… an excellent wife who can find. She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not harm all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax and works with willing hands. She's like the ships of the merchant. She brings her food from afar. She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household and portions for her maidens. She considers a field and buys it. With the fruit of her hands, she plants a vineyard. … And you wonder why our nation's in trouble. Proverbs 31, verse 10. Proverbs 31, verse 10. Who can find a virtuous wife? That's what this guy's asking right here. Who can find one? I have to tell you, when I became a Christian, And I went out with a couple of Christian girls and found out, I don't think Christian girls are supposed to do this. And so I decided, in my mind, I decided there are no Christian girls. So I'm going to do what God designed me to do, I thought at the time. Follow Jesus, learn everything I can about the Bible, make money, and serve the Lord. and that's what I did that makes sense I know how to do that and I'm at work one day which is true, I was at work I just happened to be playing volleyball at Newport Beach I was at work, all I had to do was be near a phone and I'm playing volleyball and my friend goes, hey Jack, you see that girl over there that is a Christian girl I said, shut up no such thing, serve the ball no really, and he says hey Lisa, come on over here and I just wouldn't pay attention and so she says hi and hi how are you I'm just like rude because I had this thing against Christian girls look if you're an ungodly girl I know you're an ungodly girl I get it but a Christian girl I don't know I don't think they exist …

… Look, if you will, in verses 10 through 12. Who can find a virtuous woman? Her price, her worth, her value is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. The real worth of a wife is not in her outward charm, though I thank God for outward charm. Not in the beauty of her face, though I thank God for that. But the real value of a wife is her virtue. who can find a virtuous wife. Her price is far above rubies. Now God doesn't compare her with a diamond, but a ruby. A diamond catches and reflects light, but a ruby has that inner glow. It is the beauty of a ruby that's on the inside. And that's what God is talking about when he speaks of the value of a wife. And then you think of her good works. …
