5:56 We're going to Romans chapter 8, where we were Sunday. and you don't have to remain standing. You can sit down. Father, bless your word tonight while it is being expounded upon. Let it materialize in our hearts and our spirit and our character. Transform us into the image of your dear son. Have your way in this place tonight in a supernatural way. We don't want it to be a natural way. We want it to be a supernatural way. Put your super on my natural. Yes, Lord. increase us tonight as we expound the word of God. In Jesus' name, amen. You may be seated in the presence of the Lord. We are in the book of Romans, which is suspected to be written by the Apostle Paul. He is sent to the Romans. He is a citizen of Rome.

6:48 He has a background of Roman history, and yet he is of Israeli ethnicity and background and he has come to the Romans to minister to them. Now, Rome is a massive metropolitan city. It's got all kinds of people. It's not like your hood. It's got all kinds of people. It's got people speaking different languages coming from different parts of the world. It's got business people there. It's got spiritual people there. It's got carnal people there. It's got lust going on over there. It's got sexual sin and deviation going on over there. It's got prayer and worship going on over there. There's all kinds of things going on in Rome. Rome is a metropolitan city like New York, like Paris, like London. It's a huge city.

7:42 It's an empire. It's an empire that has various ventricles that go out into different parts of the world. It is the superpower of his time. And God has sent him to Rome to minister. Now, Rome is mostly heathenistic, idolatrous, full of vain vanity and all sorts of debauchery. And the church is just being birthed in Rome. It's not popular to be a Christian. You don't come to church because it's popular. You don't come to church because it's the thing to do. No, in Rome, you come to church that you might begin to be on the first floor of a massive empire that God is going to build. and continues to build in Rome. He continues to build on that foundation that was laid by the apostles in Rome. And it was Paul's job to break up that hard ground, that solid place, that stubborn place, that confused place.

8:43 Much learning had made them mad. So many doctrines had mixed themselves together until they had diluted and polluted the gospel. And yet Paul comes to give them a clear word and a better understanding of the Word of God and what it can do and what it can be. He starts out the chapter in verse 1 saying, There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk no longer after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Now, they have been walking after the flesh all of their lives. He said, But if you just walk after the Spirit, you don't have to catch it, but if you walk after it, If you get behind it and chase it and pursue the Spirit, there is therefore now no condemnation. I don't care what you did, you won't be condemned. I don't care if you were caught in the act of adultery and they're getting ready to stone you, you won't be condemned. I don't care if you stole a loaf of bread from the bakery, God said you won't be condemned.

9:43 There is therefore now no condemnation or no judgment to them that are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh. You're not seeking the flesh. You don't wake up in the morning talking about who you're going to get with. You're not trying to inbox everybody in the middle of the night. You wake up in the morning seeking Jesus. Early in the morning will I seek your face. You praise him in your car. You talk to him in your living room. And God said, if you just chase me, I'll take away condemnation out of your life. That's what God loved about David. David was after his heart. not a pattern of his heart. He was chasing his heart. He was in pursuit of his heart. He was waking up singing songs to God, writing poetry to God. What you call the book of Psalms was a collection of memoirs unto God that he gave to God out there by himself, by his lonely self.

10:40 That's what you ought to do with time by yourself. You say you're tired of being alone? You ought to get in there and start singing to God. You ought to start writing poetry to God because if you chase God, he'll chase you back. If you pursue God, he'll pursue you back. He said, I found me a man that is after my heart. He's chasing me. He's wooing me. He's flirting with me. He's trying to date me. He's trying to get my attention. He is after my heart. He's calling on me in the morning. He's calling on me in the night. He is after my heart. I'm wondering if there's anybody in here tonight that is after the heart of God. There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. Look at their position, not their condition. Not their condition. The condition might be they're hungry.

11:33 They might be homeless. They might be destitute. They might be rich. They might be an intellectual. They might speak in a multiplicity of languages like the Apostle Paul did, or they may speak only in a broken language and barely be able to write. But if they are in Christ Jesus, there is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. Do you know that you are in Christ Jesus? You are in Christ Jesus. If you don't know that, then the devil can do whatever he wants to do. If you don't know that your life is hid in Christ with God, then the enemy can come in at will and say whatever he wants to say to you because you don't know your position. We haven't taught enough about the position of the believer. The position of the believer is made to sit in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.

12:27 In him I live. In him I move. In him I have my being. Hallelujah. Glory to God. I am in him. That means, devil, if you're going to get to me, you got to go through him because I am in him. I am in him right now. If I'm broke, I'm in him. If I'm happy, I'm in him. If I'm depressed, I'm in him. If you hate me, I'm in him. If you're talking about me, I'm in him. There is nothing you can say about me that drives my position away from God. You can't talk God out of taking me in because I've been baptized into the body by the Holy Spirit. And even though you try to hoodoo me and hex me and get a piece of my beard, you can't do me no harm because I'm in Christ Jesus. And your roots and your magic won't work because I live in Him. I move in Him. And I have my being in Christ Jesus. Y'all didn't hear what I said, I have my being in Christ Jesus.

13:35 I be in Christ. Because I'm in Christ, I can be. In Him, I have my being. You can't take my being away from me. No matter how much you pray against me, no matter how much you try to curse me, I still got my being because I have my being because I know my position in Christ Jesus. We spend too much time worried about our condition and not enough worried about our position. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, it's a law now, it's a law. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus had made me free from the law of sin and death. It's a law that if I'm in Christ. for what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh. God sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh.

14:31 Look at that. God sent his son in the likeness of sinful flesh. You don't see that. There's a switch there because when God made his first son, Adam, he made his first son, Adam, in the likeness of God. When he sends Jesus, he sends Jesus in the likeness of flesh, of sinful flesh. Just like Adam was created in the likeness of God, Jesus is created in the likeness of sin. So that when he was on the cross, God didn't see Jesus, he saw sin. He said, Eli, Eli, lama sabbathini, why have you forsaken me? Because he was there in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. He did what you couldn't do, what you don't have enough willpower to do, what you don't have enough fight to do. And for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us.

15:35 Oh God, I'm happy right now. The righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us. It's finished. It's settled. It's over. It's done. It's fulfilled in us. not because of any good thing I did, not because of the day I worship on, not because I don't eat pork, not because I don't mix wool with cotton. It's all because of what he did, not what I did, that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in a field full. I am filled full with righteousness because of him who walked not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. I'm attracted to the Spirit. I'm drawn to the spirit Like a magnet to metal It pulls at me It yanks at me It tucks at me If you anoint it I like you If you anoint it I gotta like you I don't even have to know you to like you If you start singing and you anoint it I just like you If you start preaching and you anoint it I just like you Because I'm after the spirit I'm drawn to your spirit I'm not after you I'm after the thing inside of you.

16:44 I'm drawn to it. I'm attracted to it. You might not be beautiful. That don't have nothing to do with it. He beautifies the meek with salvation. And anytime you are saved, you are beautiful. Look at somebody and say, I'm beautiful. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh. But they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. That's just how it is. If you are of the Spirit, you are after the Spirit. If you are of the flesh, you do mind the things of the flesh. You talk about the flesh. You look at the flesh. You imagine the flesh. You fantasize the flesh. You want the flesh. You're attracted to the flesh. But if you are in the Spirit, you are drawn to the Spirit. You are drawn to the Spirit. You might be scrolling through your phone, and you get to one scroll and they're singing a song and it's so anointed that you get happy and you stop there and start playing it over and over and over again.

17:47 It gets on the kid's nerve because you're playing it over and over again. They don't understand why you're doing it, but you are after the Spirit of God. I want him in my house. I want him in my car. I want him in my living room. I want him in my kitchen while I'm cutting up onions, while I'm peeling potatoes, while I'm cutting up grapes. I want him everywhere. I'm trapped into it I want him in my life anybody here tonight because you're after the spirit For to be carnally minded, the word carnal means to be meaty minded.

18:23 Carnivorous, carnality, carnivorous. The root word is meat. For to be carnally minded, to be meaty minded is death. So the enemy wants you to be meaty minded because it will always lead to death. but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. So if you are carnally minded and you switch and start being spiritually minded as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he, you automatically get life and peace. You don't have to fake peace. You don't have to chant for peace. You don't have to cry for peace. You don't have to yell for peace. If you get spiritually minded, peace will just come over your soul. If you start talking to yourself in spiritual words and make a melody in your heart to God, peace will come over your soul.

19:19 If you're nervous, nature, and you start worshiping God, peace will come over your soul. You don't hear what I'm saying to you. You would rather spend $300 talking to a therapist than listen at this word, and I can save you $300 right now tonight if you would just get your mind centered on Christ and away from all that crazy stuff. you can speak to your mother-in-law. You can be nice to your father-in-law. You can handle a licking and keep on ticking because you are after the things of the Spirit. Because the carnal mind is an enmity against God. To be meaty-minded is an enmity or at war against God. For it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. There is no way you can have a meaty mind and be subject to the law of God.

20:12 So then, they that are in the flesh cannot please God. They can sing. They can sing, but they can't please God. They can preach, but they can't please God. They can tithe, but they can't please God. They can go to church, but they can't please God. They can buck and dance, but they can't please God. when you're after the flesh, you can't please God. But ye, ye, ye, you are not in the flesh. You're not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. If so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you, if he hangs around you, if he just lay up next to you, if he just holds you in the middle of the night, if he just comforts you in the store. Somebody might be listening at me in the hospital. You're not in the hospital bed by yourself.

21:05 Jesus is all around you. Oh, he's all around you. You are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, and so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. If you don't have the Spirit of Christ, you are none of his. If you don't have the insignia of Christ, you know what I mean by insignia, like a family crest or a family sign. if you don't have the insignia of Christ, which is the Holy Spirit, you are none of His. You are sealed to the day of redemption. That means God put His mark on you. God put His mark on you. He's not going to be confused about where you are because you got the family sealed. You are sealed to the day of redemption. You are sealed.

21:57 My mother used to make jelly, and she would put a wax seal on it, and it would last for years and years and years. That's why he keeps you. You are sealed to the day of redemption. Hallelujah. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead, shall also quicken or make alive your mortal body. You don't have to worry about it. You don't have to try to do it. You don't have to try to get up. The Spirit is going to quicken your mortal body. By his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Oh my God, isn't that something? You don't have to put on at all. It is there for you. Keep going. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors not to the flesh to live after the flesh.

22:54 I don't owe the flesh nothing. I'm not saying I always do right, but when I do wrong, it's not because I owe a bill. I don't owe the flesh nothing. I'm not in debt to sin. I'm not in debt to Satan. He can't have me because I don't owe him nothing. I don't owe him anything. Glory to God, I can be free. I don't owe cancer anything. I don't owe leukemia anything. I don't owe diabetes anything. I might have to deal with it, but it doesn't own me. It hasn't purchased me. I have been bought with the price and the precious blood of Jesus. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die. But if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. If you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, that means you got to kill it. You got to be a murderer.

23:51 You got to kill yourself. You got to kill your mouth. You got to kill what you wanted to say. You wanted to kill. The other night, I was pacing the floor. I wanted to cause somebody so bad. I was pacing the floor. I was itching because I'm the kind of person that if I got something to say, I'm going to say it to you. And I was pacing the floor, and I had to mortify my flesh. I had to kill it. I had to take it and stab it. I had to wound it and let it bleed out on the floor to keep me from dying. I had to mortify the flesh. You cannot, if you resist the enemy, he will flee from you. If you just resist, if you pull back, if you fight against it. I almost texted somebody and said, pray for me because I don't want to make this phone call because I'll say the wrong thing. Because I could feel the flesh pulling at me. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

24:47 If you're led by the Spirit of God, you are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear. You have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear. You didn't come over here to be a Christian and be put back under the law. But you have received the spirit of adoption.

25:11 Glory to God. Adopted children have something over born children. Born children, you just had them because you're pregnant. Adopted children, you chose them. You picked them out. They never have to wonder are they wanted Because you had an option Not to adopt them You chose to adopt them So because of Christ You have the spirit of adoption You who were not a people Have been made a people You have been grafted into the family You have become a part Of the commonwealth of Israel According to Ephesians chapter 2 You don't have to worry about The commonwealth of Israel You don't have to worry about the Jews being the chosen people because you have been adopted. You have been adopted into that same opportunity to receive all that God has for you. He wanted you.

26:05 You don't have to worry how you accepted. He picked you out. You are chosen in the beloved. You are picked out in the beloved. He brought you some of you. You're the only one in your family, but he adopted you, and you're different from everybody else. So don't worry about trying to fit in. Don't worry about trying to get everybody like you. Don't worry about them rolling their eyes at you. Take your potato salad and go back home because you are in him. You have been adopted into the royal family of Jesus Christ. If I'm an outcast to everybody else, I still belong to God. If all the church folk turn against me, I still belong to God. If it becomes unpopular to like me, I still belong to God. Y'all don't hear, I'm adopted. He picked me out. He looked through the window and said, I want that one right there. He picked me out before I was formed in my mama's belly.

26:59 He chose me in him. He made me a prophet before he made my mouth, before he made my lips, before he made my eyes, before he made me to move or think. He had already made me a prophet unto the nation, and I belong to God. Even when I don't want to, even when I want to turn in the deal, even when I don't want to be kept, I still belong to God. No matter how far I get away from Him, I end up running back to Him because I'm attracted to Him, and I can't break the attraction. I can feel Him pulling at me. His spirit strives with me. It yanks at me. Every time I fall into sin, it yanks till it pulls me out. It pulls me out because I belong to Him. Is there anybody else adopted in here? The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.

27:55 And wait, wait, stay right there. I got to stay there for a minute. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. That's so good. This is important because it's going to be where I'm going tonight. The Spirit of God talks to the spirit of man. You are a spirit. You have a soul. You live in a body. So the Spirit of God beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. You don't have to run around asking the prophet, am I saved? because the Spirit of God talks to your spirit and tells you you are saved. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are, in fact, the children of God.

28:50 We might not look like Him. We might not have ways like Him. We may not bear all the fruit of the Spirit, but the Spirit itself is saying, don't worry about that. I'm going to fix that in time. You are the children of God. If I sat down right now, I've already preached. I've already taught. I've already said enough. If you didn't get anything but that right there, it's going to take you eight years to live out what I already said. And you're sitting up there waiting on some more. And I've already given you more than you can handle right now. If you just get that in your head. If you ever get to the place that the Spirit of God is having a conversation with your spirit, it'll change your attitude. It'll break down your will. It'll melt your candle like wax. It'll make you say yes when you wanted to say no. It'll make you say I'm sorry when you wanted to go off. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.

29:50 Somebody shout, I'm a child of the King. If you're watching online, write it on the line, I'm a child of the King. Write it till the devil knows it. I'm a child of the King. How do you know it? because the Spirit told me so. The Spirit talked to my spirit and told me I was a child of God. I need no other witness. The trial is over. The case is closed. There is therefore now no condemnation. I have called my last witness. The prosecution rests. The prosecution rests. The trial is over. I've called my last witness. The case is over. It's ended. Throw it out of court, judge, because the Spirit itself has bore witness that I am a child of God. We don't need the jury. We don't need the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker.

30:43 I brought such a strong witness to the witness stand that I am a child of the King. Y'all don't hear me, but I'm talking some stuff tonight. I'm talking some powerful stuff. I'm a child of the King. I'm a child of the King. I can walk through witches and they can't do me no harm. I can walk through hell and always come out. I can go through depression and rise up above it because I am a child of God. I might not feel good, but I am still a child of God. I might not feel like I'm Ernest Jake's son, but I am still Ernest Jake's son whether I feel like it or not. My father is dead, but I'm still his son. He cannot unsun me. If I died, he could not unsun me. Once you make a son, you can't not break him and make him not a son. I will forever be a son of God.

31:39 Oh, talk to me, somebody. Them kids might make you want to unsun them, unfellowshift them, but you can't do it because once you have procreated, they're going to always be yours. If they drunk, they're going to be yours. If they lying, they're going to be yours. If they're a whoremonger, they're going to be yours. You cannot unson what God has sonned. In the hog pen, he was his father's son. On the way home, he was his father's son. When he got back to the house, he was his father's son. He was always his son. If I, God forbid, but if I lose a child, then it will always be my son. In the grave, it'll be my son. Life, nor death, nor principalities, nor power, nor things present, nor things to come, or any other living creature can separate me from the love of God. I am His Son.

32:32 You can run, but you can't get away. You can get high, but you can't get away. You can fornicate, but you can't get away. You can get on the pole and dance, but you can't get away. Because the moment the Spirit starts talking to you, you know His voice. He said, my sheep know my voice, and a stranger they will not follow. I am a child of the king. I wish we'd sing the old songs just sometimes. Just sing them every now and then. Like I am a child of the king. We used to sing those kinds of songs that reminded you who you were. Even when you were sick, it boasted about who you were. I must tell Jesus. I must tell Jesus. I cannot bear these burdens alone. In my distress, I know he will hear me I cannot tell it, I cannot deal with it I cannot stand it, I cannot handle it without Jesus Are you with me? Clap your hands if you're with me Now wait, if you ate that much, if you ate that much, and we are now settled that you are the children of God, then he progresses and says, and if children, then heirs.

33:50 Oh. Oh, my God. See, you was getting happy because you was a child. You were getting happy without benefits. You were getting happy without an inheritance. You were getting happy without a will. But the Bible said, if you are children, if you can eat that much, then let me feed you some more. Open your mouth, get another bite. Now you're an heir of God. You're an heir of his nature. You're an heir of his grace. You're an heir of the king. You don't have to try to be rich. You're already rich. Hallelujah. It may not manifest yet, but it's got to come because you're a child of the king. And since you're a child, you're an heir of God. God has an inheritance for you. God has an inheritance for you. Do you hear me?

34:41 God has an inheritance for you. Eyes have not seen. Ears have not heard. Neither have entered into the heart of man the things that God has in store for them that love it. My kids have an inheritance that they have not seen. They didn't go to court with us. They didn't go to the lawyer's office with us. They didn't have to sign for it, but I've already left them an inheritance. They didn't deserve it. They don't have to earn it. They don't have to work for it. They got it because they're my child. If you are a child, then you are an heir. You're an heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of his spirit, washed in his blood. This is my story. Oh, you're going to hear me. this is my song praising my Savior all the day long so you got to get that if you've got the sonship now you get the airship wait a minute and heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ that means whatever Christ got I got it too If Christ went to heaven, I'm going to heaven too.

35:48 I'm joint heirs. We're tied together. We're Siamese twins. We're joined together at the hip. Wherever he goes, I go with him. If there's no poverty in him, there cannot be no poverty in me. If there's no schizophrenia in him, there's no schizophrenia in me. If there's no pain in him, there has to be no pain in me. I am joint heirs with Jesus Christ. All I got to do is receive it. Receive it. Receive it. Receive it. It's there. It's in the Spirit. It's not in your murmuring. It's not in your complaining. It's not in your fussing. It's not in Netflix. It's not in HBO. It's not in ABC, NBC, or CBS. Sometimes you got to cut off all them alphabets and lay on your face before God and remind yourself that you are joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Oh, my God.

36:43 I feel something. I feel something about to take over this place. If so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Now, that's the first time he used the word suffer. Go back to that. That's the first time he used the word suffer. Go back to the 17th. And if Christ is the heirs of God, joint heirs of Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. See, if you're a joint heir with Christ, Christ was beaten. Christ was whipped. Christ was nailed to a cross. Christ was stripped of his clothes. Christ was buried in a tomb. Christ went through something. and every now and then you're going to go through something. It's not popular to teach that anymore because people just want magic numbers and magic blessings.

37:43 They want quick prophecies. I see in the spirit, you can just get on your phone and see prophet after prophet, AI-generated prophets telling you you're going to hit the lottery this week and I need you to just punch the heart right now and write on the line, I will win and you're going to hit the lottery tonight. You can play with them witches all you want to. All you want to. All them generated witches. There's somebody in your life that doesn't like you. It's a woman, and I'm going to give you their initials in a minute. If you hit the button right here and go to WhatsApp, the fifth person has the initial of the name, and there you are consulting the witch at the end door when you got the Holy Ghost down inside of you. I would consult him, but I'm too scared of God.

38:37 We were talking about losing the fear of God. I'm too scared of God. I don't want God to see me. If I get curious, I look up and think, no, I better not do that. I better not try that. I better not try that. You're going to receive, you'll be a millionaire by the end of the year. I said, I'm already a millionaire. I'm a millionaire. I'm a billionaire hallelujah my father is a millionaire I'm wealthy y'all can't take it come on y'all can't take it y'all can't take it y'all don't have the audacity to look the devil in the face and say I'm a millionaire that's why you ain't got no money you got to be able to say it to be able to see if you can't say it you can't see it if you can't say it you can't receive it if your mind had matured to the point that you only believe it when you see it. Then blessed are they who have not seen, but yet they believe. Slap somebody and say, you sitting by a millionaire.

39:38 that we suffer with him, that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Oh, that I may know him in the fellowship of his suffering. Because if I know him in the fellowship of his suffering, I shall also know him in the power of his resurrection. Some of you are holding out for the power of the resurrection, but how do you think you're going to be resurrected if you ain't been crucified? There's no way to resurrect somebody that ain't died. You got to be in a fellowship with his suffering that you might know him in the power of his resurrection. Sometimes God takes you through stuff just to show you he can get you out of stuff.

40:35 He took Israel through the wilderness to show them that he could be water, he could be bread, he could be food, he could be life, he could be power. He couldn't show them that as long as Pharaoh was feeding them. He had to break the grip of Pharaoh and put them in a dry place where they couldn't feed themselves so he could show off and tell them who he really is. All God is doing with you is creating a place for you to have a testimony, taking you through something so you'll come out better, not just preaching the Word, but being the Word, the Word becoming a part of your life. You suffer with Him. You'll reign with Him. When you stomp your foot, devils are going to run. When you open your mouth, hell is going to get nervous. When the Word becomes made flesh, that's what brings about salvation. You can have all the degrees.

41:29 You can have more theology than a thermometer. But if you don't have an experience with him, you will never know him in the power of his resurrection. Until you have balled up in a knot and cried like a baby. Until you have wilted of all you thought you couldn't stand and couldn't take. You will never know him in the power of his resurrection. But to those of us that have been to hell and back, there are certain things we know about God. And you can't take it away from us. We know it about God. We've been down low enough to blow our brains out. And God brought us back from the dead. And we know of a surety that God is God. I know you can't act like you know what I'm talking about. Because you're too churchy for that. But you know you're those of us that have been at the end of our rope. and felt like throwing in the towel.

42:22 And all of a sudden, God said something that sustained you. I don't have to beg you for a praise. I don't have to beg you for a hallelujah. I don't have to convince you that God is God. You've been through enough hell that you know God is God. You still got track marks in your arm. You still been through hell. Y'all don't hear what I'm saying. You were shooting dope in your toenails. You were shooting dope under your skin. You were drunk in the morning and drunk at night, and God sobered you up and set you free. You've done enough stuff that you ought to be in jail right now. You ought to be locked up in a cell right now, and there you are fussing about your car running. You ought to be so glad that you're free. You ought to be so glad that you're here. You ought to be so glad that you're alive. You ought to be ashamed of yourself, complaining about anything. Do you know where you were headed when God snaps you out of the fire?

43:18 Glory to God, I feel something in this place. Somebody take 30 seconds and start praising God. Now we're ready for my text. Sit down. Woo! My God. My God. My God. I love school, but school didn't do this. I love education, but education didn't do this. Going through hell did this. Going through fire did this. Burying loved ones did this. Dealing with pain did this. Going without food did this. Having my lights off did this.

44:11 Having my water cut off did this. If you ain't been through none of that stuff, you don't really know what I'm talking about. You can say my words, but you won't have my power because the word hadn't been proven in you. But once the word is proven in you, you know that you know that you know that you know it. I don't care how you can hoop until you have been in the fire and been tried. You're not going to have no power. You got a beautiful voice with not a bit of power. power comes through knowing him in the fellowship of his suffering and the power of his resurrection shout yes somebody shout yes somebody shout yes somebody shout yes somebody so this is where it gets good and this is where I was Sunday so we're walking out this is where I was Sunday see I had to build their case to really make 18 pop because I wanted to prove Paul says for I reckon just stop right there for I reckon. The word reckon in the original Greek language means to have come to a conclusion after deciphering and looking at life for a while.

45:35 Yeah, I reckon. The broad definition, to reckon means to think, to reason, to conclude upon careful consideration or to account something as true after weighing evidence. let's wait the evidence put it back up here again she's trying to take a picture of it put it back up there again I saw you I know what's going on uh huh yeah let her get a picture so you sound like a scholar and so I reckon I come to a conclusion let's see Paul have you been in jail many times Thank you. Paul have you been beaten almost to death Paul have you been stoned they threw rocks at me they left me laying for dead they laughed at me and laughed at my wisdom and as proud as I was of my intellect they called me a fool and all of the intellectuals of the day insulted him and I think that the pain of Lystra hurt him worse than the stones that they threw.

46:54 He said I had to go through it And look back at it And add it up Reckon is an accounting term It means to account for To add it all up He said when I got through adding it all up I reckon That the sufferings Of this present world Take me back to my scripture I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared. Now, this is reminiscent of Paul's day. They weighed everything by scales to determine worth. The heavier the scales went down, the more weight it was. So if you put certain things on it and it went up, it didn't have much weight. So he said, when I put the suffering on the scale, it went up.

47:52 when I put the glory on the scale, it fell down. So when I stand back and look at it, the greater weight is on the glory than it is on the suffering. So he said, I reckon that the sufferings of this present world, this present time, this present, oh my God, oh my God, somebody holler this present time. He said, what I'm going through right now, What I'm going through right now is not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in a... I put it on the scale. I thought about it. I weighed it out. I did some accounting. I did some figuring. Whenever you went to the market in Paul's day, there was always a scale. The scale would tell you the weight of glory. That's why the Bible says in the Greek it's doxa, the weight of glory.

48:49 Glory has weight to it. Trouble don't have no weight to it. It might have pain, but it don't have no weight to it. But when you hit it with glory, glory will make the scales tip over. Glory will make you drop down on your knees. Glory will make an old lady run. Glory gets in your feet. Glory gets in your spirit. Glory got weight to it. It's got power to it. It's got force to it. It's got fight to it. I wish I was preaching to some folks that had some glory. I came up in a storefront church where they had glory. They didn't have all these fancy pews. They didn't have no fancy windows, but they had glory. There's something about glory that when you put the glory on the scales, the suffering always comes up. If you want your suffering to come up, put glory on the scales. I guarantee you, if you're feeling bad, and some of y'all came in here feeling bad, I could tell.

49:48 But the more we praise God, the more the suffering went up and the glory came down. You need those scales operating in your life. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time, I'm not even dealing with the past. I'm dealing with the hell you're going through right now. the sufferings of this present time is not worthy to be compared to the glory. It's not just that it outweighs it. It's not even worthy to be compared. It's one thing to outweigh it. It's not even worthy to be on the scales to the glory that shall be revealed in us. If you're going to ever have any glory, you're going to have some suffering.

50:40 If you're going to ever have any power, you're going to have some suffering. If you're going to ever chase a demon out of room, you're going to have some suffering. And the glory is not worthy to be compared. It ought not even be in the same sentence. Because you have suffered for it. You won't give it up easy. You know things you get easy, you give up easy.

51:11 That's why I don't believe in giving folks a whole bunch of money because you give them a whole bunch of money, they spend it like it ain't nothing. But when it's their money and they had to work for it and they had to sweat for it and they had to labor for it, they get the calculator out. They be counting up pennies and with taxes it'll be that much. And if I don't get this one, maybe I get that one. All of a sudden everything changes. Value is added through suffering. You give your kids everything. They spend it like it ain't nothing. I don't blame them. They didn't do nothing to get it. But if you had to suffer eight hours and 10-hour shifts for weeks at a time and you finally get that check, you're not just going to throw it away just any kind of way because suffering equates with value. It makes it have more weight because you earned it. I ain't giving it to you.

52:07 I said no. Good luck to you. I'm praying for you. I'll give you a little bit, but I'm praying for you. You're going to have to get out there and get your hands dirty and earn it. You're going to have to earn it. When you have earned this glory, you don't let nobody roll their eyes at you and take it away. these are the weakest Christians I have ever seen in my life and it starts at the pulpit and it goes to the door we've had pastors meeting all the pastors talking about who left my church they left my church they walked out on me they're supposed to they're supposed to God didn't promise you you would reap where you sowed

54:49 God didn't promise to be fair. He promised to be just. There's a difference between fair and being just. And you're fussing, fussing, fussing about suffering. I got all kinds of questions about suffering because suffering is a strange word in this present time. And it's Pulpit's fault. You don't realize it, but back in the 90s, we were talking about name it and claim it. Confess it. Walk around it. Call it yours. Speak it into existence. We made it sound like all you had to do was walk around and walk around and walk around. You're going to have that house. You might have that house, but you're going to have them pavements.

55:39 Uh-huh. Uh-huh. We didn't tell you about the pavements, so you walked around a house you couldn't pay for, And then when the payments came, you couldn't stay in the house because everything has to be paid for. you have to suffer something and when you suffer something and somebody try to take it from you you will knock their head right off their shoulder you'll knock it off their shoulder because I don't have the strength to go through that again you are not gonna do that to me I ain't gonna go but so low I'm not gonna tell you right now I'm not going but so low I paid too much I cried too long I suffered too hard I ain't going but so low we'll go to court we'll go on the ground we'll get into a dog fight I'll turn a pit bull loose on you you ain't getting this I went through too much to get it is there anybody out there that paid a price for what you got you pay enough for a car you'll wax it You won't let nobody run no cart into your car and say, excuse me, excuse me, nothing.

56:51 You hit my car. Are you out of your mind? Are you crazy? Do you know what I pay in insurance for that car? Do you know what I pay for inspection for that car? Do you know what I pay for that car? Do you know what I pay every month for that car? And you let an empty buggy run into my car and scratch it all the way down the side, and you think it's funny? You better hope the Holy Ghost grabbed me because if the Holy Ghost don't grab me I'm gonna grab you because I went through some come on talk to me I went through something I went through something to get this joy that I had the world didn't give it to me and the world can't take it away Oh, you can't take it away. I'm not gonna just let you take it away I'm not just gonna go home and let you take it away No No No, I'm not gonna let you take it away. I'm not gonna let you take it away I'll trip the gun is in my mouth. I'm gonna pull it out. I'm not gonna let you take it away It's not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed enough. You have lost your shell Your shall.

58:06 Suffering is the word that means parthema in Greek. Parthema. The root word of passion is to feel, to experience, to undergo, to be effective. Now, let me tell you what suffering is today. For us, suffering is not having no money. because we're raised in a capitalist society and all of the comments are coming in about cash because we think if we got enough money, we got joy. That ain't true. The broader definition of pathema refers to anything a person experiences that brings pain. You're going to experience some things That bring pain Hardship Passion Or emotion Physical pain Emotional pain Spiritual struggle Unjust treatment It ain't going to be right It ain't going to be fair And you cannot wait on them to make it right Because then they become your God Thank you.

59:14 some things are never going to be settled and you got to be at peace with the fact that it's just not going to be settled you're just going to have to hurt so that it don't hurt anymore you're just going to have to deal with it inner distress that comes from living in a fallen world is suffering nothing bad has to happen for you to suffer. There's a deeper nuance to it to understand that pathema takes it to another level. It doesn't just mean physical affliction. It means anything that happens to you, good or bad, that you undergo rather than choose. I didn't choose this. This ain't fair. I don't deserve this. This is not right.

1:00:08 This hurts. This hurts after you leave. This hurts in the middle of the night. Have you ever noticed that pain gets worse at night? How many people know that pain gets worse at night? You can have a cold all day and it's kind of okay. You're doing pretty good. The later it gets at night, the worse it gets. Mucus comes from everywhere. Mucus flies in on planes. It comes in on helicopters. You can't breathe, think, or talk. It is thick as mashed potatoes and gravy. and there you are in a terrible shape just because it's night. Suffering. gets worse at night. There's no light. afflictions heartbreak trauma adversity gets worse at night so the smart Christian tries to drag the suffering into the glory where there's light because if you can drag the suffering into the light, it won't feel as bad because it's lit up.

1:01:30 But if you let that suffering get in that cave with you, Elijah, you will lose your calling and have to anoint somebody else because you won't be able to continue just because you are experiencing Jezebel's threat in a cave. My God, I think I'll buy this tape myself. I need it on repeat at night and somebody in this room has had a long night. you had a long night.

1:02:09 And it is the sufferings of this present time. It's not the sufferings of when you was eight. That's not the only thing. You made it past eight. You made it to 38. But the sufferings of this present time. the depth of it the intensity of it how much it costs you to keep going can we talk for a minute I'm going to come down here where I can look in your face I want to talk to you for a minute I want to come down here talk to you for a minute can we talk about the things that you press over that you smile over that you hide, that you deal with, not that you're trying to hide it because you're sneaky.

1:03:05 It's just that they can't do nothing about it, no way, and it ain't none of their business. And so your suffering is private. Your suffering is personal. Your suffering is intense, and your suffering is lonely. And when your suffering gets lonely, you want company. Can we be real? When your suffering gets lonely, you want company because you're wanting comfort. Must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free? There's not a person in this room that hadn't had night pain. night pain in the morning you get up dress up and wash up put your deodorant on brush your teeth do your hair and put your cologne on where your makeup if you're a woman you come on out looking good that makeup is hiding suffering in this present time there will be suffering and you want comfort sure we want comfort of course we want comfort I don't know about you but I want comfort I want comfort I don't buy a chair that's not comfortable I buy a chair I can fall asleep in I want it to be comfortable But life is not promised to be comfortable So Paul's theology has suffering in it Because it is part of the oil of the apothecary Write that down It is part of the oil of the apothecary A-P-O-T-H-E-C-A-R-Y Apothecary It is part of the oil of the apothecary That is to say, this oil is made from roots that has been in dark places underground.

1:05:14 You can't have the kind of aromatic anointing. The kind of anointing that changes the atmosphere in a room. Let me tell you, the woman with the alabaster box, that anointing that got loose in that room could be smelt over the whole room. All the disciples knew that she had broken her box. Because this kind of anointing comes from deep stuff. Buried stuff Roots are things that grow in the dark Hallelujah You want a double portion of my spirit? Go through my hell Go through my hell Go through my hell You're not going to get it just by me laying hands on you Until you go through my hell Until you press your way over everything that you can imagine I won't even start listing That anointing costs you something And it's thick And the aroma of it is so strong That you can spill it over there And smell it over there It's not like the olive oil we buy in the store That don't even have no smell to it The oil that they used in the Bible days Was the oil of the apothecary And it was made from the roots Because the roots grew in the dark Real anointing grows in the dark Notice I said grows You're not going to get this quick This is not going to be instant grits This is not something that God's going to give you to make your ministry great So you can be famous and get lots of dates No This is something that God's going to give you

1:07:22 After you have suffered a while to weed out all of the pretenders. is how God strains his oil with time.

1:07:44 If you can endure hardness as a good soldier, if you can go when you don't want to go, if you can stand when you want to quit, if you can keep moving forward when all hell is breaking loose, if you can withstand the wildest of the devil, if you can walk in rooms where everybody's talking about you and take a seat and sit down and eat your dinner right in front of them and smile and belch and pay the bill and walk out. That kind of anointing comes from that. that kind of anointing begs for companionship Jesus cried on the cross, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabbatani, my God, my God, why has thou forsaken me?

1:08:35 His mama couldn't reach him. The woman at the well couldn't reach him. His disciples were nowhere to be seen. Because when God gets ready to produce this kind of oil. You can go through it alone. I don't know why the Lord's got me going down this line Roots grow in the ground Where there is no light And you can't see your way out You can't see your way out You're watching online You can't see your way out It's dark Everything's wrong Before you can fix this, that goes wrong Before you can fix that, this goes wrong This one gets sick This one dies This one walks out and leaves you Got more bills than you got money Back just went out Trouble's coming from every direction Kids got pregnant Trouble is everywhere This kind of anointing grows in the dark you pick up your phone to call somebody and then you ask yourself why How many people have ever asked yourself why?

1:10:01 I have had to put my phone down and say, that ain't gonna make no difference. it ain't going to make no difference. It's not that people don't like you, they don't love you, but at the end of the day, you got to bear this cross by yourself. Roots grow in the dark, and they are strained by time after you have suffered a while. In due season, if you faint not y'all not listening at the word if you don't faint, if you don't give up in the day of your adversity if you keep on going whether you feel like keeping on going or not if you stand the test of time God said I'll do things in you that'll leave people with their mouth hanging open if you stand the test of time God said I'm not just looking at your suffering I'm watching my watch I'm watching the see can you praise me with a broken heart can you preach when there is no crowd there if all y'all get up walk out of this room it will not stop my flow I can flow by myself I was trained by myself I don't have to have an amen or a hallelujah or a thank you Jesus.

1:11:30 I grew up preaching in empty churches. I know how to preach with no organ. I know how to slap my leg and keep on preaching and keep on getting up. I know how to do it by myself because he trained me in dark places. He trained you with no husband. He trained you when your check got swallowed up by your rent. He trained you when you couldn't have simple things He trained you at a time in your life That people are talking about stuff That you don't even know what they're talking about Because you can't afford it Come on somebody And God says if you be faithful If you be faithful I will give you the crown of life I will give you the crown of life.

1:12:30 So you have to suffer. And if you are not willing to go through that kind of suffering, then you can't receive that kind of glory. Paul says, when he puts it all together, he says, after reasoning carefully, I have concluded with conviction that all painful experiences, hardships, and trials of this temporary life are insignificant when measured against the incomparable splendor and divine glory that will one day be unveiled in us. I'm living to live again. So when you start talking about reframing it, this is a mind thing.

1:13:39 Reckon is about thinking. It's about reasoning It's about calculation It's about coming to conclusion It's about what you value What do you value? What do you value? What do you value? Is it worth it to you? To have his favor and his presence Or do you want something quick? Take me back to the 18th birthday. I'm lost out. for I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Give me the next verse.

1:14:35 19. Did I give you 19? Yeah. For the earnest expectation. That's hope right there. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. The whole earth is waiting for you to come through this. When you come through this and you manifest yourself After you suffered a while After you've been strained After you've been scraped After you've been purified After you've been through the fire Everything in your life is going to change Everything in your life is going to change The whole creation is waiting on the manifestation Of what God is doing in you This is bigger than you This is not about you This is about all the people you're going to touch And all the worlds that are going to be changed And all the people that are going to be strengthened That's why it's not worthy to be compared To how you feel And you are living in a world Where all they talk about Is how they feel about it God doesn't care How you feel about it He doesn't care how you feel about Him.

1:15:57 When He gives her, I can see myself now trying to tell Mama, I don't feel like going through the nose whooping. that wouldn't work during my day night today that stuff works they come in your children come in and talk about their feelings you hurt my feelings and you disrespected my privacy and you came in my room and I don't like it when you talk to me like that and I just feel some kind of way we didn't even have that word I feel some kind of way that wasn't in our vocabulary mama would have knocked all the teeth out of my mouth. I'd have been running around with gums in my head talking about I feel some kind of way. Mama said, I don't care how you feel. I don't care how you feel. I knocked the taste out of your mouth. If you don't get up them steps,

1:18:50 See, we are so used to living in our feelings and, I'm going to make you mad now, manipulating people. with our feelings. Because you know if you start crying, he's going to take you where you want to go. You know if you start crying, you're going to get that extra $100 deal. You know if you start crying, they're going to jerk you out of that class and move you around. And all they're doing is making spoiled children. And they don't teach you to endure anything. You have to endure some things. And when you endure some things, they begin to happen. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be realer than us.

1:19:49 Give me 19. Come on, give me 19. For the earnest expectation of the creature waited for the manifestation of the Son of God. Keep going. For the creature was made subject to vanity. He was made subject to go through emptiness He was made subject God put you in a place that hurt Not willingly But by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope He put you in it in the hopes that he could make something out of you can I go deeper well I feel like I'm opening up something I feel like I'm opening up something that God wants to open it up and air it out and get that bacteria and that infection out that infection that's been down in you that anger that guilt that frustration that pain that emptiness has got to come out and I got a squeeze on it like it's a pimple until it bursts and when it person in this room, that yoke is going to break. That door is going to open. That blessing is going to flow. Hallelujah. I know it hurts because I'm putting pressure on a place that's uncomfortable for you, but I got to get that poison out. I can't leave you with that infection growing on your arm and growing on your hand and growing on your back. No, we got to press it. You got to press it. Paul said, I was pressed above measure and beyond strength so much so that I despaired of life itself because let me go on verse 21 because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God for we know that the whole creation groaneth there's that word again groaneth and prevaileth in pain together, together, together together, you ain't the only one You think you're the only one?

1:21:50 If you get up and start talking your deepest, darkest secret Your deepest pain, your deepest heartache Your deepest disappointment, your deepest shame Somebody in this room is going to connect with you Because we are going through this together Together Fellowship of his suffering Fellowship of his suffering For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but we ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves. That's the difference between church folks and the world.

1:22:34 We groan within ourselves. We don't want nobody to see it. we groan within ourselves. We hope for a word that will ease our pain and then when it comes we act like it's not talking to us. we groan within ourselves which have the first fruits of the spirit we have the first fruits of the spirit that don't stop the groaning so you got on one hand you got the first fruits of the spirit but on the other hand you got the groaning at the same time at the same y'all don't hear me y'all don't hear me Lord, help them to hear me. You have both of them at the same time. it's the best of times and the worst of times you're happy but you're sad you're glad but you're disappointed you can see the blessing of the Lord but you can see where all hell is breaking loose over here in the same life at the same time anybody hear the words that are coming out of my mouth but ourselves also which have the first fruits of the spirit even we ourselves groan within ourselves now the groaning within I ain't got time to get into it I'm running out of time the groaning within the secret groaning within comes with experience because people will teach you that groaning out don't help So what they do is they drive the pain in.

1:24:31 and you grow within ourselves, waiting for the adoption to it, the redemption of our body. Come on, give me a second. For we are saved by hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For what a man seeth, Why does he yet hope for it? Come on. But if we hope for that, we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. See, this is how he purges you. This is how he fixes you. In the waiting for what you hope for, he purges the desires of your heart. he changes what you need he changes what you desire he changes what you value and he didn't answer you when you threw your temper tantrum because God is not excited about how you feel I feel some kind of way likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know not what we should pray for as we are.

1:25:51 I'm scared to ask him for stuff because I have asked him for stuff that almost killed me. How many people can admit it? I have asked him for stuff that wrecked my life, that broke my heart, that drove me crazy, that had me up at three o'clock in the morning and I brought it on myself. we know not what to pray for as we are. The beginning, one of the first principles of wisdom is to figure out that you don't know as much as you think you do. My God, this is good Bible class. This is good. The moment you stop worshiping your opinion and your decision, you open up to have a God in your life.

1:26:46 But as long as you worship what you have in mind, that becomes an idol to you. and he's going to tear down every idol. He's going to cast out every foe. He's going to wash you till you're whiter than snow. Do you hear what I'm saying? He's going to tear it down. He's going to show you over and over and over again that you keep making bad choices. You are bringing this on yourself. the spirit help with our infirmities for we know not what we should pray for as we are but the spirit but the spirit itself maketh intercession for us here's that word again with groanings this text has got groanings in it over and over again the whole earth is groaning we are groaning within ourselves now the spirit is groaning.

1:27:49 And it takes a groan to stop a groan. So the Spirit comes. Now you're going to get some help. Now you're going to get some comfort. When the Spirit comes, now you're going to get some comfort because the Spirit is going to come in there and groan with you. See, we don't have church like we used to, but we used to have the mourners bench. We'd have groaning. We'd come in and labor in the Spirit. We wasn't so quick to want to leave. We were grown in the Spirit because some things only come out by prayer and fasting. Some things take time. Some things take struggle, and the Spirit has to groan with your spirit, and now you've got fellowship in your suffering because you're not suffering alone, and you're not in isolation. The Holy Ghost, do you not know that the Lord will get in the fire with you? He will get in the fire with you.

1:28:43 He will call you out of the cave. Even in the midst of all that stinky stuff, He groans with you. Because he knows you don't know what to pray for So he says let me take over This is why you need the spirit Because the spirit is going to groan with you He got a groan for a groan for a groan That's harmony.

1:29:15 That's harmony. Give me a D, a E flat, y'all, anybody on the keyboard? Give me a D, give me a E, E flat, and a F, and hit them all at the same time. That's what it sounds like inside. Hit it again. That's a Desonant sound It's half steps in one hole Mixed together Halves and holes Mixed together Produce groaning Groaning is not pleasant Groaning is not beautiful Groaning is not melodious Hit it again Groaning is a disconnect Some of your spirit If I would write a score with what's going on inside of your spirit, it would sound like...

1:30:06 because the spirit is groaning in your spirit and your world is groaning because of your groaning and it's all groaning together trying to bring you to an expected end. Likewise, the spirit help us our infirmity for we know not what we should pray for as we are, but the spirit itself maketh an intercession for us with groanings which cannot be language uttered really means language. I cannot verbalize. I do not have the emotional intelligence to talk about this. This is pain. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is in the mind of the spirit because he maketh intercession for us according to the will of God.

1:31:06 and we know Hit it again. that even though it doesn't sound good, even though it gets on my nerves, even though it wakes me up at 3 o'clock in the morning, even though it wakes me up again at 5, even though I drive to work half asleep, we still know that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord, who are the called according to his purpose. It's going to work together. He's not wrong. He played exactly what I scored. We know it's going to work together for good. Hit it again.

1:31:57 You might be at this present time hearing this on your insides, smiling on the outside, but inside, You go home and get by yourself And at night it's this It is like that because the spirit Is matching your spirit Groan for groan I wish I had time Deep calling on the deep That's what Job said Deep calling on the deep As the noise of thy water spout See this is what spiritual people have This is the intercession of the Holy Spirit It's a groaning He matches your groaning He meets you in the groaning. He meets you in the pain. He meets you in the suffering. He meets you in your confusion. He meets you in your frustration. He meets you in your disappointment. You had an expectation.

1:32:50 He meets you in your disappointment because disappointment is made from expectation. Disappointment is made from expectation You can't be disappointed if you don't expect If you want to stop disappointment, stop expectation.

1:33:18 Let me hear it again. And the Holy Spirit gets down in there. And he says, I'm going to make that sound that gets on your nerves work together for your good. According to the will of God. Clap your hands. I'm going to stop. How many people got some help tonight? Let me tell you why I'm teaching this way. We are in the midst in this present time of a lot of groaning.

1:34:15 Our whole world is groaning. Our whole country is groaning. Many of our houses are groaning. And then we groan within ourselves. for so many reasons. And it's our job to try to lead you through the groaning while we also groan.

1:34:42 If the Spirit groans, you got to let me groan. You can't hold me in such high esteem that I can't groan. If the Holy Spirit is groaning, please let me groan. Please, excuse me. Yes, the bishop can groan. The Holy Spirit can groan The Bishop can groan It's okay for me to groan And yet I have to Help you through the groaning process Because you are in labor You're travailing in pain. When I was preaching this Sunday morning, I saw a woman in stirrups. Like they put you in when you're about to have a baby and you're about to give birth. Ain't no girl cute when she's pushing that baby out.

1:35:30 There ain't no cute way to push that baby out. what God is trying to get out of you, it ain't no cute way to get there, but when you get there, the whole world is waiting, not on the coming of the Lord, but the manifestation of the sons of God.

1:35:55 The whole world is waiting on you to stop doing the same things over and over and over and over and over again and listening at your own counsel. Now we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way. But one way or the other, God is going to win this fight. Close your eyes. You know in your heart that the Lord is talking to you. You know he is. You know he has heard your deepest groan.

1:36:56 and on Wednesday night in a Bible class he chooses the strangest time to deal with the deepest things some of you have been groaning most of your life But tonight's your night. for you to get your hope back, for you to get your help back, and for you to at least understand that God is getting you ready for glory. If he is speaking to you Could you for once let go of your image And open up your heart And let him come in Sweet Holy Spirit.

1:38:05 Do something in us. Do something for us. do something with us. We cannot continue on the path we're on. We arrest every demonic plot and plan. that has come to make us miserable and incomplete. We say yes to your will. We surrender. We surrender all. In Jesus' name.

1:38:56 Amen. Give Him the best praise you got. Come on. Come on. Online, everywhere. Give us the best praise you got. Don't stop the stream. Keep the stream going. Keep the stream going. Keep the praise going. Keep the anointing going. Keep the glory coming. Keep the groaning going.

1:39:37 Now we know you're the sons of God. Now we know you're the sons of God. Hallelujah. for as many as are led by the Spirit, they shall be called the sons of God. Right where you stand, right where you are watching, wherever you are in the world. I want you. to worship him even in your giving and in a seed and this is what I want you to sow for you kept me When I was losing my mind.

1:40:33 You kept me. When I was ready to die. You kept me when I had nobody to talk to.

1:40:53 You kept me when I cried in my pillow at night. Come on, let it out. You kept me. And you sent this word tonight. You know what I got tonight? I know for sure. You heard me. You heard me.

1:41:20 And I'm going to raise a thank you offering and honor you. And when I sow my seed, I'm going to cast my cares on him because he cares for me. We're going to do things a little bit different from how we normally do. If you're in the building, I'm going to ask you to bring your seed right to this altar. With no form, no fashion, no order, no escorts.

1:42:13 I want you to lay it on the altar. I'm giving my pain. I'm giving my discontentment. If you're watching online, if you never sow again, you need to sow in this moment.

1:42:35 Because God is working on you to take you from groaning to glory. from groaning. to glory from groaning Nobody knows what that offering means But you and the Lord Nobody knows. nobody knows he's healing some things he's fixing some things he's moving some things he's perfecting some things nobody knows but you and God you don't want to miss this if you're online I declare there's ministry in here I can feel the ministry of God in this room Can you feel the ministry of God in this room?

1:43:41 Clap your hands if you can feel the ministry. of God in this room keep my stream going don't you stop till I stop now listen here Deacons receive the offering Right off the altar When you pick it up You're picking up pain You're picking up sorrow You're picking up depression You're picking up suicide You're picking up doubt You're picking up unbelief You're picking up agony You're picking up sorrow You're picking up discontentment You're picking up insomnia You're picking up doubts You're picking up fear. Let it out. You're picking it all up. You're picking it up.

1:44:32 We are going home free. We are going home loose. We're going home well. We're going home delivered. We're going home better. We're going home. We're going home. We're going home better. We're going home better. We're going home better. It's not just her. It's not just her. It's all over the building. It's all over the building. The Holy Spirit has called this meeting. Hallelujah. We're going to walk out this word. We're going to walk out this word. We're going to walk out this word. We're going to walk this word out. If we don't walk this word out, it's going to kill us. We're going to walk this word out. We're going to walk this word out. We're going to walk this word out. We're going to walk this word out. With the few minutes I got left, if you're online or in this building, and you don't know Jesus,

1:45:28 in this present time, you can't make it. You need a personal, intimate, deep down, gully washing, thirst quenching, mind renewing encounter with God. you need it. I'm glad for your therapist. I'm glad for your degrees in psychology. But it's going to take the groaning of the Holy Spirit to fix your life. For all you've been through and what you're going through at this present time, now is the time of salvation. If you're in this room and you don't know the Lord, But if you're in this room and you're backslidden, if you're in this room and you've been out of fellowship, I want you to bring yourself down to this altar.

1:46:23 Not your seat, but yourself. And give yourself to God. Thank you, deacons. Bring yourself to God. Bring yourself to God. Bring yourself. Come on. Bring yourself to God. If you're watching over the Internet or on the screen, our prayer lines are open for you right now. Bring yourself to God. Bring yourself. Bring yourself. If you're backslidden and you're out of fellowship and you can come to church every Sunday and be backslidden as all get out. You know in your heart that you don't have the fire burning for God like you used to and you are contented to be cold.

1:47:19 You don't mind being lukewarm. You got excuses for being lukewarm. But God said, I will spew you out of my mouth. You need to get right with God. Come on. No faking. No just coming to church. God don't have to be glad because you're here. You have to be glad that he lets you live to be here. So if there's a backslider in the house Could everybody stand for a minute So nobody has to walk over you If there's a backslider in the house Join us at this altar Tonight is our night Thank you for saying yes to God Thank you for saying yes to God Thank you for saying yes to God Thank you for saying yes Thank you for saying yes Thank you for saying yes to God thank you for saying yes online thank you for saying yes to God thank you for saying yes it's not too late to give him a yes it's not too late to get it right with God it's not too late to come closer to Jesus it's not too late it's not too late you know you don't have the fire like you used to have you know you're not your prayer life is zilch you only pray when you in trouble you think He's an EMT, just somebody you call to get you out of an emergency.

1:48:49 Tonight is your night. I'm sorry I didn't get to answer your questions. But maybe I did. Maybe I did. Before I pray tonight, before I pray tonight, I'm going to make one last sweep. If you are in this room and you want to go from groaning to glory. if you've been worshiping at the throne of your own opinion and you keep getting into the same trouble time after time after time you have been faithful to idols and indifferent to God you didn't mean to but you did before I prayed come on come on down You got the victory when you started walking.

1:49:54 You got the victory when you started walking. You got the victory when you started walking. You got the victory when you started walking. You got the victory when you started walking. You got the victory right there. The moment you took the first step, you got the victory when you moved out and came to God. Everywhere there is a soul I want to minister. Everywhere there is a soul I want to minister. Because we're going to do personal ministry. We're going to get some breakthroughs around this altar. We're going to get a touch from God. We're going to catch on fire. We're going to be renewed. We are praying for you. I don't care what time zone you're in. I don't care what country you're in. I don't care what's going on in your life.

1:50:47 We are praying for you right now. I want the whole church to point your hands this way as miracles are going to happen around this altar. I smell the burning lambs. I smell the smell of sacrifice. I smell the sweet surrender of souls who have been in dark places and God is anointing you. Come on, ministers. I want you to pray for them. I don't want you to look at them and hold your hand out. I want you to minister to them.

1:51:23 I want you to minister to them. I want you to minister to them. I want you to win them to Christ. I want you to pray to their washed in the blood. I want you to pray to their set free. I want you to pray to their made whole.
