And I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel:I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. And I heard the number of them that were sealed, a hundred and forty and four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:

… from each tribe and then listing out all the tribes. Then he heard, then I heard he said, the number of those who were sealed, 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. From the tribe of Judah, there were 12,000 sealed. From the tribe of Reuben, there were 12,000 sealed. And he goes out to list out the names of the other 10 tribes and point out the 12,000 from them. Now, for those of you who are bad at math, 12 times 12,000 is 144,000, which is where we get that number. And as we've learned, the numbers in Revelation are full of symbolism. 12, as we've already seen, is the number that represents the people of God, as in the 24 elders consisted of the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 apostles, symbolizing God's people in both the Old and New Testaments. The number 1,000 symbolizes fullness and totality in Revelation. So the fact that we have 12 times 12 times 1,000 indicates that this is a full and total evangelizing body. It is very important to note that these are not the only people saved during the tribulation. I point that out because Jehovah's witnesses will try to tell you just that, that these 144,000 are the only ones who go to heaven. Have you seen them standing at the front of the RDU airport, inviting you to come and take their material? …
… paradise. We're not there to witness this. But the angel says, wait, we've got to do something with the servants of God. Who are the servants of God? Well, he tells us, then I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000 from all the, what church? Tribes of what? Israel. So the church is gone. The evangelists, the preachers, the pastors, the people, all the Christians are in the presence of God. It seems like there's only darkness on the earth, but God who always has his people, and God who made a promise to bless the world through the seed of Abraham, says, oh, no, no, I've got 144,000, and they're going to be sealed, and they're going to be from the nation of Israel. Do you not find this amazing? 144,000 that's 12 sets of 12,000 and they're going to be sealed later on we are told that they will have the very name of God tattooed on their forehead I do not know we're not told which name Jehovah Adonai but something so that everywhere they go somebody will say wait that's a servant of God. And they will be sealed. That is to say they will be insulated. They will be protected. They will be mighty in the presence of God. Folks, this is 144,000 Jewish evangelists that will go out in the darkness of the tribulation and they will declare the name of Jesus. …
… sealed the slaves of our God on their foreheads. And I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel. From the tribe of Judah, 12,000 were sealed. From the tribe of Reuben, 12,000. from the tribe of Gad, 12,000, from the tribe of Asher, 12,000, from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000, from the tribe of Manasseh, 12,000, from the tribe of Simeon, 12,000, from the tribe of Levi, 12,000, from the tribe of Issachar, 12,000, from the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph, 12,000, from the tribe of Benjamin, 12,000, were sealed. At this point in the book of Revelation, chapter 7 answers a question that comes at the end of chapter 6. Go back for a minute to chapter 6 and notice the question at the end of the chapter in verse 17, who is able to stand? Who is able to stand? Why is that question asked? Because starting in chapter 6, verse 1, we have a picture of the future time of tribulation when God releases His global judgments. …
