Look! Jesus is Coming Back
Guest speaker, 2026-10-07

He had a name written that no one except himself knew. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood and his name is called the Word of God. And the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen, ooh, I love some good linen, white and clean followed him on white horses. now out of his mouth goes a sharp sword that with it he should strike the nations and he himself will rule them with a rod of iron he himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of almighty god and he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written king of kings and lord Lord of Lords. Are you looking forward to that day? A little bit of context here because we're jumping in, not to the middle of the book, we're jumping into the tail end of this book, the book of Revelation. Not only the tail end of the Bible, but the tail end of the book of Revelation as well. So John is the author of Revelation. He's authored five books total, for prior to this. He's authored the Gospel of John for a second and third John, and now we have Revelation. And he's living in exile right now because he's the only apostle, tradition tells us, that wasn't killed for his faith. However, he was boiled alive in a cauldron of oil. …

The Coming King
Robert Jeffress, 2026-08-25

… about himself? Would you like to know? I don't have a clue. Nobody knows. That's why it says, Nobody knows except himself. We don't know what it is. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood. It's not in his blood. It's in the blood of his adversaries on earth who are fighting him. And his name is called the word of God. This is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. And notice in verse 14, the description of the king's army and the armies, which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following him on white horses. Who is this army from heaven that follows him? Some people say it was the angels. Maybe. The tribulation saints. Maybe. Maybe it was the Old Testament saints. It's the church. It is you and I. How do I know that? There was that description. They were clothed in fine linen. Remember we saw earlier that the bride was making herself ready in fine linen, which is the righteous acts of the saints. Now look at a description of the warrior king in verses 15 and 16. And from his mouth comes a sharp sword so that with it he may strike down the nations. What is that sharp sword? It's the word of God. The word of God is alive and it's active and it's sharper than any two-edged sword. God's word is what gives life to some and pronounces death upon others. Remember the Old Testament description? God's …

The Coming Of The King – Part 3
Jack Hibbs, 2026-06-03

… that no one knew except himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God. And the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen. Okay, this is awesome. We went from the bride of Christ clothed in fine linen to being an army. Every guy. All the guys in the room were getting a little bit concerned about us wearing girls' clothes in heaven until this part. This part's like, all right. all right and the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen white and clean followed him on white horses now out of his mouth goes a sharp sword that with it he should strike the nations and he himself will rule them with a rod of iron that's called the millennium that's his government for a thousand years he's going to rule he himself treads the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of almighty God and he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written king of kings and Lord of Lords. …

The Thread of Grace - Louie Giglio
Louie Giglio, 2024-12-08

… I bet he is fierce. How is he dressed on the white horse? he's dressed in a robe dipped in blood. he's dressed in grace and his name is the word of God. And then the very last words in the Bible. Do you know them? someone said, I am coming quickly. Yes, come Lord Jesus. Close, very close to the last ones. The very last words in this book. Of course, you know what they are now. What are they? some version of grace. This version, the very last word of the word. chapter 22, verse 21, the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen. Of course, you have his wisdom. Yes, you have his strength. Of course, you have his life. And yes, you have his righteousness. You have his purpose. You have his dignity. you have his destiny, you have his image. But the thing he wanted, the one on the throne, you didn't know that you needed to have with you was his grace. …

… Satan, you're a pervert. He perverts what God has made. And you read over there in Revelation chapter 19, verse 13, concerning Jesus, and it says this, His name is called the Word of God. That's His name, the Word of God. Now, what is the conclusion that you draw from that? That the character of the Bible and the character of Jesus are linked together. God Almighty has given them both the same name. If one is fallible, so is the other. If one is a fraud, so is the other. If one is spotted with error, so is the other. You see, the same name is given for the Word of the Lord and the Lord of that Word. Now, as you study the Bible, you're going to find a wonderful thing. You're going to find that the written Word honors and presents the living Word. And you're going to find that the living Word, Jesus, honored the written Word. And he said, not a jot nor a tittle shall fail from the law till all be fulfilled. …
