And the rest were killed with the sword that proceeded from the mouth of the One seated on the horse. And all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh. The rest were killed with the sword of him who sat on the horse, the sword which came out of his mouth. So all the birds were filled with their flesh. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.and the rest were killed with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, even the sword which came forth out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

The Coming King
Robert Jeffress, 2026-08-25

… grace, the forgiveness of God will spend eternity there as well. And then we see this final word in verse 21 about the sword of Christ and the rest were killed with a sword, which came from the mouth of him who sat on the horse and all the birds were filled with their flesh. This is the future that awaits those who die apart from Christ Jesus. But what about the here and now? I close with this, perhaps the best known verse in the entire Bible by Christians and non-Christians alike is John 3, 16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in, trusts in, clings to him, will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send his son into the world to judge the world, but that the world through him might be saved. People misinterpret that. They say, oh, see, Pastor, Jesus isn't a judge. No, he didn't come to judge the world the first time. He didn't come into the world the first time to judge the world. He came as Savior to save the world. He didn't come the first time to judge. …

The justice of God, the punishment that you and I deserve gets redirected to Jesus Christ. Remember the hymn, for on the cross where Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied. God took all of his wrath, his settled indignation. He took all of his anger, his furious, furious feeling toward the rebellious. every bit of anger and wrath God had, he poured it out on his own son, the Lord Jesus Christ. …

The Coming Of The King – Part 3
Jack Hibbs, 2026-06-03

… burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword. Who's got the sword? Does that freak some of you out? Think about like, you know, the Newport Beach Jesus. This freaks people out. I like Jesus the shepherd. But are you talking about Jesus like Jesus the warrior? Jesus the king of kings and lord of lords. So listen, the sword which proceeded from the mouth of him, that's his word, who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. Capisce? Yes? Amazing. Amazing. So you may not understand a word I said tonight, but you did get more Bible prophecy than a four-year grad school student at some seminary. I'll tell you that. I know we flew over this fast. It's up to you to read this on your own, but I'm telling you, we study the first coming we study the second coming but we make sure we're ready for his appearing and I'm going to ask you to bow your head right now and pray and if today if tonight you've never accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior you need to do that now I'm just going to ask you in a moment to raise your hand I'll be looking around nobody else needs to look around it's a private moment but if you understand this gospel you're about to hear then respond accordingly. …
