And all who dwell on the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life belonging to the Lamb who was slain. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, every one whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.

… that is to those who dwell in heaven. And it was given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. Verse eight, all who dwell on the earth will worship him. Everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the lamb who has been slain. Notice his three activities. First of all, the antichrist will not be fearful to blaspheme the name of God. He will claim to be God himself, and he will say horrible things about the true God. Secondly, he will attack God's people. And third, the Antichrist will attract the worship of many. Now that is the Antichrist. But beginning in verse 11, John describes the third person of this satanic trinity who will assist the Antichrist in his rise to power. We call him the beast out of the earth or the false prophet. Look at his characteristics, three of them all in one verse, verse 11. Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon. First of all, John says, this false prophet comes out of the earth. What John is suggesting here is this false prophet is not quiet as fearsome as the Antichrist is. He comes out of the earth. Secondly, he has less power than Antichrist. …
… and language and nation and all who dwell on the earth will worship it except everyone whose name has not everyone will worship the beast whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of the life of the Lamb who was slain. That means, does it not? I just offer it to you. That to have your name written in the book before the foundation of the world, a book whose name is the life of the Lamb who was slain, so the slaying of Jesus is in the mind of God before creation having your name in that book keeps you from worshiping the beast. you don't get into the book by not worshipping the beast you're prevented from worshipping the beast by being in the book this is sovereignty this is Johnny Erickson Tata's life so I don't think it'll work to say that he chose us in him means he chose Christ and then we get ourselves into Christ and then we're in the elect because we got into Christ I don't think that works and lots of other arguments could be brought but second argument for how you escape individual unconditional election, and that is to say, he foresaw your faith. …
… tribe, tongue and nation and all who dwell on the earth will worship him whose names have not been written in the book of life of the lamb that's kind of a cool statement because all those who dwell on the earth there's two different groups of people mentioned in that one verse there there are those who dwell on earth and then there are those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life, isn't there? Which implies those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life do not dwell on the earth. Hear me carefully. Even though you and I live here right now, do we dwell on this earth? According to God's word, our citizenship is in? Heaven. We're simply here ministering the gospel of God. We're not home yet. We're going home someday. Does that make sense to you? You're not an earth dweller. We are a heaven dweller. We happen to be here. We actually are here, as C.S. Lewis put it, that God has sent us into enemy-occupied territory as Christians. …
… Amen. We're new. And so in the middle of that verse, an authority was given to him, that is the Antichrist, over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him. Wow. Whose names have not been written in the book of life of the Lamb, or what is known as the Lamb's Book of Life. Everybody's in the book of life. You need to get your name in the Lamb's book of life. You get your name in the Lamb's book of life, that's how you keep your name in the book of life. But if your name is not in the Lamb's book of life, then your name will be blotted out of the book of life. Does it make sense? No? Yes? Maybe some of you are like scratching your head on that one. from the foundation of the world, verse 9 if anyone has an ear to hear, let him hear he who leads into captivity shall go into captivity he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword here is the patience and the faith of the saints then I saw another beast, John said, coming up out of the earth notice, not the sea this time, but out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon and he exercises all the authority of the first beast, the Antichrist, in his presence and causes the earth and those who dwell on it to worship the first beast, …
… which exists before the foundation of the world according to Revelation 13 8 the book of life in which are written all of the chosen has a name. The book has a name. This is Revelation 13 8. The book of the life of the Lamb who was slain. That's the name of the book. It's on the cover. Your name is in there, my name is in there if you're a Christian. The Lamb was slaughtered in the mind of God before the universe was created. The book of the life of the Lamb who was slain. He not only conceived and planned and chose and predestined according to the counsel of his will, it all folded into Christ who would have his bride. It's all to unite that verse 10 is just so beyond me and my capacities to know what he means by to unite or to sum up all things in Christ. So we were chosen in Him, verse 4. Predestined through Him, verse 5. Redeemed in Him, verse 7. …
… toward you and toward me for the glory of God. Revelation 13, all who dwell on the earth will worship him. This is the beast, by the way, whose names have not been written in the book of life. Now, our names, most of us, have been written in the book of life, so we celebrate that today. The book of life of the lamb who was slain, and when was he slain? Well, he was slain on the cross. Well, this text lets us know he was slain from the foundation of the world. In other words, before there was an earth, Jesus had already in the books of heaven given himself for the sins of the world. It's a crazy thought. We can imagine eternity future. I'm going to go to heaven when I die. I'm going to be with God in glory. I'm going to be there forever with him. I'm going to have eternal life. But that same eternity that is future is past. God has always been. …
… The Antichrist is ruling, and if you look over at chapter 13 of Revelation and verse 8, it says, "'All who dwell on the earth will worship Him.'" "'Everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. Everybody who has not been written in the Lamb's book of life will worship this beast, this Antichrist. And he's very effective. And in spite of everything that's going on, in spite of, say, two billion people dying, In spite of hell running rampant because the restraint is off, in spite of immorality, sin and transgression everywhere. There will be indifference on the part of many. In Matthew 24, this also records the Lord's sermon parallel to Luke 21. This is a very familiar passage, Luke, or rather Matthew 24, 37, for the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. Noah's building a boat. He's warning for 120 years, judgment's coming, judgment's coming, judgment's coming, and nobody pays any attention, and the whole world drowns except Noah and his family. …
