Into The Dark Realm – Part 4
Jack Hibbs, 2026-09-30

… they have greater powers. Again, Michael, Gabriel, Lucifer. But fallen angels, we do not know how many there are, but we know that there's a lot. In Revelation chapter 12, verses 3 to 4 and verse 9, John says, and another angel, or excuse me, another sign appeared in heaven. Behold, a great fiery red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems on his heads, His tail, here it is, drew a third of the stars of heaven, swept them up, swept them away, took them with him, and threw them to the earth. Wow. Verse 9 tells you who it is and who they are. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the devil and Satan. What does he do? He deceives the whole world. Church, is the world being deceived right now? have you heard somebody say that they believe in this thing or the other thing? I met somebody the other day that they believe the earth is flat. …

The Coming Kingdom – Part 2
Robert Jeffress, 2026-08-27

… names that are used to describe Satan. He's called a dragon. That refers to his beastly character. We saw it in Revelation 12 verse 3, a red dragon ready to devour Christ and the church. Satan doesn't usually appear that way as a dragon. If people saw him as he really is, they would run as far and as fast from him as they could. He's called the dragon. He's called the serpent, referring to his subtle nature. Remember when the serpent appeared to Eve, it wasn't as a dragon. She wouldn't have been compelled to follow him. He appeared as a beautiful creature. And many times Satan appears that way to us. Paul says he can appear as an angel of light. Thirdly, he's called the devil. Diabolos in Greek, it means slanderer. One of the things Satan does is he accuses God's people day and night before the throne of God, according to Revelation 12, 10. But this word diabolos also refers to his diabolical nature. In John 8, 44, Jesus called him a murderer from the beginning. You know, you read in the media, these horrible accounts of men who kidnap children or kidnap other women and do horrible things to them, torture and things that can't even be described. And you wonder, where does that come from? …

He is the enemy of Jesus, and he is the enemy of everyone who would follow Jesus. …

Slaying the Great Red Dragon
Robert Jeffress, 2026-08-13 · Scripture reading

… Look at verses 1 and 2 of Revelation 12. A great sign appeared in heaven, John said. I saw a great sign. The great sign appeared in heaven. A woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and on her head, a crown of 12 stars, and she was with child. Who is this woman? You can read every commentary under the sun and get a different idea, but it's not hard to understand who the woman is. if you know your Bible. Remember in Genesis chapter 37, verses 9 to 11, Joseph had a dream. And in his dream, he saw the sun and the moon representing his parents, Jacob and Rachel. And the 12 stars he saw were their 12 offspring, the 12 sons of Jacob. This was a representation of Israel. It's very clear this woman represents Israel. And it says in verse two, she was with child, a woman in labor. You know, the church is never described as a married woman or a woman in labor. She is the bride of Christ. But here Israel is a woman who's about to give birth. And she cried out being in labor and pain to give birth. As we'll see in a moment, the child is Jesus Christ. …

… The dragon tries to kill the child, but God protects him, eventually carrying him up to heaven. The woman then has to flee for her life into the wilderness where she hides for 1,260 days or three and a half years. So the child obviously is Jesus. I think we all can see that pretty clearly. But who is this woman and who is this dragon? Is the woman Mary? Is the woman Mary? I mean, she seems like an obvious answer since she's the one that gave birth to Jesus. So does that mean the dragon is a reference to how Herod tried to kill Jesus the moment that he was born? By the way, how many of you have a dragon in your nativity sets? One day I'm going to get filthy We read it selling a biblically accurate nativity set, one that includes a ferocious dragon that you put right by the manger in the scene. What we need at Christmas is more dragons, right? Or maybe the woman that doesn't represent, maybe it's more than just Mary though. …
