hold on i gave you the whole thing you know we already don't got enough why didn't you give me the whole thing back he said because when you are not enough and when you don't have enough i become the miracle so he said now go go give it away now this doesn't make no sense like i already gave you what i had and it's not enough now you're asking me to give beyond what I asked you what I gave you he didn't tell the disciples to eat it think he blessed it he broke …

8/2/26 Give
Mike Schmitz, 2026-08-01

… Then he said, Bring them here to me. And he ordered the crowds to sit down in the grass, taking the five loaves and the two fish. and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing, broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples who in turn gave them to the crowd. They all ate and were satisfied and they picked up the fragments left over, 12 wicker baskets full. Those who ate were about 5,000 men, not counting women and children. The gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. Wait, you'd have a seat. So there's a question that comes up, and I think it's a question worth asking. And the question is about money. And the question is, can money buy happiness? Can money buy happiness? I think the obvious answer, we'd say, well, of course not. We know that money doesn't buy happiness. You've never seen, I mean, people will say things like, you've never seen a U-Haul behind a hearse. Like, we know that at some point, money just cannot make us happy. …

The God Of Pieces
Steven Furtick, 2025-05-19

So the Bible says, verse 41, and now I'm ready to preach, taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided two fish among them, and they all ate and were satisfied. The disciples picked up 12 basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. The number of the men who had eaten was 5,000. 5,000 men fed and broken pieces to carry away. Now we go to the storm and we see it with different eyes because we realize that even though Jesus is not physically in the boat with them in this storm, they carried a basket into the boat that was full of the pieces of leftovers that came from the touch of the master just a few minutes ago. In other words, Jesus sent them into the sea knowing that there would be a storm, but he did not send you into this storm empty-handed. …
