Sermons on Revelation 12:10

And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down—he who accuses them day and night before our God.I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ has come; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night.

Slaying the Great Red Dragon
Robert Jeffress, 2026-08-13

… Woe on earth. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven. I think this is the tribulation saints, those who are martyred for their faith in heaven, saying, now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down. He who accuses them before God day and night. That's what Satan was doing. He was accusing the brethren day and night. That's what he's doing right now. The throwdown hasn't happened yet. This is still future right now. he is in heaven. But fortunately, Satan isn't the only one in heaven. Hebrews 7.25 says, we have an advocate who makes intercession for us day and night. In 1 John 2.1, John says, brethren, I've written these things to you so that you may not sin. But if you do sin, you have an advocate, a lawyer in heaven who is Jesus Christ, the righteous. Aren't you glad we've got an advocate in heaven for us. That's who we have, Jesus Christ the Lord. He accuses them before God day and night. Thank God he has been thrown down. Verse 11, and they, that is the tribulation saints, overcame him because of the blood of the lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. He's talking about the tribulation saints. And he says, and they overcame Satan. What do you mean they overcame Satan? They got …

Setting the Stage for Disaster │ Msg 1/22
Chuck Swindoll, 2026-07-07

… Satan means to be an adversary, to resist. sometime in noun form it is rendered simply the adversary or the accuser revelation 12 verse 10 tells us that he is the accuser of the brethren i'm sure it would include the cisterns as well he accuses god's people day and night and here the accuser appears among the other angels pause and remember satan is not a little imp with a red body and a pitchfork sitting on one of your shoulders whispering ugly little nothings in your ear that's a medieval caricature that satan would love you to believe he is the most attractive brilliant powerful archangel that god ever created. He has not lost his brilliance. He has not lost his power. He has not lost his beauty. He is also insidious and his favorite method of working is behind the scenes. Because he is invisible does not mean he is therefore not real. he is real. As we will see a little later, he has personality. And he is engaged in a wholesale commitment to destroying God's people and ruining, where possible, God's plan. …

We Are Never Getting Back Together
Levi Lusko, 2025-08-18

… And in that day, Scripture says there will be a prosecuting attorney. His name is the accuser according to Revelation chapter 12 verse 10, which says he accuses God's people before the throne day and night. And what kind of lies is the devil going to make up against you? He won't have to. He will tell the truth and be very dangerous and effective because he will simply give the father an accounting of every wrong thing you've ever done. you have an accuser, but you also have an advocate. An advocate is someone who represents you legally and has the power to do so officially and formally. You're crazy if you think you want to represent yourself when Jesus says, I'm willing to represent you and to stand before the Father on your behalf. And on that day, when that happens, the Bible says that if we do, even as Christians sin, this is verse 1, look at it. If anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous. What are his credentials to represent us? …

Six Foundations for Spiritual Battle
David Platt, 2025-07-16

… immortal, everlasting, never failing, which then leads us to Revelation chapter 12, verse nine through 11. Listen to this. This is how the whole story is gonna end. That great dragon was thrown down. Who's that? That ancient serpent. Who's that? Who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth. His angels thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heavens, saying, now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come. For the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. And they have conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Ladies and gentlemen, this war has already been won. Jesus, our King, has conquered sin and Satan. He has risen from the dead. He is reigning on high right now. And one day he is coming back. And Jesus is going to curl the adversary and all his minions and deceptions and accusations into an abyss. …
