… Adam and Eve were barred from eating from the tree of life in the Garden of Eden. Well, because of Jesus's death on the cross, we have had access restored to paradise and the tree of life. This is spoken about in the book of Revelation. Chapter two, verse seven, Jesus said, he who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise, the garden of God. So here again, Jesus refers to heaven as the paradise of God. When people think of a garden-like paradise today here on this earth, they often think of somewhere like Costa Rica or Hawaii. Jack Hibbs, 2026-05-10

… about us hearing and our dependence upon the Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 2, verse 7. The Bible says, again, Jesus is speaking. Revelation 2, verse 7. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit, that is the Holy Spirit, says to the churches. God's Spirit is speaking. Every true believer knows when God is speaking. And if you don't know, if you're not sure, God the Holy Spirit, as Jesus said, will speak the word of God. He'll speak the Bible to you. He'll speak truth. Can I be blunt? He will not speak feelings to you. The Holy Spirit will never ask you, how do you feel about this? He won't do it. Because there's too much at stake, everybody. There's an eternity that's real, and there's no do-overs once you die. The Bible's crystal clear about this. Listen, the Bible says it's appointed every human once to die, and then comes the judgment. But thank God for Jesus' words. Jesus says, if you believe in me, you will pass from judgment to life. …

Where’d You Go?
Guest speaker, 2026-04-26 · Scripture reading

… These things says he who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands. And you have persevered and have patience and have labored for my namesake and have not become weary. Remember therefore from where you have fallen. Repent and do the first works or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place unless you repent. And here in verse 7, he who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Let's pray. Father, we come this morning and God, what Jesus just said there in verse 7, I pray over us this morning. that we would have an ear to hear what you have to say to us. Lord, there's some that have come in and they're seasoned saints. Maybe they've read this passage a hundred times or more. …
