In 1 Corinthians 6 verse 18, Paul wrote, flee immorality for every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body. That word immorality in Greek is the word pornea. We get our word pornography from it. And the word pornea is an umbrella term. It refers to any kind of sexual activity outside of the marriage relationship. For example, for single adults, it would be fornication. When a single adult engages in sex with someone other than his mate, that is fornication, sex outside of the marriage relationship. Homosexuality, that is sex with somebody of the same sex, that is out of the bounds of God's relationship.
