Robert Jeffress, 2026-08-18

… those who refuse to take the mark and follow the Lamb wherever he goes. Look at verses 12 and 13. Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying, write, blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds will follow them. Unlike unbelievers who will be persecuted forever and ever, those who die in the Lord, that is, they are in Christ. They have been forgiven by Christ. They are blessed. Blessed indeed, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors and their deeds follow them. See it. Heaven is a place of rest. And you put that together with God's original design for rest. Heaven is a place of everlasting refreshment with God himself. Everlasting freedom from all sin. And everlasting restoration to God, to others, and to the world around us. …

Maybe it's summed up as well as anything in Revelation 12, 17, where it says about the the devil, that he makes war with those who keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus. He doesn't have to make war with everybody else. He already owns them. They're a part of his enterprise. But he makes war with those who keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus. Now, Satan, for most of his operation, will stay hidden below the surface, particularly in a religious and refined culture. He's happy to work in a secretive way. But eventually, as that culture gets more and more corrupted and more and more blatant in their transgressions, he doesn't have to hide. Pretty soon He surfaces, as He is doing in our country now. I read an article the other day that said, it may well be that the first government authorized religion in America will be Satanism. It's finding its way into elementary schools where there are Satan clubs. …
