But the beast was captured along with the false prophet, who on its behalf had performed signs deceiving those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. Both the beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. … I don't have words. I saw the beast. They make war, verse 20. Then the beast was captured and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire, burning with brimstone and all God's people said, hallelujah and amen. And the rest were the sword which proceeds from the mouth of him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. How insane is that passage of scripture? The Bible's boring. Okay. Come see me afterwards. Cash me outside. How about that? Anyways, probably shouldn't have said that. What do we do with any of this? Cool. Oh, oh, what'd you do on Wednesday night? Oh, we read about how Jesus is really hardcore and way later in the future after we're dead or raptured and then we come back and seven years, then we're gonna come. …
… the flesh of those who are destroyed at this great, great battle. That is the great supper of God. Notice secondly, the judgment of the beast and the false prophet. Verse 19, and I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Christ who sat upon the horse and against his army. And the beast, the antichrist was seized and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence by which he received those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. And these two, that is, the antichrist and false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brimstone. This is the first mention of the lake of fire in the book of Revelation. It is the eternal place of torment for those who die apart from Christ. You see, right now, if you're an unbeliever and you die without receiving Jesus Christ as your savior, you go to a place the Bible calls Hades. Jesus talked about it in Luke 16. It's an awful place. It's a place of suffering, but it's a temporary place as well. Every unbeliever who has ever lived is right now in Hades awaiting his final trial at the great white throne judgment and his final sentence, which will be to be thrown into the lake of fire, to be tormented day and night forever and ever. …
… who sat on the horse and against his army. Then the beast was captured. That's awesome. The beast, the Antichrist, the whole crew is going to get swept up. And with him, the false prophet who worked signs in his presence by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire, burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword. Who's got the sword? Does that freak some of you out? Think about like, you know, the Newport Beach Jesus. This freaks people out. I like Jesus the shepherd. But are you talking about Jesus like Jesus the warrior? Jesus the king of kings and lord of lords. So listen, the sword which proceeded from the mouth of him, that's his word, who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. Capisce? Yes? Amazing. Amazing. So you may not understand a word I said tonight, but you did get more Bible prophecy than a four-year grad school student at some seminary. …
